I am so sad. I door dashed some food from here last night, got my favorite meal (Angry Lion King), and I didn't notice that part of it was rotten. There was one bite that seemed off, but I didn't think much of it. At 2am I get violently ill, spewing from both ends. Never ordering from here again. read more

The food was excellent and the portions were very generous for the quality food that you receive. The ambiance was a little lacking but it was still very cozy. The service was extremely fast, i was surprised when i only had to wait what felt like a couple minutes before my food was ready read more

Ample parking Cheaper priding than most , great service. This is a small place with outside seating. I ordered the agedashi tofu (8.50) which is a tad pricey - good flavor. 6 pieces , actually 3 because they cut ithe small square tofu in half. I also ordered their bento box w salmon (perfectly cooked) and tempura. ( veggies w 1 shrimp only ) I saved the shrimp for last but was disappointed. The shrimp was so small and mushy. Would I go back ? Maybe. Not sure. read more

My son wanted to try sushi for his 7th birthday lunch. After asking around we went here because majority said it was the best. I must say the food was excellent! My son and husband got the same thing and couldn't stop saying how amazing it was! I got the beef teriyaki and it was delicious. As for the gyoza, it was so good, I told my husband we must only go here for potstickers from now on. The only thing we disliked is the set up is awkward inside and there is limited seating. If giving ratings for food alone it would be 5 stars but as a whole 4. We will definitely be visiting again, we will just get take out instead. read more

Man pretty bummed about this. I've always enjoyed Yo Sushi, admittedly, it's been a little while since I've eaten there. My family has been there several times, but I was unavailable. We called in an order, promptly picked it up and headed home to enjoy. We did order several rolls and I was excited to enjoy the Dragon roll. Unfortunately, the tempura prawn was soggy, the texture was not pleasant and definitely not what I was expecting. The other rolls were okay. I also think they are pushing the barrier on the price, I find it expensive. read more

Not your typical restaurant but more of a diner rest stop serving excellent food! I was a bit confused when I first came to Yo sushi cause it reminds me of a quick diner places. There are several booths inside for seating and 3 large tables outside. They have an extensive menu and the prices here are very friendly. One can order first and then find a place to sit down. I ordered the don katsu and it was excellent. Very crispy and fair portions. I'd come back here for its casual vibes and great food selection. read more

Coming back to this restaurant for some take out was worth it! It has been awhile since I had been here. This was before they had their renovation. I wanted to eat some sushi and sashimi but was looking for a reasonable price so not to spend a lot. As I look in yelp for their menu, I cannot find any updated menu and just went with what I used to order before. This place did not disappoint. We ordered: Combo Tempura - It was pretty good! Crunchy and a lot! 2 shrimp tempura and lots of veggie tempura. It also came with steamed rice, potato salad and daigo (pickled dish). Combo Sunomono - which has a combination of seaweed, cucumbers, shrimp and octopus. Japanese salad with their sweet vinegar dressing. Yummy! Sushi and Sashimi combo - Fresh, and delicious! You cannot go wrong. I wanted some sushi, and some sashimi so, this was a perfect meal. We also got 3 orders of their sushi rolls. They were all delicious and the price are reasonable. Place looks clean and revived compared to the old one. A few tables inside if you plan on eating there. Friendly service! Will definitely come back. read more

I just had this delivered to me. I regret not taking a better picture. the sushi was great. They restaurant read my notes and it was delivered with everything I specifically asked for as well (I know I'm sorry, sometimes I'm picky) The sushi is very well priced when you actually visit the restaurant. Some delivery apps charge you a dollar or two extra just to use the app, but even then, 12 for a roll is not bad would recommend read more

This place is absolutely horrible. The miso ramen left a terrible taste in my mouth and the shrimp tempura was horrible as well. Under new management still slow as f*^%....oh ok waited 45 min on a walk-in order. The soft shell crab sat it was stone cold when I got home in 10min there's no way it was freshly made. Ughhh. My sisters daughter just had a new baby girl a couple of weeks ago. Gramma and Great Auntie here decided to go to Fairfield for a visit. My niece was craving Sushi. This apparently is their favorite place to go. We arrived at opening. 11.00 am and were promptly waited on by a very nice young lady behind the counter. Our order was pretty big and included 6 Crab Mania Rolls, Tempura Calamari, California Roll and Crown California Roll. We were getting enough for lunch and left overs for her and family tonight. REVIEW OF FOOD....All absolutely delicious! I loved the presentation on the Crab Mania. The way they sear or torch the final product is beautiful! The California rolls were great too. Calamari was a wee bit rubbery, but the batter was light, not at all greasy and tasteful! RESTAURANT....I love walking into a business that takes pride in cleanliness, service, and interior design. Mind you, this place is pretty small inside, but it's organized with great photos of their food on the wall for all to see! Plus little plants add happiness to the tables. I took a couple of photos so check them out! Thanks again Yo Sushi. You have a new fan!! read more

Great service and ownership. Not to mention the great sushi. It is the best sushi in town by far.

TL;DR Best and fast sushi in 707, many rolls options, get rolls not sashimi, inside gets crowded but there's outside seating, pretty popular during peak eating times Fairfield Native here and I speak the truth: this is the best sushi place in the 707!!! I've been going here for the whole time I lived here (15 years!) and have never really picked another sushi place to go to whenever we want sushi. I will admit the rolls aren't "authentic" but that doesn't STOP THE AMERICANIZED ROLLS FROM BEING SUPER FUCKING GOOOOOOD. Like actually it's badass as fuck. Although I will say the sashimi and nigiri is just ok. They really shine in their flavors within the rolls. The menu is huge so here's all the best rolls for me. Best rolls: Mongolian (best cooked roll on the menu) Crown Spicy Tuna Deluxe Crispy (for ultimate cooked fish lovers) Spicy Garlic Salmon Angry Lion King (baked and worth the wait!) Japanese Lasagna (also baked and worth the wait) Black Hole Hot Mama Spider Roll The place is pretty small and very popular in the area so u might not get to sit down during a popular time but there's always outside seating available (bring your dogs!). A lot of people just take out anyways. Go forth and eat the best sushi in the 707!!! read more

We will not return here anymore. After four years of being regular customers we are solely disappointed with the food today! 1. No wasabi or picked ginger in mine, these are favorited. My wife had the wasabi next to rice but she dislikes wasabi. So contaminated rice. 2. Mexican peppers don't belong in Japanese bento boxes. This is a weird new addition, especially when it makes other food too hot for some. 3. The Takuan radish was cut into pieces 4 times larger than normal. Harder to eat. 4. After being raised in Japan and Hawaii I have never tasted SWEET teriyaki sauce on my beef. Maybe kids like it but it makes it inedible. Definite waste of $40.00+ We used to love the food. Not anymore. Must be new owner or manager because the quality has gone down the pooper! read more

My mom, her boyfriend, and myself came here after and Athletics game to get some sushi, somewhat a tradition for us if you will. The food was good- we each ordered the 2 entrée bento box. I ordered mine with the teriyaki beef and California roll-. It was tasty and just the right amount of food if your are little to medium hungry. I think personally I should have ordered two of the California roll as the teriyaki was on the sweeter side. Otherwise quick, efficient and friendly service great price tiny but clean place. read more

Rating this place for service only. So if you like being served by teens who are not motivated, slow, and could really care less about helping, then this is the place for you. The Vallejo store is by far a better experience and they are quick and attentive. If this is the only option for you, order way in advance. Give yourself an additional 10 min prior to picking up your food. It will save you grief from dealing with these entitled youngsters up front. (Especially the short haired one) Food is decent and kills the cravings. Price is good too. read more

10/10 i love this place I ordered the crab mania, edamame, potstickers, baked oysters, and the fire roll. The baked oysters melt in your mouth and the flavor is amazing! The fire roll has become my boyfriends favorite roll and he's not a big fan of sushi so that should say a lot, the jalapeños on top give it a nice hint of spice making it even better. Edamame as always never disappoints and the potstickers are always our go to. The cashier was kind answered all of our questions and brought our food and drinks out to us which is always highly appreciated. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back! read more

This is one of my favorite local sushi shops. My daughter and I frequent this place often for the past four years. I usually order the teriyaki salmon and the vegetable tempura with rice on the side. This is the best item in my opinion. The salmon is nicely flavored with a hint of teriyaki sauce that's not too overbearing. The vegetable tempura is literally cooked to perfection- soft veggies coated in crispness. Also, the avocados sushi rolls are another item that is very delicious. I recommend this place because the food is always fresh and delicious. read more
