I got food poisoning the last time I was here. It was terrible. Never felt more sick in my life

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star, if you're African American they sit you right next to the door. This happened to me on multiple occasions! MANY SEATS AVAILABLE!! The waiter was rushing for us to order and rushing for us to leave. There were so many seats available and parties that were there even before us and they hurried and brought us the check and let everyone else sit and talk. I looked around and he offered not one other person the bill. They will not be getting my service & a nice tip for them was left on the receipt! He would've gotten a tip if he treated us with the same respect as everyone else in the restaurant

Spicy turn and crab sushi roll (The spice level was extremely low) from a girl who can not eat spicy food

The sushi was good. My friend and I order 3 different sushi rolls and one appetizer. The is good place to order to go or dine in if you have a taste for good decent sushi and your in the area. I like the ambiance. It's very comfortable and chill. The customer service was five stars hands down. That's what keeps me coming back. Nice people who make sure their customers are satisfied and have everything they need. Extra water, napkins and chops without asking. I can really appreciate that. Oops, I was too hungry to have a food photoshoot lol I only have this one image of the first roll that arrived.

    Chicken Teriyaki Vegetable Tempura
    Cassandra C.

The tempura wasn't as crispy or filling. I'm use to 8 slices of sushi. The meal was a small portion as well jazzed up with fruit and a salad. Look up Pete's teriyaki in Fresno CA. That's worth the price. The waitress was nice. Skimped on teriyaki portions... I don't like tempura sauce or liquid. Lastly I want around 4. Happy hour woohoo but prices were like a dollar off. Not much drink selection advertised. Pretty quiet at this time. I won't be coming back ...

We live nearby so we've eaten here countless times over the years. A few times have been a miss but lately we've had no complaints. It's a decent place to get a good bang for your buck since they have many specials.

Proof they charged me for the unfresh sashimi

My favorite roll here is the Dragon roll. It's really a nice sized roll. It's the perfect balance of sweetness, crunch and umami. We tried the agedashi tofu. Next time I would ask them not to but bonito flakes on it, but that's just my personal preference. It was well fried and pillowy soft as well as crunchy. The sauce was really tasty. The salmon carpaccio was okay. Next time I would ask they not add the truffle oil. I felt like it took away from the flavor a bit. The radish micro greens were a nice spicy touch. We also tried a new roll this time, the climax roll. It was good. Spicy, sweet and crunchy. Again it was a nice sized roll. We love this spot and we come to eat here whenever we are in the area.

Haruki sushi that's where, it's in Vacaville and next to Jack and the box, the food is so good, I've been here a few times and it's busy but never full, always room at a table. Ambiance, is Japanese fish on the wall kitty cats waving at you, the whole kitten kaboodle ( see what i did there) Anyway, it's a nice place to come enjoy a great meal with the family or a date. The food, oh man let me tell you, my two grown boys treated me to dinner, I had two ordes of the ahi poke salad sounds like alot but when you taste it you will shake your head yes, and nobody is asking you questions. Just in your head celebrating with a yessss! The seaweed salad is out of this world, it definitely satisfied my poke cravings. As a family we had Dragon, Dynamite, Sumo, Dancing Spider and Fantasy rolls. Sounds like alot but man it's sooo good, we all know how to use chopsticks but about halfway through my Asian wife gives up and asks for a fork, lol (I got scolded for adding that) I asked my boys 3 times which was their favorite, they said they loved them all. I asked if you could only have one which would it be, they said the Dragon roll, The spicy edema had great flavor. The service, the service was friendly and ready to fill your glass as needed. Not big on conversation but I assume the language barrier had something to do with that. In all its a great place bring the famBam and enjoy, Price is 10- 15 bucks a roll. Worth every dollar Enjoy

The setup was pretty interesting with tables on the side and a conveyor belt with the center where the chefs are working and seating lined around that. The staff were kind and helpful in explaining how it all worked being that it was all you can eat. First, there is a menu where you can place orders with the staff for things like appetizers and drinks. We got some sodas and ordered items such as edamame, miso soup and grilled salmon teriyaki. Then in the center where the conveyor belt is, you can walk around to it and pick up plates that you want to try. It mostly seemed like nigiri and rolls that they were commonly making. In the center, the chef station is between the conveyor belt area and there you can order more specific items you want to try like a roll, sashimi or handrolls. We chose to order some different sashimi like salmon and yellowtail and handrolls like the spider and alaska. They also make a bunch of extra dishes that you can take off the shelf as well. For the price and the experience, we thought it was very enjoyable from the multitude of options to the freshness of the items.

We did the AYCE and I definitely got my money's worth. The service was courteous and prompt. The ambiance was typical for a K-BBQ spot- the open floor plan makes for a slightly louder place, but at least the music was not blasting so loudly that conversation was hindered. The menu has meat and other dishes that can be ordered a la carte, if all you can eat is not your thing. (Or if you don't want to have to grill your own meat.) We ordered: -Pork belly (regular, thin sliced, and soy garlic. All great, but the thin sliced has always been my favorite). -Marinated beef (tasty). -LA ribs (well marinated and not too salty). -Bulgogi and the Hawaiian bulgogi (the Hawaiian was good and I like the pineapple chunks to grill,, but preferred the regular because it was less sweet). -Shrimp (head and shell on, be prepared to peel and de-vein after grilling). -Marinated baby octopus (one of my son's favorite things he had there). Some highlights that will bring me back: -Sliced pickled radish to wrap the meat for a low carb option. -Glutinous rice paper to wrap the meat (nice and chewy texture, great touch to the marinated meat). -ALL of the banchan was spot on. Zingy kimchi, firm broccoli, not too sweet fishcakes, and seasoned bean sprouts were among our faves. -Last but not least, the crispy chicken wings. Crispy like Korean fried chicken should be with delicious sauces (we tried the sweet and spicy, and the soy garlic). Worth it to come back just for that. We will definitely be going back soon!

I ordered from DoorDash so this review will be a bit limited…read more The prices for the food are pretty affordable! On DoorDash the deluxe entree options with seafood like lobster and scallops are around $30. The non-deluxe options are around $20-25. The entrees come with grilled veggies and fried rice. We also ordered gyoza. Everything arrived still hot. The gyoza was still nice and crispy. The dipping sauce for the gyoza has some red pepper flakes in it so prepare for a kick. The fried rice is really flavorful and there's a lot of it. In those three compartment take out containers it fills the largest compartment. The scallops were cooked well and seasoned well. I appreciate that you have your choice of doneness for the steak. Next time I would add some miso soup or salad as sides. The entrees were good but without something fresh or soup to balance it out it started to edge on the verge of a little too salty for my taste. For a meal for two people (with leftovers) the total came out to around $66 on DoorDash. I'm sure the pricing is better in-store. I really wanted to like this restaurant. Everything was great, except for the food. I ordered the chicken teriyaki hibachi. The rice was flavorless and oily. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor, even with the teriyaki sauce. My husband ordered the spicy tuna roll, which tasted like canned tuna mixed with spicy sauce. However, the rolls were cut in a nice bite-sized shape; not too large, not too small. The food was very mediocre.
