The yakitori was overcooked and heavily drenched in what tasted like store-bought teriyaki sauce. The shrimp tempura didn't taste like shrimp, despite each piece having a tail attached. The decorations are cute. Traditional Japanese decor. The food was so delicious. All of the rolls tasted fresh and were full of flavor. We got the rose roll and the SF roll and one more roll that I can't remember the name of and none of them disappointed. Each one was amazing. The roll was just OK and did not spark any big interest in flavor or uniqueness. The rice was also very dry and hard in the roll. The dons were mediocre. The Chirashi was better than the Unagi Don. The unagi had flavor but they skimp on the sauce. To me, the unagi sauce makes the dish taste great but they had little on the eel and the rice was dry.
