Over multiple visits this has led to moments of over-service (being offered water 3 times in 5 minutes, for example), or under-service (running out of napkins and having to flag someone down). Also, the "call staff" feature of the table-side kiosk is limited to requesting the bill. Look forward to returning again soon. Yo Sushi is never a disappointment. Honestly, there wasn't a single thing I didn't want to try. I usually judge a sushi spot by its dragon roll, and this one absolutely delivered. The tempura was warm and crispy, topped with fresh avocado and rich unagi. Best of all, the rolls were the perfect size, so you don't have to unhinge your jaw just to get one piece in your mouth. The Titanic Roll was just as impressive. It came loaded with tamago and finished with a generous layer of cream cheese that brought everything together. These rolls were a little more challenging to pick up, so if your chopstick skills are questionable, ask for a fork. We wrapped things up with the mango mochi ice cream. They offered to top it with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, and naturally I said yes. The mango flavor really shines without being overpowering, and the mochi had that perfect soft, chewy texture instead of the thick, gummy consistency that some places serve. From the quality of the food to the generous portions, this place knocked it out of the park. If you're in Vacaville and craving sushi or ramen, Yo Sushi & Ramen is absolutely worth a visit. My go-to ramen is the Black Garlic, and you can ask for the hot sauce on the side so you can add as much as you like depending on your spice level. Depending on the time of day, there may be a wait since it's a smaller, more intimate restaurant, but it's definitely worth it. The fish is always fresh, and the broth is so flavorful!
