Menu (6/12/2026)

We came into Yo Sushi for dinner today a little after 6pm on a Friday. There were a couple larger groups and a couple small groups of customers eating, so we were seated quickly with physical menus (I prefer that over digital menu). Water came out fast. You can order by the tablet or a server can take your order. We decided to order by tablet which is very easy to do. Food: - Bento Box A $19.00 (choose 2 items): Teriyaki Beef and Shrimp Tempura. The beef is a decent quality steak unlike other restaurants that use cheaper cuts of beef. Teriyaki sauce has good flavor and is not too salty or too sweet. Shrimp tempura was a crunchy and decent size. The salad is organic mix greens with their house dressing which tasted good. The bento box also comes with miso soup. Their miso soup is not watered down and had strong miso flavor with bits of tofu, seaweed and green onions. - Bento Box B $19.00 (choose 2 items, 1 item is a sushi roll): Some rolls are extra cost. Teriyaki Beef and Futomaki Roll (+$2.50): The Futomaki is very good, has good amounts of kampyo, shiitake mushroom, sweet egg and other veggies with minimal rice. - Sashimi Trio $23.50 (or roll, nigiri, sashimi): Good portion size with thick cuts of fresh fish sashimi. Comes with miso soup. Service was excellent! We were checked upon many times by different servers. Water was refilled without waving anyone down. The owner even came by and gave 1/2 a bowl sample of their Japanese curry to try out. Was told they will be offering Japanese Curry soon. Overall, a great dining experience with really good food.

Met a friend for lunch after shopping in the area. We were greeted upon entry and seated right away. For all we ordered the tempura (I have never seen onion rings that ginormous in my life!). Our kind waiter surprised us with yummy, warm, lightly salted edamame. For lunch, we were both so indecisive and opted for bento boxes to get a sample. My salmon filet was a nice option, sushi, salad, rice, soup..too much to finish so we left with dinner the next day. Highly recommend. Food was delicious and the warm, kind service was phenomenal.

I love that YO is in Vacaville! My first time visiting this location. It's as beautiful as they all say it is. I learned that the cooks and management are from Fairfield so it was nice to see familiar faces. Was a little bummed they don't offer my fav salmon skin at this location but really enjoyed a Fairfield usual that they accommodated for me. Had a great time celebrating with good friends

First time at a Yo Sushi, and was pleasantly surprised. I took my mom here she got sashimi and we both had miso soup and split an order of shrimp tempura. I had two sushi rolls Deluxe spicy tuna and crab mania. They were out of maguro so they gave us two regular tuna sashimi, which honestly I think they should have either offered a single or another choice and not assumed but it turns out my mom ate them both so it worked out. Service was prompt but ordering is on a tablet which made it feel a bit like the sushi go rounds where you place specials orders on the tablet. The tempura, miso and sushi were excellent, although the unagi sauce on the spicy tuna made it a little too sweet. The crab roll was fabulous though and I'll definitely be going back.

Third time checking Yo Sushi; this time my wife's aunt and uncle accompanied us. There wasn't too many people inside when we arrived, but people started showing up shortly after. The staff is always friendly and courteous when we visit. The Air Force sushi rolls which are fried are delicious! The sashimi was very fresh and thr Ramen soup was a nice serving. My wife and I tried the fried takoyaki balls but I don't think we were feeling those too much. Overall the dining experience was outstanding and always enjoy coming here.

Service was amazing! Hannah was so nice and accommodating and checked up on us routinely. Everything we got was tasty and so fresh. The Three Amigo's was my favorite and it was soooo fresh and tasty. My kiddo loved her bento box and the cute shape her rice was in. The tempura shrimp and tempura veggies were perfect. Will be visiting again. Each table has a little computer for ordering which was a new experience for us but it worked well.

I attended the Yelp Elite event here and was super impressed. My girlfriend and I came for lunch after our hike at Peña. I was prepared to have the Bento Box since it was a ton of food last time. I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a lunch special price foe $4 less than the dinner price. Unfortunately, when the bento box came, there was no salad. I was so disappointed to find out that the lunch special didn't include the salad or Miso soup. So...it wasn't really a special price; it was less food for less money. It was a big bummer. Though the food was tasty, I probably would have paid more to get the salad and soup if I had known. My girlfriend ordered the Hamachi Kama. It took longer to come to the table than my meal, so I had to start eating before she had her food. She said it was tasty, but there was not much "grilled" flavor. Our servers were very attentive to begin with, but we asked for Sriracha and it took about 5 minutes before we got it. It was kind of weird that it took that long. We thought maybe they had to dig up a condiment packet, but it came out on a little dipping plate. The restaurant is clean and decently busy for 12:45 PM on a Sunday. We might come back again, but we will probably try other places before coming back.

The Yosushi chain has gotten pretty expansive! I feel like there is one in every city in the bay. Dined here with my fam today and it was an overall nice experience. Welcoming, modern and high tech ambiance with seasonal pumpkin patch vibes when we entered. Love the self-service kiosks and tabletop ordering tablets. Service was pretty attentive and quick too! Menu is extensive and has something for everyone, even vegan and vegetarian, though it would be nice to have a more entree vegan options like a bento box with tofu teriyaki. Agedashi tofu and Vacaville roll were tasty. Island roll I wasn't a big fan of, didn't like the sauce too much and it could have used crab and more love. Open to trying other items if in the area and we're not going to Buddha Thai or Rice Barn!

Stopped in this past weekend. Place was busy. But they still got the food out somewhat fast. I say somewhat fast because the hot mama roll tooked longer than usual. But the owner was nice enough to make sure that I got my sushi. And I didn't even have to remind her. The hot mama roll was tasty. Even the boys liked it. The wasabi was decorated nicely. But they forgot to pair it with soy sauce. A quick reminder was enough. Tho the sushi was filling and delicious, it is a bit pricey. The tonkatsu ramen however was decently priced. There is a good quantity of noodles and chashu. And at this restaurant, they make the chashu slices slightly crispy which is a nice touch. Though the ramen was lacking a piece of seaweed, yet the portions of the whole bowl was enough to feed a very hungry man or two teenage boys. The tonkatsu broth is very yummy. Tho do not expect ramen broth bits (like shrimp shell, pork bone, bonito flakes, etc) at the botttom of the ramen bowl. That may or may not be a good thing. Up to you! Lastly I ordered a ocha green tea to wash everything down (including fried gyoza). The tea was very aromatic. It's not cheap. But they give you a big nice glass tea pot. Overall a. Very good dining experience. Good for families, couples night, or even sweaty bros after hours of balling. Sabine Average B++

This was such a fun and interactive event! I ordered the Gyoza as an appetizer and the Miso Ramen for my entree. To say the least, everything was so delicious. I loved that we got chopsticks as well! Super cute and neat. I definitely want to come back and try their sushi rolls. Everyone that we spoke to were so friendly including the staff. Nice to know there's a new local delicious ramen spot for future cravings!

It was a clean feeling establishment with cute flowers. The staff were helpful and kind. We got the Ramen lunch specials one with the California roll and one with the salmon. We especially liked the broth in both Ramens.

7 Apr 26 Arrived- 4:24 PM Sat down- 4:30 PM Ordered Edemame - 4:32/ Arrived 4:48 PM Ordered Miso soup/korean corn dog- 4:43/ Arrived 4:55 PM Ordered Ramen- 4:43/ Arrived 4:58 PM Ordered 3 Classic Sushi Rolls- 4:43/ Arrived 5:28 PM 2 other people seated other than us that already had food. Take out orders were definitely prioritized. All the food i seen come out were take out orders. Somehow everything we ordered that wasn't sushi came out faster, but still had to wait a decent amount for it. The wait time would be reasonable if there were more people seated but there only 2 tables seated. Food overall was very mid. A great place to have conversation considering you'll be waiting a majority of the time. Cool trying out for the first time, but there's definitely better spots in Vacaville. Although the woman who came in at 5:30 and helped us with the check and take out containers, was very nice and helpful. I didn't get her name but she was very kind compared to the other staff. She had a black shirt, claw clip holding up her hair, asian, and all in all was very kind.

Stopped by for a late lunch and tried the black garlic ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were cooked just right overall, a really satisfying bowl. The only downside for me was the pork slices (I believe it's called chashu). They were cut a bit too thick, not as tender as I'd hoped, and didn't have much seasoning, so they tasted fairly plain compared to the rest of the dish. Service and atmosphere were pleasant. While this visit didn't fully win me. I'll be back to give it a try (one more time)

The service was equally good, friendly greeting, attentive throughout the meal, water always filled, and never overbearing. This is what good customer service should be. I ordered the three-item lunch combination with chicken teriyaki, a rainbow roll, and Hamachi, along with rice, salad, miso soup, and an orange slice. The Hamachi was the star, exceptionally fresh, tender, and buttery, exactly how good Hamachi should be. The rainbow roll wasn't a showstopper in presentation, but it absolutely delivered on freshness and flavor. The teriyaki chicken was tender with just the right amount of sauce. And the final surprise? Around $20 plus tax for the entire lunch. Fresh fish, great service, plenty of food, and a very reasonable price. A great little hidden gem. If you enjoy sushi and you're in the area, this one is definitely worth a stop.

I ordered from DoorDash so this review will be a bit limited…read more The prices for the food are pretty affordable! On DoorDash the deluxe entree options with seafood like lobster and scallops are around $30. The non-deluxe options are around $20-25. The entrees come with grilled veggies and fried rice. We also ordered gyoza. Everything arrived still hot. The gyoza was still nice and crispy. The dipping sauce for the gyoza has some red pepper flakes in it so prepare for a kick. The fried rice is really flavorful and there's a lot of it. In those three compartment take out containers it fills the largest compartment. The scallops were cooked well and seasoned well. I appreciate that you have your choice of doneness for the steak. Next time I would add some miso soup or salad as sides. The entrees were good but without something fresh or soup to balance it out it started to edge on the verge of a little too salty for my taste. For a meal for two people (with leftovers) the total came out to around $66 on DoorDash. I'm sure the pricing is better in-store. Love that they have quite a selection on their menu, from teppanyaki to sushi rolls. We chose to try their Teppanyaki: Steak & Shrimp and Steak & Scallops. It was good. The scallops and shrimp are cooked perfectly. The steak is quite done (we asked for a medium), it still tastes good. It came with rice and veggies which are cooked just right. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for the price. Very affordable. We will surely be back.

You'd…read morethink sashimi would be one of those items that's always consistently good across sushi restaurants but - no. Sometimes it's too firm, lacks flavor, or even worse, the texture is mush (sign of spoiled / old fish). I've always been wowed by the high quality of fish they use at Ayame and it's what keeps me coming back. It's also why I ask for double sashimi in my bento because I'm here for the good stuff. The miso this time around was fairly diluted. Not sure what was going on there. The side salad was good and always a nice palate cleanser. My wife ordered the bento as well and she asked for sashimi as was as a Philadelphia roll. There was something "off" with her roll. The smoked salmon tasted like it had an artificial smoke flavoring added to it which threw off the balance of the other flavors. Swing and a miss on this one. The ambiance itself hasn't changed a bit. Still a no frills place that focuses on the food and I appreciate that. The service was quick and efficient. It's possible to get in, order, eat, and leave, all within 45 minutes, which is what we did since they were close to closing their lunch service. Thanks Ayame for always using high quality fish.
