Came here for my birthday and had an absolute blast! They have an all you can eat menu which is what we ordered and everything was so good! This is one of the few places in Vacaville that serve baked sushi rolls and this was my first time trying them and I have to say they are my favorite!!! Everything comes out super pretty and super quick! The restaurant is family friendly and has an overall calm vibe to it. Service is relatively quick and nice and we weren't waiting too long to be seated, to order, or for the check when we were ready to leave. Something has changed... things are not the same.... I ordered 2 California rolls. Simple right? how can you mess that up? Well this place did! To start off with the avocado was so not ripe and so hard. Then the mushy grainy consistency of the crab was just gross. Yooo, if you want some damn decent sushi for a affordable price you need to pop in. The restaurant is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a group of 12 and the took really good care of us. I recommend the all you can eat menu because you can try different dishes and at the $20 price point is fasho worth it. I think they could finally get better with their service and quality , it has been years. I feel like the service has gone down as I would frequent this place often. I had one of my rolls take roughly 30-35 minutes to come out. The food itself rubbed me the wrong way as I had almost a bitter taste out of my salmon nigiri. Could have been an off catch that came in but I'm redirecting to another sushi establishment for now. Management needs to just take a look at revamping I think. read more

I've been here a few times and was never impressed with their food. I ordered the blossom roll and Golden Gate roll, both of which had ingredients I usually like. However, the rolls lacked flavor to me. My side of miso soup and the edamame were just okay. My husband ordered a beef dish that had glass noodles and soup, but I thought it was kind of salty. This is our "number 1" sushi place. Everything is fresh. We ordered 3 rolls and the "flaming shrooms" (secret menu item). The "flaming shrooms" are a deep fried ground beef, mushroom, jalapeños, crab salad, all put together. So good! This is the place where my husband and I had our first date. I can see why this place is so popular. Around $20 (ish) for an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet is a rare find in 2025, y'all. Our server was so kind and friendly, which made dining in a really pleasant experience. As for the food, you get what you pay for. The nigiri was rubbery and lacked freshness. You could tell it was low quality by the way the seaweed was wrapped. The DFS and Dragon Lady rolls were actually pretty good and worth trying. My son has been ordering food from here for quite sometime and has recommended it to friends. Today he shared his experience which was so shocking and hurtful to hear. He was seated at the middle row table and was greeted by his waitress who took his order and after 30 mins came back and stated the order was misplaced? He reordered and waited another 30mins, no food. Meanwhile those that came after him had been served and were eating. The waitress felt bad and also realized something was going on. The cook can clearly see the floor and see my son. He refused to serve him. After waiting more than an hour my son got up and told the waitress he was leaving. She felt so bad. He went to his car and grabbed a $10 bill and paid her a tip for her troubles. It was not her fault, she kept apologizing for this delay. However my son felt discriminated. The manager, the head cook, no one approached him to apologize for such a delay. They saw him leave and they also saw him come back in to tip the waitress. This place is a must-visit-again! My Father-In-Law visited here a few weeks ago and told me he'd like to take me there because of how great his experience was. Today, he, myself, my daughter and my neice had lunch there. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and set up. It was super clean, as well. The staff were so polite and professional. They have a beautiful sushi bar set up with all the fresh ingredients you could possibly want. We ordered off of the regular menu and all got Bento Lunch Boxes. I had the Chicken Katsu and Tempura shrimp. It came with a house salad (amazing in-house made dressing), steamed white rice, miso soup and delicious sauces. The prices were shocking compared to other restaurants and the portions you receive. Vanessa was very attentive, kind and sweet. I will for sure be going back! After an unexpected rainfall in Vacaville over the weekend, I was hangry and wanted to eat AYCE sushi. We found this spot, however, on Saturdays, AYCE sushi ends at 3pm. We arrived at 3:14pm :( As I mentioned, I was hangry so we decided to give this place a try and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the sashimi combo plus 3 rolls and left feeling satisfied. The sashimi combo is about $50 and you get around 25 pieces of sashimi, chef's choice. It was actually a mixed of fresh and frozen fish on our plate. As we ate our sashimi, you can tell which fish were frozen because it was ice cold on the tongue. Maybe it was on ice longer than expected or maybe it could've been frozen. Most of the sashimi was fresh though so it was fine. I love how the plates are decorated, the presentation is very nice. Would I order the sashimi combo again? Probably not. The pricing of the rolls claim to be 50% off, but when seeing the menu, it's the typical sushi price range of $11-$13 per roll. The rolls were tasty and probably the reason I'd come back. I highly recommend the Mike 88 roll! It's drenched in sauce but made for a good dipping sauce. Service was very quick and we didn't wait long for our food. Dreaming of this place even though I was just there last night. My sushi was soooo good and it's all actually decently priced. I got the Rainbow Roll and Tuna Heaven. The rainbow roll didn't have a much fish as they normally do, but the flavor was good. The Tuna heaven was a recommendation and I have to say that was my favorite. My friend got the Golden Gate which has cooked shrimp and was also very good but very saucy. My other friend got a Bento box with seasame and teriyaki chicken...
