They had the order prepped and waiting and she was beautiful we went for some of the more pricier options that had more fish, the Crpazy Monkey Roll and My X Roll. I was most attracted to this place for its "one dollar sign" status because I'm ALL FOR CHEAP SUSHI. But not having read reviews prior to coming, I was a bit shocked when the check was much higher than expected. First off, they do not list the prices for each sushi roll pictured on the menu. Prices range from $5 to $14 so I think it's kind of important to have those listed, as cost is definitely a deciding factor when ordering. The menu selection is extensive, including but not limited to fried appetizers, noodle soups, sashimi options, bento boxes, nigiri and more! There are some really affordable dishes but most range on the pricier side. The service here was pretty decent. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the ambience reminds me a hole-in-the-way kinda place but in no way unhygienic! There are a few 4-top tables inside and more picnic tables outside. Parking isn't an issue either. I'm giving this place 3 stars for their high cost and fish quality in combination with the misleading "one dollar sign" label. Don't get me wrong, the fish was not bad. The rolls had a decent amount of fish but the flavors were masked with soy sauce and mayo. The udon broth was bland and noodles overcooked. My favorite dish was the spam musubi, which is unfortunate considering this is a sushi place. My boyfriend and I were disappointed with the overall cost. Off the beaten path of a non local I stopped in to this diner type location when looking for a sushi spot on the way back from Tahoe (where there surprisingly isn't any good sushi). The menu is quite large, with a lot of speciality rolls as the main highlights and everything else almost an after thought though they have all of the typical entrees. After several minutes of debate we settled on three rolls, Fantasy, O Happy Day and one who's name alluded me right now. All were big, like really big. Almost needed a fork and knife! More importantly, they were delicious. The selection of rolls is intense, so many variations and some that take extra time to make. We also tried the katsu, which was quite a large portion and pretty average for katsu and the chicken teriyaki which was underwhelming mostly due to the teriyaki sauce itself which was a little slimy for my taste. All in all a good find and worthwhile stop! I would come here again for the sushi and made the udon which we saw others eating and enjoying. read more

So I drove over there and I said why isn't anyone answering their phone and they said we're not allowed to answer any calls if we are busy. I said OK that's fine I will place the order with you so I placed my order and I paid and they said to come back in 35 minutes. I came back and it was over an hour before I got my food. They tried to apologize and say that we can give you a drink or miso soup for the inconvenience. I said can I just please have a little bit of edamame instead and they were like no sorry. This is no longer my favorite sushi place. Their quality is going down while their prices are going up. On a recent visit, the tuna sashimi was absolutely horrible. It had the consistency of a Swedish Fish candy and looked like one of those display foods because it was so dry. I didn't even know sashimi can get this way. Its a former burger joint-turned Korean run Sushi Joint complete with fancy western style sushi rolls and creations with K-Pop playing on the TV screen. Watch your step because this cramped little spot has a little "ramp" when you go up to check out their menu selections. their "sushi bar" area (if you wanna call it that) is kinda awkward because the people eating in that area stare inches away from their menu/wall and there is no interaction with the sushi chefs The only thing I remembered was the Uni and Saba nigiri. I ordered $60 worth of sushi from here for date night and was ready to get my craving on. I ordered the baked lion king roll (crowd favorite), tuna sashimi platter and a yellow tail roll. All of which were thrown away in the trash after the first couple of bites. The fish, rice and ginger looked as if it had been sitting out for the past few days. Also, on one of my yellow tail rolls I found a small black hair. Wtf!!! I mean come on. How does this place stay open? Talk about unsanitary. If you knew me, you would know that until today, I have NEVER thrown out a meal. Usually I just eat the meal and deal with it's lack of quality. This meal from "Yo Sushi" had to be tossed in the trash. I sit here writing this and my stomach is literally turning. Not sure if the fish was bad but all of it tasted absolutely disgusting. This place is aight...only came here once. I ordered the Tempura roll and it was a dollar more than what I pay for at SUSHI TANDY. I was kinda disappointed that it was more expensive than SUSHI TANDY and there were less pieces too. SUSHI TANDY comes w/ 9-10 pieces and its cheaper (jst sayin). I still like their food, their quality of food is good. Not the fancy sushi place but more of a casual place. Their dining area is small (4 tables) with more picnic benches outside. My favorites here is the combo sunomono, the north Texas roll, the angry lion king, and this new one with fried eel on top. I like that their bento boxes has a variety of items and is good. They have some interesting rolls with asparagus, chicken and few deep fried rolls. This place is worth trying as they have a good variety and the quality is acceptable. One of my go to sushi spots! Food: Sushi here is always fresh!!! Sushi is so good I usually come here at least twice a week for lunch!!! Rolls are full, never skimpy! I'm not really a fan of their California rolls, they have a weird after taste, but other than that sushi is AMAZING!!! They also have mochi ice cream that is a must try!!! Atmosphere: this restaurant consist of only a few tables, and outside here are a few benches. The restaurant is newly remodeled. I am not a sushi lover but with all of the options most people can find something. I personally like the dragon. This place is really small with a capacity on 20 in the building. They have outside seating as well. So if you are planning to eat there you have options. The customer service is good even though the place can get busy. A little disappointed today I haven't ate here in a while but I remember my tempura/veggie and shrimp being sooooo bomb at one point now just doesn't taste the same. The tempura sauce tastes a bit sweeter than usual and the tempura wasn't crispy granted from the steam in box it still had no crunch it was kind of mushy and the shrimp wasn't rich pink like it normally would be it was slightly still grey toned but it was cooked.
