Yepez services arrived this morning to adjacent property this morning. I know because on this Saturday morning, tree saws, leaf blowers and other loud tools woke my 2 year old up at 7:55 AM. I then experienced a gust of dust, tree trimmings being blown and dropped on to my back yard. Sandra at their contact tel. # promised it would be cleaned up once they finished the job today. 11/12/23 sitting in the front yard waiting for a client while the gardeners are servicing 209 S. Oakland. The little man with the tattoos on his neck started to blow the trash, leaves & Dirt. He started his blower and walked the other way . Came back toward us after making his right side pile and didn't bother to tell us he was going to blow the dirt right at us. He saw that I jumped up and just kept on blowing away. He Did not respond what so ever. Saw other pedestrians and was cussing to himself and seemed to be in sort of distress you could see him raising his hand in the air about people walking by. He even went on the other side of the Yepez Service truck and blew a bunch of trash and leaves from under the truck right at us even seeing we had already moved to the back side of the lawn . Super rude, he needs an attitude adjustment. I tried to talk to the older man he was with and unfortunately I could not communicate with him. I asked if he was the boss and he said yes but I don't think he understood what I was trying to tell him. I felt horrible I could not convey my message. He was just smiling. I try to live my life kind and gentle and when you meet rude people it sucks. I thought to leave a review here for others to see that this company has a rude & inconsiderate employee. read more

We have used Yepez Services twice for a winter yard trimming and clean up. Both times we were very happy with the results. Omar and his crew arrived on time, pruned our shrubs and trees quickly and professionally, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. Everything looks great! The price was also very reasonable. I just had a pretty bad $$ experience with Yepez Gardening. They gave me an estimate to trim my large eucalyptus and chinese elm trees of $1650 which I thought was pretty cheap since I got another estimate for $3000 so I agreed to have them do the work. When they came to do the work, they said, "Oh no, the estimate does not include that tree. That will be an extra $900." Reluctantly, I agreed but I'm sure I told them about that tree. It is the most problematic on my property. So they were here for two days, completed the "original" trees and I paid the original $1650 estimate. They came back to do the $900 tree a two weeks later. They then said I owed them another $1650. in addition to the $900. That I had only paid half the first time. I said, "No I gave you a check last time for the whole original estimate but not the $900 tree that you still had to do." He argued and argued with me that it was not right. I owed them another $1650. He agreed to take an additional $500 only. They did a good job but if you have ANY work done by them please get a bid in writing with exactly what is to be done and for now much. I really feel like I've been taken advantage of and I would not recommend them to others. This was bait and switch at its worst. read more

Wow!!!! What an incredible job! We needed a tall pine tree trimmed as well as other work such as digging up and removing "trees" that were spreading their rhizomes across the yard. So happy we chose Yepez Services. We will be going through construction and needed all of our trees to be removed from the roots and some plants to be replanted. We reached out to Yepez Services and they came for a walk through answered all of our questions made everything clear and made sure we were all set on our end as well. When it came to booking we got the available days and said we would contact shortly. They reached back out to us and said they had an earlier spot and we took the spot. On the day of the team arrived and everyone was so professional and nice. Things were done so quickly. Since we needed the roots taken out as well we were told ahead of time that they would come back to complete the job. The second day came and the team was here efficiently working on removing the roots. The roots were also removed so quickly. The team replanted the few plants that we needed and made sure everything was set. Omar also came for a walk through to make sure everything was taken care of and we were all set. This is a great family owned local gardening and tree service. They've done a lot of work for me over the last year. They've done high quality work and the price is competitive. The crew shows up on time, and they're respectful, hardworking and knowledgeable. The owner, Jorge, works also and ensures that the job is done well and on time. I had one particularly difficult job for them. They were removing a tree and, to everyone's surprise, discovered nails and wires in the tree evidently left by prior owners. They kept breaking their chains and the job took much longer than anticipated. Without my requesting it, the crew and Jorge showed up on a Sunday to ensure the job was completed without delay. If you have gardening needs or you have trees that need to be removed or trimmed and you're located in the San Gabriel Valley, I highly recommend giving this company an opportunity to earn your business. read more

Our long time tree service left the area, and our trees were long overdue for trimming. Yepez Gardening was doing some work on a neighboring property and on a whim I asked them to give me a quote. I'm so glad that we did. When I called to schedule the service they told me they would call back the following Monday and see where we could fit in on their calendar. When they called on Monday there was a Tuesday cancellation and we were happy to take it. Jorge and his crew arrived just when I was told they would and were so nice! When I asked if they could clean out the vines in the side yard in addition to trimming the trees, they were most accommodating. I went to work and a few hours later I received photos of the completed work, which was completely unexpected but really wonderful. Our trees look fantastic, the yard was left neat and clean, and they were done on schedule and on estimate. We will certainly be calling them for our needs in the future, and will happily recommend them to family and friends! Today Yepez Gardending Services trimmed my lemon tree that was falling apart, branches breaking off and producing low quality fruit. They did a superb job of removing the broken branches, trimming it so that the sunlight could get to the leaves and fruit. They even removed the large rocks and stones that were inhibiting the growth of the roots. In addition, they shaped my orange tree that was getting out of hand and removed a huge sucker that was in the middle of it. The owner, Jorge, came last week to give me an estimate. I called Yepez because a highly regarded Arborist recommended them specifically. I like to deal with people I trust. They arrived with a crew today, right on time. Jorge's son, Omar, directed the crew on exactly what to do. He has just became a certified arborist this past week. Omar explained in detail what was needed, what they were going to do and how to best care for the trees in the future. I was expecting them to be good--they were terrific!!! They were professional, efficient, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Yepez Gardening has my very highest recommendation. I'm a retired teacher and a tough grader. They have earned an A+. read more

I called to have them give me an estimate to mow and trim my overgrown lawn. First appointment was Monday at 8:00 a.m. Not a problem. Got a phone call asking me to change the appointment to 5:00 p.m. No one ever showed up. The next day, got a phone call apologizing for the no-show due to a gardening emergency. Rescheduled to 5:00 p.m. The fellow arrives and says he is going out of the state and cannnot help me for at least two weeks. I said, can you just send a couple of guys to mow and trim? He says, you should just ask your neighbor's gardener to do it, and points to my neighbor's nicely mown lawn. Why did he waste my time? I think the guy is a snob, frankly. My lawn was overgrown because my sprinklers were broken for 6 months (I enjoyed the monthly water bill savings). They were recently fixed, and I let my gardener go months ago. The lawn is overgrown. Don't call him unless your lawn is already beautiful. read more

I disagree with Karen T is wrong. I have to say that I am 100% satisfied with how my landscaping services are handle by Yepez Gardening. They do quote you and stick to there quote. I haven't had any problems for 15 years. Jorge and his workers are wonderful and are very flexible. Whatever I want done to my garden they do with no problem. Money has never been a issue. I think Karen T just had trouble with communicating. Yepez gardening is very great with costumer service. He will call or come see you if there are issues. They are 100% great in my book. read more
