Another year and another great tree trimming by Diego's crew! We love the work that his crew does and they are very nice people. They show up on time, do really good work and everything is spotless when they leave! read more

When they finished the yard at my house the owner pulled me aside and told me what a great deal I got on his services, implying that "this is it". Well weeks after he left, I found out that the irrigation wasn't working properly and several plants were not receiving water. Then I find out that all the Roses and other plants were just thrown in the dirt.. No fertilizer or grow mix. The lawn was not watering properly with the irrigation. This was something I told him would be a problem, but Diego said it would be ok ... He was wrong. Diego said he would come out and look at it he never did I still have several plants not receiving water the Roses all had to be replanted. I have to water several plants by hand. Also, the selection of plants he chose must have been the dregs of the nursery. most show little to no growth (possibly because no fertilizer was installed also) They are not what I asked for. I did not know a deal meant shoddy work, with no follow up. I just asked, "What it would cost to do my front lawn". I didn't ask what is the cheapest way you can do this" read more

We wanted to plant a few fruit trees in our yard, and get some other trimming done. Diego came by the next day, gave us an estimate (lower than everyone else's), and had his crew here just over a week later. It's been almost 2 weeks, and all the new trees are flourishing (he also added a few drippers to the new locations), and the trees he trimmed look great. His team went above and beyond what we expected (for instance, they found a giant rock undergrouind where we wanted one tree, and took care of it without changing the price), and were on time and super friendly. I won't hesitate to recommend Green Crest to all our friends and neighbors, and will definitely have them back out when we need another trimming. read more

Fantastic tree trimmers! I highly recommend them. Diego responded to my phone call quickly. They protected my other plants underneath where they trimmed, and they cleaned up everything after they finished. read more

Diego and his crew did a great job at a reasonable price. We needed to remove sago palms in our yard (deadly to dogs) but didn't know what to replace them with. Diego helped us come up with ideas for new plantings. He did the removal and new plantings, and even came back at a later date to help us hang a tree swing (totally unrelated). We will definitely be using Green Crest for our future work. read more

They did a great job. Took the time and care to take out the tree AND the stump so there is no grow back. Also leveled everything and cleaned all around the area, even took the time to use a blower on our neighbors driveway to clean off all the dust. Definitely with use on my next tree project read more

In just one day, my wife noticed tree trimming work being done just a block from our home as she made her way back home after running a few errands. She stopped to question whether they could give an estimate of cutting down a couple of palm trees in our backyard when they finished up there. Within minutes of my wife's return home, Diego Dorado was at the house giving an estimate and stated that they would be able to do the work today. Within about an hour Diego's crew was at work in our backyard, removing the 2 palm trees as requested, and trimming a third on our hillside. They also cleaned up after themselves, as promised, and had all work completed within a couple of hours. Large palms can be a headache to upkeep, and if you have them growing on your property you surely know what I mean. Our neighbors on both sides of us will be pleased at their removal as well. Job well done! read more

We've had Diego and his crew take care of our trees for years. They always do a fantastic job. My dad is in construction and when a job requires tree work or if a client asks for a recommendation he only calls Diego. He is easy to work with and very knowledgeable about proper trimming and care of trees. This spring we had a few trees in need of pruning - Diego's crew got the job done quickly and took great care of our house and yard during the process. Can't recommend these guys enough. read more

My experience with this company couldn't be better. I have a huge yard that needed a lot of work. Diego was recommended by a neighbor and did not disappoint. He responded quickly and gave me an honest quote, then his crew did an amazing job and finished a day early. They cleared out tons of overgrowth and broken concrete, took out some dead trees and cleaned up the ones I kept... just a ton of work that I had been feeling overwhelmed about for weeks and then within a day it was all done. Amazing! read more

Green Crest trimmed a tall palm tree, and we are super happy with the work--from first getting the estimate to completion. The owner, Diego, and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, and polite. They did a great job trimming and cleaned up all debris. We had to delay the work for a couple of weeks because of fires and extremely high winds, but Diego kept in touch throughout to coordinate a new time. He responds quickly to requests, and makes sure the work is done well. read more

Diego responded promptly to my request and within an hour he had arrived at the property to assess how much it would cost to have a tree that was planted about 20 years ago removed and the stump ground down. The tree had grown ridiculously large, vertically some branches were more than twice the height of the house, horizontally the branches were coming close to power lines. When Diego arrived he offered me a fair and competitive price that I was comfortable with, so we made an appointment. There were a few reschedules, but Diego kept in contact with me all throughout, which helped me stay confident in my decision to work with him and his company. Once they got to work they were professional and courteous, the entire process with cleaning afterwards took about 6 hours which was more than reasonable for the scope of the tree. I'm very satisfied with my decision to work with Green Crest and I'm looking forward to no longer having to fill up two green bins full of raked leaves anymore. read more

I had Diego and his guys from Green Crest Tree Care come out to remove a large, dead White Cypress tree in our front yard. We also had him trim a large, out of control tree in my back yard. Diego called me back promptly when I first called to inquire about his services. Amazingly, he said he could fit me in the very next day. He arrived exactly when he said he would. Diego and his crew did a great job and once they left, you would not even have known they were there (except for the missing tree!). They respected my property and cleaned everything up before they left. Diego does what he promises he will do. He does it on time. He does great work. You can't beat that. Diego and his team have been doing various jobs for us for several years. After inquiring with a "certified arborist" to thin 7 large pine trees on our hill before El Nino hits, we chose to use Diego again because he told us exactly the same things about how it should be done as the double-the-price arborist. He and his team did a beautiful job at a reasonable and fair price and left with the hill fully cleaned up afterward. They even used the blower to make sure the trail to their trucks was clean. Other jobs Diego and his team have done for us over the past several years: Cut a large pine tree down Built railroad tie stairway up our steep hill Replaced our front lawn Took out a tree stump in the parkway that the City left Built a brick planter Planted a Chinese Pistache Concrete driveway extension We will continue to call on Green Crest for the outdoor needs we are not able to do ourselves. Great company and very tidy with their work. Highly recommend. read more

I was looking for someone to trim a huge magnolia tree that sheds thousands of leaves... I reached out to several Tree Services and Diego from Green Crest Tree Care was the only one who came out and looked at my issue. He was very nice and understood my concerns. I hesitated due to not working during this pandemic but decided to get it done as the leaves are so messy. Diego and his team came out and did a outstanding job timely, efficiently and clean, even removed leaves from my neighbor behind my backyard. I will be using this service for future services. Diego and his crew came down to the house and installed front and backyard green artificial gras which turned out amazing especially how the city doesn't allow us to water everyday so parts of our grass were dead, with patches of dirt throughout. After the new grass was installed they put rocks and pots and red wood chips in the planter areas and planted dessert plants so we just have to water once a week. We're excited that our toddler can now run around without getting dirty and it's so easy to upkeep now. Amazing work, wife and I are super happy! read more

I took lots of pictures so I can look back at this mess. They cleaned up everything. I would use them again. read more

I received 4 estimates for a tree removal job. Diego of Green Crest Tree Care was the 4th to come out and quote the job. He was the most positive and confident of the companies and also licensed, insured and reasonable. All three of the other companies grimaced at this huge pine tree with 4 major forks located at the top of a backyard slope and basically behaved as though they didn't really want the job. Not Diego. He was friendly and knew he and his crew could handle it, which they did, professionally, courteously and efficiently. I also had them thin an olive tree and remove a stump from my back yard and I am very pleased with the work they did on those projects as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Green Crest to anyone. (As a matter of fact, they were recommended to me from a smaller-scale tree removal company.)
