A truly excellent company. The owner David quoted us a fair price to cut down our two enormous eucalyptus trees. His guys showed up and did the job over a two day span. The team was professional, efficient and very friendly. David is an extremely friendly and respectful person. We were impressed by this company and will contract with them again and refer friends to them. Compared to other companies that quoted outrageous prices and exaggerated timelines to complete the job, Cali Green Tree Experts were a refreshing surprise. Unlike the other companies, we didn't feel like we were being ripped off or being played for fools. Cali has an honest and positive vibe. Therefore, I'm awarding them my highest recommendation. read more

I've used Cali Green Tree Expert twice as a real estate broker to help my clients with large tree-related jobs, and both experiences were excellent. They did a great job each time, offered very competitive pricing, and were professional, reliable, and easy to work with. The owner is also very kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I really appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and quality of work. I highly recommend Kelly Green Tree Expert to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled tree service company. read more

I had a super random tree in my backyard that was useless and completely dead. I wanted it fully removed and David came to take a look at it. He was able send his team over the next day to fully remove it and level out the dirt for me to place turf in that area. SUCH fast turn around, they were soo sweet and diligent. They even offered to clean up the majorly overgrown shrubs. I'm so, so satisfied with the experience and already have reached out again for other inquiries for my yard! 10/10!!!! read more

David was extremely friendly and professional. He responded quickly and was easy to communicate and work with. His crew did a great job. David Vinh, the owner of Cali Green Tree Experts knocked on my door so say that they were working on trees in the area and could offer a discount on my Magnolia tree in the front. I took the offer and they trimmed it. However, his workers stabbed their shoes or blades all along the trunk in order to climb it. It put the tree in to shock and now a once healthy Magnolia appears as if it is dying and is constantly dropping brown leaves from Spring to now Summer. When I reached out to David to find out what could be done he said he would come take a look when he was in the area - 3 weeks ago. He refuses to take responsibility and has not followed up. I would not recommend this company because they are a sales outfit that talk you up and then send different workers to do a poor job. read more

Cali Green Tree Experts - The only dying tree on the block after their workers stabbed the trunk to climb it - Tree Services Near Me

This was my first experience with Cali Green Tree Experts and I will definitely be a returning customer. David, owner, and crew set a high standard. I'm a very particular person and look at the fine details, they met them all. First, David listened to the style of tree trimming I was looking for... basically trim and enhance the beauty of the tree [not butcher], and that's exactly what was delivered. Both trees were decades old, a Eucalyptus and a Palo Verde. Trees look 'gorgeous' and airy while still have their natural design. My yard, front and back, were impeccably cleared of all debris, cuttings, etc. Well Done! Extremely happy customer. If David ever expands his business to also do gardening, I'll be the first to sign up. read more

Unsolicited door knocking I can't stand, I definitely hesitated on writing this but you came on to my property 4 times after being told "no" is wild. "No soliciting" signs mean nothing but it does let me know you and your workers can't follow simple directions. 4x is pretty ridiculous. I work early mornings, imagine trying to lay down and relax at 3p and someone door knocking you to make a commission. Harassed in my own home. Lmao. literally...give me a break, please I'm tired. read more

I would NEVER hire this company again. Bait and switch. Quote one price, then triple it the day they arrive. Destroyed one of my plants, and the owner won't even return any of our (my husband and I) calls to replace it. Also left my property incomplete with the promise to replace a bush they removed (we asked for it to be removed and said we would pay for a replacement bush - at our cost), but never responded to any of our calls. AND - one of his workers agreed to be our weekly lawn maintenance person, so we fired our gardener of 15+ years. Only to have this person (I will not name right now) pull a no show, but promised us weekly that he would show up. It's been one month. Left us high and try after trying to reach them for one month now. Both the owner and the worker. DAVID: Please call me if you'd like to resolve this issue, and I will change my review. We left you several voice messages. Thank you. read more

I had four big palm trees that were way overdue for a trim, and this crew did an amazing job! The price was very fair, and from start to finish they were super easy to work with. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. The crew of about five arrived right on time, got right to work, and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They were diligent, fast, and clearly experienced. What impressed me most was how thorough they were with the cleanup--by the time they left, you'd never know any trimming had been done except for the perfectly shaped palms. Not a single mess left behind. We gave them food and drinks, and I think they appreciated it. If you're looking for tree trimming, I can't recommend them enough. Great service, great people, and my palms look fantastic now! read more

David and his team did an amazing job trimming our giant tree. He's knowledgeable in identifying the type of tree and understanding how much to trim without damaging/killing the tree. We originally wanted to also cut off the top of the tree a bit, but he advised some potential negative effect. We appreciate his honesty and knowledge. The team cleaned up after themselves and left our backyard better than it was, even cleaning up the existing massive amount of leaves! Highly recommended, excellent quality of work, reasonable price, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. read more

David and his team did an incredible job on several very large pine trees, an olive tree and cut down a messy cherry laurel and ground out the stump. They also took back a hedge wall that had overgrown onto the sidewalk, which was not an easy task. I'm Very Pleased to Commend Arborist/Owner of Cali Green Tree, David Vinh, both: For his ability to immediately identify the 'Culprit' main branches of two trees at the front of our house which kept sprouting new shoots that consistently grew-back to shade that edge of our roof-top solar panels (and over-hang the wood Eave-Tails (which 'displeases' L.A. Co Fire Inspectors), and; For staying on-site to answer any questions by the Customer -- or his Quick & Efficient multi-man "Crew" -- to ensure that the trimming-, clearing# & chipping the 'troublesome' branches solved our issues. David is a pleasant & skilled Communicator, and his prices are FAIR (he even allowed me to split the Work Charge over 2 pay-periods, to go-easier on our 'Cash Flow'. THANK YOU, David ! read more

Number 1 - these gentlemen were beyond professional and thorough. With their team leader David, they trimmed my very tall Palm trees at a very reasonable price, quickly, and didn't leave a single extra leaf or branch behind. These guys are great. Professional, on time, reasonably priced and trustworthy. What more could you ask for from a business? Turning away more business /a larger job for the sole reason of protecting my fruit trees is something you don't get from everyone. Anyone can cut trees, it takes someone who knows what they're doing to do it right ... and in a way that is safe for your trees. Thank you! read more

Gave my husband an initial estimate that was lower at first than other companies, then asked for more on the day of the job and by that time felt pressured to move forward since we had taken time out of our schedule to be there for the work. Felt deceptive and won't use again. read more

It had been years since I had the beautiful trees on my property trimmed professionally. After a handful of negative experiences with other tree trimming services, I was hesitant to hire anyone else. Lady luck certainly turned my way this week. Tony courteously dropped by after spotting one of the dead trees in my front yard and offered his expertise. He provided an itemized quote for each of the projects I had in mind and was available immediately to start. Tony, David, and the rest of the crew arrived on time in the morning and worked seamlessly. The team has an artful eye and their efficiency and friendliness stood out. It is clear they take pride in the work they do and value customer satisfaction above all else. I ended up opting to have my entire property trimmed and I am thrilled with the results. David and his crew did an amazing job trimming our trees and bushes. We were concerned about the crepe Myrtle and the junipers on the property. We wanted them to be thinned out and airy. That's exactly what they did and the trees look great. Also, we had a sego palm that grew wildly and huge. His team cut that back and put the pups in smaller planters. Their price was fair and the crew arrived on time. David is pleasant to work with. Highly recommended. See you again next time! read more
