The leaves and debris was getting to be too much and so we wanted to get a significant trim. His crew rolled up and got to work immediately. They were incredibly efficient, respectful, and thorough. Every hour or so I would go to check on them and he would ask if I needed more off of each section, and he gave me plenty of commentary and advice on which parts to trim and which to leave (hehe) as is. They were in and out in a few hours and aside from some modest saw dust and a couple of little twigs, you would not know they were here! Highly recommend Miguel--he has 12 years in the business and this is his own company. His team is quick, efficient, professional, and did a fantastic job for us.

After…read morereceiving a threatening letter from my insurance company stating that my 72-year-old pine tree had to be professionally trimmed or my homeowner's policy would not be renewed, I spent several sleepless nights worrying. I had contacted other tree companies in the past, but none inspired enough confidence for me to trust them with such a large, mature tree. Then I remembered a flyer I received from Thrifty Tree Service and decided to make one more call. It turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Chris came to my home the very same day. He took the time to thoroughly explain exactly what work would be done and, most importantly, reassured me that my beautiful pine tree would not become dangerously top-heavy after trimming. His detailed explanation gave me confidence that no other company was able to provide. What impressed me even more was his professionalism. Before I had even returned to my computer after our meeting, Chris had already emailed me his California State Contractor's License, proof of Liability Insurance, a detailed written estimate outlining every aspect of the job, and an approval form for my signature. That level of organization and customer service is rare these days. On the day of the job, the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, treated my property with respect, and left everything spotless when they finished. The cleanup was every bit as impressive as the tree work itself. The transformation of my pine tree is incredible. It's healthier, beautifully shaped, insurance-compliant, and has become the envy of my entire neighborhood. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable, licensed, and highly professional tree service that truly puts customers first, I wholeheartedly recommend Thrifty Tree Service. They exceeded every expectation I had, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Five stars all the way!

Exceptional Expertise, Honesty, and Genuine Care!…read more I cannot thank Miguel enough for his incredible help and guidance! I was dealing with a severely stressed Mayten tree suffering from dense witches' broom growth and heavy leaf drop after a previous company over-pruned. Miguel took the time to review detailed photos of my tree, diagnose the root cause (severe shock from past over-trimming rather than a disease), and explain the exact physiological recovery plan. He gave me clear, actionable steps: resting the tree for 9-12 months, deep slow-trickle watering at the drip line, and a strategic plan for selective pruning down the road. It is so rare to find someone in tree care with his level of expertise, integrity, and genuine passion for tree health. Miguel has earned a client for life--I will never let anyone else touch my tree again! Highly, highly recommend!

They show up early to work hard, and clean up everything perfectly at the end of the job. But what stood out to me the most was how accommodating these guys are. After many attempts that felt like years, my mom finally decided on hiring Rancho Landscape And Tree Care to remove the ever-growing and messy jacaranda tree https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=8G8sM2jeE0Tx3eePtsIF1g at the side of the house. I decided to respond to a random junk text message that offered arborist services by a person named Ruby. Although my background was in advertising, marketing, and promotions, I was never a fan of this form of canvassing to reach an audience. However, in this case it seemed harmless enough to give them a shot. We normally worked with two other vendors for our landscaping needs, but my mom didn't like their estimates, and we also received a few other estimates, but again, the rate was too high for my mom's liking. How did this landscape and tree care company break through the clutter to get our business!? PURCHASE Tree Removal, Clean Up & Haul Away (Varied; $900.00 in this particular case): A gentleman named Felix came out the day before to do a job assessment after I was blindly and unsolicitedly contacted by a woman named Ruby via text message simply canvassing for potential business. With no set rate card, this solely depended on the extent of the job (i.e. amount, working area, etc.). In comparison with a couple other bids, they were lower which was the ultimate decision to go with them. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=NF7IDU5WuWEF_0nHq8jUqg Credit Card Fee 3.00% ($27.00): These days, this was a normal expense and part of doing business - c'est la vie. SERVICE A crew of three-five men arrived a bit past the scheduled appointment time in several vehicles followed by the large disposal truck with a wood chipper. We briefly discussed what needed to be done, they reassessed the job, and before I knew it chainsaws were buzzing and cranking away at a tree that had grown too close to the neighbor's property line, was now beyond my family's roof line, and consistently made a mess with its constant droppings of branches, flowers, and leaves. Like the story of David and Goliath, David triumphed again as multiple branches and its trunk cascaded and crashed to the earth one swipe at a time. Less than an hour later, the jacaranda tree had completely been chopped down, everything carted away, the entire surrounding area was cleaned up, and all that was left was a huge stump that had multiple cuts and a poison poured into each slice https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=5VJgUVuNFrojeOKDv-VkRA to prevent the tree from growing back. Pretty damn efficient if you asked me - great job! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=dfKWM_vWQFovB2YDVVSByA PARKING (N/A): Since their business was all about coming to your location, you had to make sure there was a convenient and sufficient space for them to park their vehicles to easily transport any/all trimmings - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE I believed they had an actual office, but that was rather inconsequential since the real place of business was at the property where the work was being done - 'nuff said! ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Rancho Landscape And Tree Care won our business solely based on price, and mom couldn't have been happier with the results. All communication (initially via text and then in-person) was easy, and the work crew was efficient, nice, respectful, and did a wonderful job cleaning up. Plus, I always preferred to support small mom & pop businesses whenever possible. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $927.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
