Supposed to remove dead wood from trees but left it. Cleaned up well Left site before reviewing trimming with customer. Appeared to just want to be in and out on a Friday and be done early. read more

If you want it done right, with attention to detail --There's no one better In LA then Kerry's TS. I should know. I have over 200 feet of mature 20+ feet tall cherry tree hedges around my home and beside my pool -And Kerry's has always delivered an immaculate job. From the bid, to the scheduling, to the trim, to the clean up --I've never been disappointed! And today, another quality Job well done! They had trimmed my property's trees in Calabasas for years in the past, and we had a hiatus for a time --Not because of quality, but I got a sweetheart deal from another area landscaper (who has since retired), and my first call back for service was to Kerry's -And they did not disappoint. If you need a quality job, and are detail oriented, and expect straight cuts, level hedges, and a professional job at a fair price --Like I said, They won't disappoint. Happy to offer this unsolicited review to help others who need to know they are hiring a quality company. Welcome to have you see the work at my home, if you ask them. Best Regards, Michael Wilson Calabasas read more

They trimmed our long over due palm tree and they did such a great job!! They gave more than a fair price and scheduled accordingly. They even call 30-40 minutes before arrival. The best part was the clean up!! We have a pool and as you can imagine a lot of debris fell into it. I just told myself that after they leave I'll take the skimmer and get it. When they left to my surprise they even did a quick clean up of the pool!!! I would recommend this company to all my friends and family!! read more

What a lovely experience. I called in and had a special request and they came thru! My seven year old boy got his model airplane stuck up on a 75 foot tree and they got it down without hassle. My boy was happy and I was glad Kerry's tree service did me right. You have 100 choices in a five mile radius of tree services, but when they do something like this you have to call them and they deliver. Call in ask for the owner Eran he will answer 24/7 Covid compliant and arborist certified. They accept American Express read more

Wanted to be sure to sing the praises of Kerry's tree service. This is our 4th year using them and I couldn't be happier!!! They send an arborist out to do the bids every year to make sure everything is current. Mike Gallagher is a sweetheart and so knowledgble. This year I asked for a special favor to do a portion of our job at the last minute and they were so accomodating. I love that Mike is such a hands on part of the team. We have used several other tree services over the years, and Kerry's does an amazing job every time!!! read more

Professional prompt and reasonably priced. Mike was on site directing his crew as they trimmed our three large magnolias. I appreciated the office staff with their courteous service as well. And they care about our trees' health. Gave great advice on options of trimming vs removing. Very patient with us while we decided best choice. read more

We loved Kerry's tree service. We got three quotes to remove a large decaying sycamore from our steep back hill that was overhanging our downhill neighbors' property. Kerry's was by far the cheapest at $1,500 (compared to $2,000 and $3,800). I was very happy to learn they came in so low, since Kerry's had by far the best reviews I'd seen on Angie's list, and among the best reviews I've seen on Yelp. The reviews were well-deserved. They arrived as scheduled at 7:30am and were finished by 11am. They were friendly, responsive, quick, easy, efficient, clean, and respectful of our neighbors. I'm not even sure how they finished so fast. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them strongly to others without hesitation. read more

Mike communicated his availability and worked with us to find a date and time that would work for his assessment of our tree. When he evaluated the tree, he asked a number of questions to better determine what factors might be causing its current condition, and then recommended an applications arborist as the tree needed care outside the scope of what Kerry's Tree Service provides. When I prepared to pay him for his visit, he declined payment even though he had made the trek from the San Fernando Valley to our home on the Westside. He is knowledgeable, very helpful, and I highly recommend him and the company he represents. (and he was very kind to our aging labrador as well, who loved him...) read more

We called Kerry's because we have a huge tree in our backyard that we thought was going to damage our house. I was prepared for a bill of thousands of dollars. Aaron came out and very HONESTLY told us that it wasn't a threat to our house. Very glad that there are still businesses out there with INTEGRITY. Very happy with this business and will call them out for any future issues. Thank you Kerry's! read more

This might be the 4th time we used their service to trim our mock plum on the walkway.Always a great job and you get used to their great service and clean up.This time it was also the Carrotwood tree in the west facing back yard.To us it was getting too large and brushing wires but it was also the shade tree in the brutal summer months. The service trimmed it inside and out and reshaped it to look magnificent, this is the wife's relaxation tree to look at and meditate. They did a GREAT job. read more

Horrible experience. Guys came out at 10 15 to cut off a couple dead branches. 11 15 or so it is all quiet. I looked outside and see a guy on the cement. After overthinking, I thought maybe the guy fell and I need to call 911. I quietly open the door and the guy is asleep. His partner is outside in front in the shade asleep too. Over an hour later they are up working. Now I just had a couple of dead branches on one tree to deal with. They were also supposed to deal with some fire blight on another tree. They didn't do they completely. The guy sprays his tree trimmer with Lysol spray. He cuts off the diseased small branches after asking me if I wanted to do the trimming. I said that is why you are here is to do the trimming as I cannot do it. Four hours from when they arrived they leave. 4 hours to do the job. Luckily I took photos off the sleeping workers. I e mailed the company and got an apology and they waived the cost. I was going to use them for other work but nope. Don't recommend them. read more

Danny, Milton, and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job! Highly recommend - thank you so much!

We needed some small trees removed that were pushing over a fence, and multiple other trees needed trimming on our property. From the moment I met with Mike, all the through the bid and the job itself and clean up, this was the best experience I've ever had with an Arborist and tree trimming service. Mike and his guys were knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. Simply put, they were amazing ! I highly recommend Kerry's Tree Service and will be doing so to everyone I know who would need tree trimming and/or an Arborist.. We will definitely be using them again ! read more

I have a very over-grown Ash tree that had not been trimmed in years and was hanging over my neighbor's house. I explained the situation and that I needed it cut back as far as possible without killing the tree. They totally got my situation and were very accommodating. On the day of the work, they sent a huge crew, who were all very nice. I asked if we could save any firewood (we love camping), and they made a nice huge pile of perfect firewood. The best part was they totally cleaned the worksite up, including tons of dead leaves. I have used other trimmers here and there, but the Kerry crew really went above and beyond my expectations. read more

They did a nice job on our neighbors overgrown trees but left branch debris on our hill, even though they were allowed on our property to clean up. While they did clean 90% of the debris that dropped on our property, they left one large piece of tree trunk they got stuck in the fence, and several large branches were left on top of our hill. We had to pay extra to our regular gardening crew for time to clean and CUT UP the debris they left on our property. It filled our large yard can and then some. Had we noticed this before they left, we would have asked them to clean it all up and remove the trunk they stuck in the fence. If using them, please ask them to respect your neighbors property a bit better. read more

These guys were great. Friendly and communicative to work with. We had a good-sized job with a tight external deadline, and they managed to squeeze it in their schedule. Perfect job, no issues, and they stacked the wood some distance away and did a perfect clean-up. The clean-up is important, there was sawdust and debris everywhere before they cleaned it up. read more

They are a fine company as far as their work. The are not favorable to wildlife. Cut down a tree with baby birds in it and when asked lied and said the nest was empty. Did sit well with me about the lie. Understand they need the job but....if things like that don't bother you the I am sure they are fine. read more

Excellent tree removal service company. We had a huge job to remove many trees and trim others. Mike came out and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and the price was fair. What an amazing team... I work with many amazing Contractors and Kerry's Tree Service deserves every star they got. From the initial call to Susan and meeting up with Scott, this is a class act organization. Kerry's Tree Service has performed excellent work when I have hired them on more than one occasion. Each time, I've found Kerry's team to be professional... from the time of creating the estimate and providing suggestions, through cleaning up when completing a job. Kerry's has pruned and shaped trees for me. Kerry's has also removed dead shrubs and trees completely, at my request. They use a stump grinder, after removal, to ensure that plants or trees can be planted later in the same location. Healthy, shapely trees are a boon to the community and I'm grateful to be able to call upon capable Kerry's for maintenance needs.. highly recommend this experienced, conscientious company. read more

I needed to trim a tree and cut one down, I called several places. I ended up going with Kerry's. They were priced competitively and the guy who did the quote was fast and courteous, which is a big deal for me. They said they would be there at 730am and they WERE! They had a crew of 3 and had all the work done and TOTALLY cleaned up the mess. Very pleased with their work and happily recommend them. Way to go guys, you did great work. After reading some of the other posts, I would like to state that I know no one personally or professionally at this company. it was a random company that I chose to use. Also, they parked in front of the house for the time they were there, I suggest that you check with your HOA if you have rules you must follow. I paid by check, but I asked about payment prior to them doing the work, so I had no issues there. read more

I hired Kerry's Tree service to trim a large tree and a smaller one in the backyard. I figured they'd do that and be out but they went above and beyond and trimmed all the little bushes under the tree and left the large tree looking awesome. I was really concerned because the palm tree above it was dropping alot of palm fronds so imagine this canopy of palm fronds 30 feet high just ready to fall down and hit somebody, like my girlfriend or one of my tenants or last but not least, me ! Now I feel way better and when I walk down the walkway to my place I can't help but look up and feel good about my decision to hire Kerry's Tree service. Mike was the estimator and he's a class act. Hats off to Mike and his crew. read more

Five Stars is not enough for this professional Tree Trimming Service! First of all, owner is a certified arborist, so he is incredibly knowledgeable about trees, types, when is the best time to trim which type of tree, which trees may have invasive roots so may not be a good idea to plant close to a home, etc. His work and workers were very professional, and left my yard, and my neighbor's yard spotless after removing 4 HUGE Italian cypress trees, and his prices were very reasonable. I cannot recommend Corey Ray and Hi Company, Kerry's Tree Service highly enough. read more

Way overdue review for Kerry's tree service -- I won't ever let any other company or individual near my trees. Have used Kerry's Tree service for over 10 years now. Once a year they come out to do my 4 Hong Kong Orchid trees ---- Total pros and each year as these artists continue to prune and shape the growing trees, the trees look better and better. --- Susan who runs the office is great with friendly up to date communications. The guys that come out have a great upbeat attitude and as hard of work as it is, they enjoy the job and like using their skills to prune trees properly. They take pride in their work (what a concept nowadays!) --- Prices are super reasonable, only having raised mine by just a tad in 10 years (unheard of). It's most appreciated ---- Sure, for a $100 bucks or so you can hire a guy with a chainsaw and a pick-up truck who left his card on your doorstep....you'll be sorrrrrry. --- As you drive around town, note the number of trees that have what arborists call the dreaded "Atlas's Fist" (Clench your hand in a fist and pretend lots of little plant shoots coming out of it) In most cases this can't be fixed and on an almost daily bases I see trees newly so-called pruned that have been destroyed, and it really breaks your heart when you see a majestic tree that has been around since the 1960's or 70's and in one fell swoop it's destroyed by some grab the check and run yo-yo (also hurting your property value, not to mention pissing off your neighbors) - Can't recommend this company enough. Old school method of honest business practices, fair prices and top quality workmanship and knowledge. read more

I have been using Kerry's Tree Service since 2011. They are highly knowledgeable and professional always performing an outstanding job. They are my go to guys when it comes to keeping the trees on my property and my rental in tip top shape! read more

Followup March 2018: I am happy to report that when I brought the problems with the July 2017 service (see below) to the attention of general manager Jim Avery, he took care of replacing the mulch that had been blown away. I appreciate him working with me to resolve the situation to my satisfaction. Kerry's tree service (Scott Rogers, foreman) trimmed my trees in July 2017. They did a decent job of trimming my trees... unfortunately, they WRECKED much of the rest of my landscaping. They also refused to cut the vines off of the phone and cable TV wires (even though they're NOT dangerous power wires), and I had to have another tree company come out and do that. I had asked him to please be careful of my plants and he had said they would do their best. But they just TRAMPLED through my ground cover instead of going two feet out of their way to avoid it, and they completely wrecked it. Worst of all, my yard had been covered with a beautiful, soft, fragrant bark mulch that I had handsomely paid a landscaper to install when I'd had my grass removed, plus a nice layer of eucalyptus leaves in the north yard and pine needles in the south yard. . It was beautiful, it looked like a forest floor. After trimming the trees, they took out their blowers to 'clean up'. When I went out to take a look when they were finished, I couldn't believe my eyes - they had BLOWN AWAY ALL MY BARK MULCH, leaving nothing but bare ground and the sharp seed pods that fall from the eucalyptus trees (which are too heavy for the blowers to move). I asked Scott "WHY DID YOU BLOW AWAY ALL MY MULCH?" And he had the nerve to BLAME IT ON ME: he just said, "Well, I wish you had said something before." Seriously? After all these years of people removing their lawns, they don't know there's such a thing as bark mulch?? He didn't take any responsibility, didn't apologize, didn't offer to replace it. Very careless and unprofessional. Also, they had knocked things over while carelessly dragging out branches, and as they were leaving, I noticed the top of my little folding table was missing. I pointed it out; again, Scott denied responsibility and insisted, "It must have been like that." But I asked the workers to please look for it, and they did find it in their trash and bring it back to me (no thanks to Scott). They would have thrown it out if I hadn't asked for it! If you have nothing but trees and concrete, they would probably do fine. But if you have any plants in your yard, I recommend you try BLOCKING IT OFF with hazard tape to try to keep them from trampling it! And if you have any mulch, be sure to ask them in advance NOT TO BLOW IT AWAY! read more

Great group of people. Very Honest and knowledgeable. They do a great job and the cleanup is superb.

Good Service. I'd use them again. They did make a mistake but willingly fixed it well. Good pricing and they had good follow up . Good job.

Kerry's Tree Service - Our Podocarpus tree beautifully taken care of by Kerry's Tree Service for the past 8 years. - Tree Services Near Me - Chatsworth, California

Contacted Kerry's based on positive reviews on Nextdoor and so glad I did. Mike came for appraisal and gave me me a reasonable (considering their creds) quote for pruning/trimming two trees, one of which was super gnarly, overgrown, and caught up in powerlines and other trees. I didn't want to mess around since the gnarly tree affected two of my neighbors and was also damaging a shared wall. Milton and his team were timely, efficient and skilled. Ended up taking the gnarly tree down to its trunk at the last minute and got it done for a reasonable extra charge. They got the job done in just 3 hours including leaving the yard cleaner than before they got there! Kerry's is also licensed, insured and bonded. AND they're certified arborist, not just landscapers, so they know what they're doing. Recommended! read more

Spoke to five different tree service companies. Went with Kerry's since they have three Arborists so I felt like they would know what they were doing. Their price was about $700 less than competitors (it was a big job so they gave a discount). Everything went smoothly. Trees look great and they shredded a large pile of debris for me as well. Will use again and have recommended to friends already. read more
