We have used Trees 'N Things several times and they've been great. Diane in the office kept us well informed on the scheduling. The crew was punctual and wasted no time in completing the job. They checked if I wanted any changes with the trimming and did a thorough job cleaning up. read more

We've used Trees 'N Things for several years. They quote fair, competitive prices, and they're professional, reliable, on time, and most important to me, they work SAFEly. They are also thoughtful about leaving a clean work site and very efficient. I'm sure there are many "tree trimmers" out there who will come out and quote a great price; but my guess is not all are licensed, insured, or have the right equipment or experienced personnel. Tree trimming is a high hazard business and using the right qualified company, like Trees 'N Things, is extremely important to me. Hats off to Nic and Enzo for handling the visit and quote, Diane for her courteous office support, and Saul for his safe supervision of the work. read more

It's that time of year again, and unless I want my backyard to look like a jungle, I have to get all my trees and plants cut back. Trees N Things did such a great job last year I called them again. Obviously other people know they do great work because I had a six week lead time from when Nick came out to estimate my job and when they could do the work. The wait is worth it. Just like last year, they skillfully trimmed my 25+ foot ficus trees, my overgrown carrotwood, and my Birds of Paradise(s) while always considering how the finished product will look. They showed up promptly at 7:30am (yikes) with a crew of ~15 guys. They knocked out the whole job in ~2.5 hours which blew my mind. Nick and Enzo (and their crew) have phenomenal knowledge of trees -- what they are, how they grow, etc. Call these pros...better yet, call them now and book for next year well in advance. Special thank you to Diane for being helpful and friendly! read more

I just had a tree trimming done for my house. 10 guys came in with 5 trucks. It was like a watching a magic show. They were so fast and finished the big job in 3 hours. My backyard looks like a resort again. If I can I would love to give more than 5 stars. Excellent job, crazy fast, very responsive and they had the best price. I highly recommend this business. I would use them again and recommend to my family and friends. read more

Fantastic job! Very fast, efficient and friendly workers. Got a large job done in half the scheduled time. So glad I found them.

Five stars isn't enough! Tree's N Things are legitemately one of the best vendors I have ever worked with and their work is super high quality. They really care about the trees themselves and have an artist's eye in attention to detail and shape of the trees. Their work honestly speaks for itself but their whole team is also courteous and super professional. Nick and Enzo are both great to work with and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. If you need tree care for personal or commercial jobs, these guys are seriously the best. read more

Highly recommend!!! We are a large HOA with a lot of very tall trees and they always meet or exceed our expectations! They arrive on time and do a great job of cleaning up all the debris. Owners are very nice too!!! read more

Thanks to Ray and his amazing crew for helping us with all of our plant trimming needs. We have been using their service for over 7 years now and they never disappoint! Reliable quality service and with their certified arborist credentials we always know we are getting expert advice without the aggressive sales pitch. Thanks again for your fast efficient service to keep the overgrown trees and plants cut back during this hot fire hazard month. We are so grateful! read more

I had a 100 year old Tree that is a protected tree. I could not leave this job to an amateur as preservation was of the highest consideration. Trees and things brought a pro team, and did an absolute excellent job. I had other trees on the property and they were very honest about what did and did not need trimming as well. I'd give 10 stars if I could....they were that good! read more

Great job! Trees look great! Would highly recommend their services. The pricing is fair

We needed to remove a couple of small palm trees. Nick and Diane were really friendly, responsive, and provided great service. They gave an honest assessment of what could be done and completed the job soon after. We would highly recommend Trees N Things! read more

It's our condo's fault for hiring them but they came into my patio and took my iron chair, put it in the only flowerbed on top of my ranuculas and bouganvilla, and then put a huge bag of dirt on top of it! They are unsuited to work in a gardened home environment--DO NOT HIRE If you have to for some reason, insist on a warning before they come so they can be supervised. EDIT while I appreciate the response, since this is the second time this company has without permission messed with my plants and patio, I feel compelled to wait until they come again to see if their work ethic has improved. read more

My neighbor was getting his tree trimmed, they parked and blocked the driveway, when asked to move the chipper & truck, I was verbally and physically assaulted by an employee. I was punched in the face, had to call police, and file assault charges. STAY CLEAR, VIOLENT EMPLOYEES.. There are plenty of kind, hard working, polite companies to choose from.. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH THESE GUYS. We had a beetle infestation on two of our large evergreen trees, but the trees survived after treatment and needed trimming. We had 5 huge evergreen trees all together, two of which were brown and dead at the way top. These trees are beautiful, old and very tall. And we love them. The company who treated our diseased trees recommended Trees 'N Things. They came out and gave us an estimate. There are no bargains when having large trees trimmed, and we wanted a professional company. This outfit is ultra professional. They came with top notch equipment, huge trucks and a full team of men in company shirts and hardhats. They worked in teams. They did a great job. the trees look great, and they cleaned up every leaf and branch that had been cut. We were very happy with their work and will definitely use them again in the future! read more

Trees 'N Things is a skilled & family-owned business. The owner is an arborist! And the crew makes sure to watch for birds' nests and avoid cutting them down and also knows about migratory birds--which makes me feel better about the whole tree trimming process! In order to get a good cost estimate, they'll come out to you to assess your property. My friend had his backyard done and it went from a jungle to a well-groomed property with plenty of visibility of their pup who runs around it. Overall, I"d recommend working with them! read more

Trees N Things has been pruning my trees for some 30 years. The team is perfectly choreographed so there are multiple assignments working at the same time. They are in and out quickly. Tree service from Trees N Things was completed last week. I found the recommendation on Yelp and I was first impressed with Nick the arborist who came out last month to give me a quote. The 50ft tall Western sycamore was long overdue for a trimming as well as a smaller Chinese Elm in the backyard. Also in the backyard was a Mesquite that had grown into the power lines and a Tree of Heaven growing in the fence and the power lines, and a dead Loquat, all removed. They arrived at 9:30am, (having given a window of 9-Noon) With all the equipment and a crew of 12. They were done with the work and finished by sweeping up the debris by 11:30am. They were friendly, helpful, and efficient. They did not argue, when I didn't want the blower used in the backyard clean up, but picked up the broom and swept it all up. When I wanted a couple of blocks from one of the trunks to use in the yard, they cut them cleanly and asked for my approval. They were careful of the other trees and plants in the yard, creating protective barriers when appropriate. They were courteous to my neighbors, and made sure that their yards were clean as well. When trimming the trees along the back fence they didn't drop a single limb into the neighbor's yard. Adept and acrobatic they really did an amazing job. I chose Trees N Things after the quote, because they showed me a before and after photo of a previous client's Western Sycamore and it was lovely work. I was not about to let anyone just wack and hack on the Queen of our yard, as I had seen other services do in the neighborhood. In talking to the crew this morning, their goal is to leave the tree aesthetically pleasing and if you didn't know what it looked like before, you might not notice it had been trimmed, it's just much healthier. It is exactly what I wanted and what they delivered today. I even noticed that the hummingbird nest is still hanging in the tree. I highly endorse Trees N Things, from beginning to end the service has been extraordinary. read more

We have a giant Mulberry Tree in our backyard that SCE had trimmed in half. Nick and his crew came over on time and were able to sculpt my tree back to a more proportional shape. They were very careful not to break my wire lights I had hanging from the tree to my patio. Afterwards they cleaned up all the leaves and branches that had fallen to the ground. The lead guy came and got me to make sure the backyard was to my satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again! read more
