(Serviced 03/27/2026 FR @ 12:00pm): These landscapers took expeditious care of my family's tree needs! After many attempts that felt like years, my mom finally decided on hiring Rancho Landscape And Tree Care to remove the ever-growing and messy jacaranda tree https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=8G8sM2jeE0Tx3eePtsIF1g at the side of the house. I decided to respond to a random junk text message that offered arborist services by a person named Ruby. Although my background was in advertising, marketing, and promotions, I was never a fan of this form of canvassing to reach an audience. However, in this case it seemed harmless enough to give them a shot. We normally worked with two other vendors for our landscaping needs, but my mom didn't like their estimates, and we also received a few other estimates, but again, the rate was too high for my mom's liking. How did this landscape and tree care company break through the clutter to get our business!? PURCHASE Tree Removal, Clean Up & Haul Away (Varied; $900.00 in this particular case): A gentleman named Felix came out the day before to do a job assessment after I was blindly and unsolicitedly contacted by a woman named Ruby via text message simply canvassing for potential business. With no set rate card, this solely depended on the extent of the job (i.e. amount, working area, etc.). In comparison with a couple other bids, they were lower which was the ultimate decision to go with them. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=NF7IDU5WuWEF_0nHq8jUqg Credit Card Fee 3.00% ($27.00): These days, this was a normal expense and part of doing business - c'est la vie. SERVICE A crew of three-five men arrived a bit past the scheduled appointment time in several vehicles followed by the large disposal truck with a wood chipper. We briefly discussed what needed to be done, they reassessed the job, and before I knew it chainsaws were buzzing and cranking away at a tree that had grown too close to the neighbor's property line, was now beyond my family's roof line, and consistently made a mess with its constant droppings of branches, flowers, and leaves. Like the story of David and Goliath, David triumphed again as multiple branches and its trunk cascaded and crashed to the earth one swipe at a time. Less than an hour later, the jacaranda tree had completely been chopped down, everything carted away, the entire surrounding area was cleaned up, and all that was left was a huge stump that had multiple cuts and a poison poured into each slice https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=5VJgUVuNFrojeOKDv-VkRA to prevent the tree from growing back. Pretty damn efficient if you asked me - great job! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=dfKWM_vWQFovB2YDVVSByA PARKING (N/A): Since their business was all about coming to your location, you had to make sure there was a convenient and sufficient space for them to park their vehicles to easily transport any/all trimmings - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE I believed they had an actual office, but that was rather inconsequential since the real place of business was at the property where the work was being done - 'nuff said! ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Rancho Landscape And Tree Care won our business solely based on price, and mom couldn't have been happier with the results. All communication (initially via text and then in-person) was easy, and the work crew was efficient, nice, respectful, and did a wonderful job cleaning up. Plus, I always preferred to support small mom & pop businesses whenever possible. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $927.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS read more

Felix and his team were exceptional... Fair estimate on removal a huge grove of bamboo. I also asked him while his team was removing bamboo, if they could trim a few trees he had no problem with trimming them while still here taking out the bamboo. I happened to see a Rancho Landscape And Tree crew randomly, at work. I drove back by after they finished and saw what a great job they'd done. I stopped, introduced myself and got a business card. The phone call was pleasant, professional, and friendly. Today was the big day! I'm completely satisfied with the crews service, the estimate was met, reasonable price, and I highly recommend Rancho Landscape And Tree Care. read more

We had a lot of work done to our yard. They were quick, professional, and cleaned up perfectly. I would highly recommend this company!!

They caused damage to my girlfriend's car and the manager is negligent in his duties and responsibilities (Israel, that's you!). Israel is saying that his guys didn't cause the damage but it's so laughable because when I STOPPED THEM from trimming to ask who was in charge or where their manager was, they had no clue! It took them 15 minutes to find wherever he was. After speaking with him, just now getting off the phone, he wants me to take them to small claims court to press charges for the damage. So that's what I'll do since he wants to waste everyone's time instead of just settling the issue and fixing the damage that they are liable for. I'll also be leaving this review to warn everyone to stay away from their company. You guys suck when it comes to accountability. On top of that, their tree trimming was horrible! I mean some of the trees are absolutely destroyed. read more

We hired Rancho Tree Care as recommended in Yelp by several customers. We could not be more pleased. The team was right on time this morning, very focused and professional. The trimmers up in the trees took care of every detail. The owner, Felix Sr. was on site as well. They trimmed our trees, both in the front and the backyard. Our trees never looked better! Rancho was affordable, compared to other local quotes and left our yard all cleaned up. We highly recommend Rancho Tree Care. We will see them next year! 5 stars! read more

company over promises and under delivers. Bait and switch. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. Rancho was hired at the daily rate. The crew showed up almost an hour late, took an extended 1 1/2 hour lunch. Then packed everyone up and left before 3:30pm. only work about six total hours. Left a pile of wood, did not finish the tree trimming or cleanup, found numerous Modelo beer cans in my trash and behind the playhouse, crew left a pile of branches at the bottom of the hill in my back yard. Complained to the office. "Junior", the owner wouldn't even call to discuss. read more

Fantastic experience!! Called them for a quote, they came out the next day, gave us a reasonable price. We scheduled them, they were on time and did a beautiful job with all of our trees. I needed to have 10 fully mature Italian cypress trees removed from my side yard. After living with them for more than 20 years, the mess they made became intolerable. They don't produce pine needles, tiny granules that cover the walkway and clog gutters. But no more! I asked for and got several bids. While not the lowest bidder, I was impressed with the owner's (Felix, Sr.) expertise and his many years in the business. I expected the job to take 2 days, but they showed up at 7:30 am and worked until 4:00 pm when lead man Jose called to say the were finished. Everything was cleaned up and several tons of logs and debris were gone. I could not have been more pleased. I'd be proud to recommend them to anyone who needs tree work done. read more

Rancho Tree Care is a true arborist, not just tree cutters. Bonus: the crew is top-notch, the work is solid, and the whole experience was completely stress-free. Rancho Tree Service earned this one. I had a few trees that were getting out of hand. I've had them cut before, but I wasn't 100% happy. I called around, and when I spoke with Rancho, they came out the same day, provided a quote with no hard sell. They showed up on time, gave me a fair quote, and got to work a couple of days later. The crew was super friendly, clearly knew what they were doing, and didn't waste time. What I appreciated most? They cleaned up like pros. You wouldn't even know a crew had been there, except now my yard looks way better, and that pine tree won't shade my pool at 2 pm. If you need tree work without feeling like your trees will be butchered or you're paying too much, I highly recommend using Rancho Tree Care. read more

These folks handled a good sized job in my large yard with many trees and hedges. When they were done, all the tree work was great, but I felt they hadn't done what I wanted on a 90-foot hedge. Apparently they and I had a misunderstanding of what I wanted. I called them. There was no argument, no bickering--the next day a crew came out and fixed the hedge to my satisfaction. I was very pleased and impressed with their integrity! I give them an A+, 5 stars, 110% and my thanks and endorsement. I highly recommend them and definitely will call them next time I need tree work. Thumbs up to Junior and your crew! And thanks! read more

They did an amazing job trimming all my trees and bushes that had taken over my yard. They went above and beyond. Reasonable pricing.

I never usually do not write reviews. However, I was so blown away by Rancho Tree that I felt compelled to do so. They were punctual, easy to talk to, and followed all of my requests. The trimming was done with great care, and was perfect. They did trees in the front and a very large Ficus hedge (25 ft tall and 80 ft long) in the back yard. Leaves and branches everywhere; but their cleanup was meticulous, not a leaf left on the deck or in the pool. All in all, the price was extremely fair, and you need not look any further. They are the greatest!. read more

Great service and fair prices! Needed 3 trees to get pruned and the branches of my neighbors tree to get cut back to the property line. They were easy to communicate with. Came out to take a look and gave me a quote fairly quickly. They were very knowledgeable and offered advice. Sure, you can probably find someone who would do it for cheaper but wouldn't do what's best for your trees health and would probably cost you more in the long run. When they were done, they left everything clean. If you need tree service, give them a call! read more

Junior and his team did an amazing trimming our bird of paradise trees in our new home. They were starting to tilt and they were shedding a lot and having moved into a home from a condo we did not know what to do. Junior came out to give us a quote and his very reasonable. Junior gave us two options to remove just the heads or to do a full cleaning. We decided to go with the full clean-up because in the long run it would be less maintenance and more cost effective. Rancho Tree Care are experts in their field, and that is why I chose them. They arrived early in the morning and were able to remove a tree stump and trim our hedges all very quickly along with giving our tree a beautiful makeover. It is literally day and night. read more

Yelp reviews didn't fail me on this one. Believe the reviewers and believe me when I say that Rancho is amazing. I inherited two gigantic Magnolia trees when I bought my house in Burbank last Fall. They hadn't been thinned or trimmed in over a decade and there was a lot to do. I was nervous it was going to cost a fortune, but the team from Rancho came out and scheduled the service for the following morning. They came with three trucks, eight men, and did the job in two hours flat. The price was right, the service and communication was excellent. I'll be calling them again for the next service. read more

Our new house came with a MASSIVE tree in the front yard. I don't even know what kind of tree it is, just that it's like a million feet tall. We've only lived here for a few months and any amount of wind or rain causes rather large branches to fall into our yard. We were worried about a bigger storm causing more damage so we contacted a few tree care companies for estimates on trimming this behemoth. Rancho Tree Care came out for an in-person estimate, really understood the scope of the work, and had competitive pricing. We decided to schedule with them and they were available just a few days later. Their crew showed up on time and began work when they said they would. Our giant tree looks so much healthier and we are excited to see how she fills out in the spring. Working with Rancho Tree Care could not have been easier and they provided quality work. Highly recommend! read more

All I can say about Rancho Tree Care is WOW! JR came out the next day to give us a quote. He kept in touch and was very persistent about getting our business which is a huge plus for us. We are building an ADU in our back yard so we needed a 65' pine tree totally removed, and a podocarpus tree as well, stumps and all. They also thinned out 3 other podocarpus trees and cut all of the deadwood off of our jacaranda tree all for the price of just removing the two trees. Junior said they would have it done in a day which I was skeptical about but low and behold, they made it happen. The entire crew came masked up and were all personable. My mom and I watched these guys work all day from 7:30am to 6 pm with only a 30 minute lunch break. I would definitely recommend Rancho Tree Care for all of your tree care needs and any removal as well. Thanks Rancho for a wonderful experience. We will only be using you for our future tree care needs. read more

Junior walked the property ( Approx 1acre front and back) suggested I hire them for a 1day service to trim trees. The men did a very good job, however at the end of the day there were three trees untrimmed . When I pointed this out to the person in charge, he said that's a whole additional days work! that's not what Junior represented during his interview. Junior then responded he only offered to trim what trees he could complete in one day, not what he implied to me! When confronted with this incomplete days work, he simply stated that's all they could complete in one day. Had he indicated that the job might not be completed in one day, I may have accepted, but he never mentioned they might not complete in one day.........very disappointed and certainly not happy! Make sure the job description is clearly outlined. read more

Really good service. They were working across the street and they did a cold call after observing my over grown eucalyptus tree. I will call them again! read more

Junior is the best. We we had some huge arbor vitaes that were dying one by one, was blowing debris into our neighbor's yard, and more arbor vitaes that could use some trimming in the back. We got a quote from another company that quickly looked around and gave us a pretty good price without much explanation. Junior was recommended to us from our cousins and we gave him a call. He came over, walked around, and explained to us what was happening - the trees were dying since there was a bug problem, and it wouldn't be soon before long that they made their way down the line. He asked us what we were looking for, what our budget was, and mainly just showed sincere and genuine care of what was in our budget and what we really wanted. Although our budget was initially much smaller, his suggestions as a tree care expert made sense in the long term and he gave us an amazing price to remove the trees and the stumps as well as tree trimming... the NEXT day. It was crazy. Would 10000000% recommend Junior and the guys at Rancho Tree Care - straight up good people who do good work. read more
