Short review since we've used Juan and his crew before. Again; super professional, do the job right, fit our budget and when they're finished you'd never know they were here because they leave no footprints. This round Juan and his team took care of several 30+ foot trees that needed some TLC and they got that and more. Very happy with the work and the cost for work done. Highly recommended! read more

We use Reyes Tree Service to cut all of the trees and hedges at our house. They have now come out 4 times. The whole team is courteous and they do an incredible job! We have an alley behind our house and they go on that side of the wall to ensure that our large hedge is trimmed on all sides. We've had other companies come out who have not done that. Honestly, they're also just really nice people who we enjoy working with. The cost is always fair too. We've had other companies come out to quote us and Reyes is always been the most affordable. I really could not recommend them more. read more

Had a large tree removed and they did an excellent job which included getting rid of the trunk and a lot of roots. Very satisfied.

Highly recommend Reyes Tree Service, Juan's team did an amazing job. We had 4 trees trimmed; 3 of those trees had split trunks of 3 or more. Two were well over 80 feet on a hillside. They cleaned up after themselves very well; and were accommodating to all my questions and ask while they worked. Well valued. read more

Reyes tree services just finished preparing my hillside and trees for the summer and they once again did a terrific job! This is the third year Reyes has worked on my property and I feel so fortunate to know such a professional and knowledgeable team. Thank you!! read more

the Reyes Tree company removed a large cedar tree and trimmed 2 other trees, one large and one small. Removing the stump of the cedar required (probably) hours of intense labor. They then planted 4 small trees in its place. The shaping of the 2 other trees was very important to us. They were beautifully shaped -I would even say "artistically". Communication with the owner was excellent at all times and each of the workers were a pleasure to meet. The cleanup was perfect and even down to a small detail that we didn't spot until the last minute, after the last 2 men had gotten in their trucks. They were very helpful and have a great attitude. We are grateful. Five Stars! read more

This company puts out their marketing cards in our street often. I've seen my neighbors use them to trim trees. My next door neighbor recently hired them to cut and trim several trees on her property. A few of them bordered our property line. I gave them access to our side yard the first day. The second day, they helped themselves to our backyard without permission. My neighbor texted me to ask but saw it after they were already inside. They did not tell us that they would be throwing cut branches on our side of the property. Not only that, they failed to cover and protect our plants. Two of which were 4-year old dwarf lemon and lime trees that just started bearing fruits this year. They also knocked out two of our lampposts. We asked them to stop and protect our plants when we saw them throwing things on our side but it was too late at that point. They did not acknowledge responsibility. Just left without saying anything. Discovered the other damages after they were already gone. I called their office and reported the issue. The owner came by. He was friendly, said he'll pay for the damage lampposts and replace one of the fruit trees but never did. read more

I had Reyes Tree Services come out to trim some property-wide ficus hedging and cut back a jacaranda tree in the yard. The whole team worked efficiently all day, and they were very communicative throughout the process. Juan knew his stuff when it came to the different species on the property and explained what to expect, which I appreciated. The team even left the yard looking better than when they showed up! I'll definitely be using Reyes again. read more

Today Juan Reyes and his team are trimming our beautiful pepper trees, pine and others--for the third time in five years. Each time they grow back even more glorious, and the team's work is expert, organized and professional. Cleanup is meticulous. Juan's been doing this his whole life and it shows. His reverence for our pepper trees spoke volumes to his level of care. Pricing is fair and competitive. My highest recommendation. read more

I've been working with Reyes Tree Services for years now. They removed a jakaranda tree, and replaced it with a carrot wood tree. And now that carrot wood has grown that needs to be trimmed down. Again their quote is very reasonable. read more

Bar none Juan and his crew are the best Tree Service team around. Juan is very knowledgeable when it comes to all the home owner insurance policies regarding "defense space" requirements and his team completed a very large job that consisted of removing 5 large trees, and pruning and additional 20 , hillside clearance in only 4 days compared to his competitors 7 days minimum! On top of that his pricing was far less compared to his competitors quotes !!! There is no better choice than Reyes Tree Service ! Thank you Juan ! read more

It was time to trim several trees and, once again, I turned to Juan Reyes, Oscar and their crew - all of whom were pleasant to work with, attentive to detail, and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Freddy and Reyes Tree Services did a great job trimming trees for our new home! Freddy was really knowledgeable when providing us the estimate, which gave us a lot of confidence that his team was going to do a great job for us--and they did! They also helped us figure out that one of our trees was already dead, so they removed it, roots and all. They were the most competitive on price too. We'll be returning to Reyes Tree Services for years to come! read more

I have a bunch of trees. I had an arborist come out and discuss trimming of our protected oaks and how Important having a professional crew is for the well being of our trees. Such as how you can spread disease to another tree if you don't properly sterilize your equipment . Also how if you don't cut a branch in the proper area the tree can become over grown too fast etc. I had noticed Juan's professional crew with wood chipper a few times on various neighbor's properties. I finally stopped and spoke to Juan asking questions about oak trimming. He is very knowledgeable in regards to all the things I had researched . Sterilizing equipment when is the best time to trim California oaks. Fire code compliance. Protections on what we are allowed to trim. Watching out for birds nests etc. Since he knew the answers to all that I asked we hired him to trim several of the trees closest to structures on the property. The crew did an excellent Job. I am very happy with the price and the work. I will definitely recommend Juan's crew. Also I will be hiring them regularly as we have so many more trees. I feel confident now that some are cleaned up so with the rains they are rid of all their dead limbs that weighed them down. All done to code. read more

Called Juan for an estimate to take down a tree, a couple days later he called me to tell me he will come next day at five PM (late) he called me at 5.40 it was dark (night). he came next day unannounced, gave me an estimate the price was good but he didn't make a commitment to come and do the job. He called a week later, by that time I had already hired a different company. read more

Everything was completed perfectly. On time and very professional. Will definitely choose them again.

Reyes was a simple choice for us. They were priced fairly and we've used them for several tree trimmings and stump removals.

Juan did my neighbor's yard. I was so impressed on how diligent and hard they worked even in 90+ degree weather. So, I asked him for an estimate to do my side yard. The dimensions to my sloped side yard are 13'x90'. I had 30+ years of growth of trees, bushes and plants. Big fat embedded roots all throughout the side yard. Due to the LA County drought restrictions, we wanted to replace all the existing plants with drought tolerant plants. We met Juan at a local nursery, so he could recommend and inform of various plants. Once we picked the type of plants, he scheduled the job. Day 1, Juan's people removed all the existing plants, roots and concrete border. Day 2, they planted all the drought tolerant plants. Day 3, they installed the drip system and mulch. I love my side yard. I get so many compliments from the neighbors. read more

I had been looking around for tree removal services for a 30 foot ash tree. I had a few different services come out and quote out the job. Reyes' quote and experience was by far the best and they were hired. On the day of removal they showed up promptly and went straight to work. It was a big job, but they didn't stop until it was down. They cleaned up all of the debris leaving the area looking fresh and clean. The price I was quote was the price I paid, there were no hidden fees. Reyes Tree Service did such a great job I hired them to trim and prune another tree that hadn't been trimmed in 20 years. Same thing, they came when stated, the price quoted was the price I paid, and they lefty yard looking good. I highly recommend Reyes Tree Service. Honest hard working group of guys. read more

I met with many contractors about our side garden and hillside. I came across Juan Reyes at the last minute and read reviews regarding his ability with hillsides. Needless to say, the pictures tell you all you need to know. They installed a beautiful 80ft fence along a steep slope. We decided to replicate the original, so the neighbors get the pretty side, but I don't mind our side either! They did a flagstone patio, terraces, and wooden steps up at the top. Now all I have to do is get planting. Juan was super knowledgeable and extremely easy and pleasant to work with. He communicated clearly and the job was finished on time and exactly as promised. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Rachelle L and Evelyn C for your reviews and pictures. read more

Was going to hire another company to remove two trees and trim 5 others around my house. Juan and I worked out a mutually agreed to price and bang, within 15 hours he and his team and trucks showed up at exactly the agreed to time. Incredibly easy, efficient, and professional experience. Despite my very specific requests, every one of them was taken care of the same day. Highly recommended and will be using them again. read more

They were collaborative, professional, and did an exceptional job in my yard. I can't recommend Juan and the team enough.

Hired Juan Reyes & team to prepare trees for fire season. First they removed tree grown too close to house. Besides fire hazard the roots from this 50 year old tree were ruining the plumbing in kitchen . Professionally cut down 30 foot tree without damaging the house or fence. Did a great job. Carefully cut tree and removed all branches & tree trunk & debris. If we weren't in fire zone I would have kept the wood for the fireplace. Next they shortened , pruned and shaved a row of 40 foot Cypress. Juan himself shook out the old dried debris to help prevent them catching on fire when Santa Ana's begin. Biggest thing was cutting and pruning two gigantic pine trees. They protected neighbors garden & wall and directed tree branches to fall in park behind the house. Masterful job! Took 2 days. Removed dead branches & leaves/ pine. Cleaned backyard and park as well. Neighbors were impressed & asked him to prep their houses too! Also cut back other trees 6' away from house per fire code. Very nice hard working guys. Far superior to other people I've hired before. Juan Reyes is knowledgeable & reliable. His crew pay attention to aesthetics. Not cheap but fair and worth it! read more

We need someone to work on our front yard with steep slope and would require a retaining wall. Mr. Reyes was quick with the appointment and the quote was right on our budget. We ended up adding more work to the original agreement. They cut the juniper trees and added ficus trees. We also had an area where the grass is dying and have them install concrete blocks. I would definitely work with them again for my driveway. In the meantime, we are so very happy with our front yard. We have before and after photos attached of their amazing work. read more

Jaun is the most educated tree service I have ever experienced. We have 3 acres of hundred-year-old oak trees, Olive trees, sycamore trees, and over ten other types of trees on our property. Not only was he priced lower than all 3 bids I put out , but he is meticulous with every tree, giving it a great trim but yet exposing the most beautiful part of each specimen. I highly recommend this company and I will be using this company as long as I live on this property. Thank you, Juan. read more

We hired Reyes Tree Services to perform brush clearing on our hillside house shortly after we moved in. Juan Reyes did a very thorough walk through with us and explained what he would have his crew do, and also recommended taking out some plants that were particularly prone to fire. Fast forward to last week when I came home from work and suddenly realized our hill was on fire. The fire had started from the road below and quickly burned its way through the brush up towards the house. But when the firefighters showed up at the house a few minutes later, each and everyone of them took one look at our property and said, "Don't worry, you have REALLY good brush clearance." That's the first thing they said. The fire flew up the hill to the line that the brush clearance drew. At the line it pretty much stopped with nowhere else to go. The fire below required at least seven water drops from helicopters, over 110 firemen, more than forty trucks, and lots and lots of water. Again, the first thing LAFD said to us was, "Don't worry, you have REALLY good brush clearance." And we enthusiastically replied, "Reyes." Reyes Tree Services saved our house. Needless to say, we will definitely be using them again next year. read more

I have used Reyes Tree Services twice. The first time was last year to remodel my front yard. The work included removal of the existing grass replacing it with DG, an efficient water wise new sprinkler system, decorative brick borders, and general clean up. The workers were prompt, efficient, careful and respectful of my property, and attentive to the project. Juan Reyes was hands-on and frequently visited and supervised the work progress. I was so impressed with the new beauty and significant reduction of water usage. Reyes Tree Services just completed the renovation of my backyard . I am now doubly pleased. I have two beautiful yards to enjoy. An additional plus, I am a good citizen because of my significant reduction of water usage. I highly recommend Reyes Tree Services. read more
