Oswaldo and his crew cut back the largest tree in our neighborhood, which happened to be in our backyard. It hadn't been trimmed in over 20 years. The price was very reasonable and they arrived on time early in the morning. Super professional and carefully they removed 33% of the height, trimmed and balanced it. We are very happy with the work, and will definitely call them next time It took them 8 hours with complete clean-up read more

We've used Valley Green Tree Services several times now and they always do a fantastic job! They've helped us haul away fallen branches, remove ivy from trees, and top a large ficus. The cleanup is always super thorough and our yard looks great afterward. Oswaldo is fair with pricing, explains the work clearly, and even gives helpful recommendations. Reliable, professional, and easy to work with -- highly recommend! read more

When we moved into our house the backyard hill was an absolute mess. The previous owners did not take care of it at all and I knew it was going to be a monumental task to clean it out. I got a total of four quotes to remediate the issue. The job comprised of removing some small trees, a ton of brush, tons of Jade and old trees that were cut down. Also trimming up a pepper tree which was overgrown and eliminating a ton of cactus. Not to mention trimming a palm. Oswaldo came out and gave us a very very reasonable quote for the job. He was able to start the very next day. It took them just short of two days to complete the job and it looks fantastic. Highly recommended. read more

This is a return visit to our home for this incredible tree service company! The first job that they did for us about 4 years ago was just so fantastic that we had to have them back to work on some other trees on our property. I can not say enough about the professional way in which they handled our jobs. We had a GREAT deal of work for these guys, some really overgrown TALL trees and also tree & stump removal. All of the workers were polite, focused, and really skilled craftsmen. Seeing three of them up in the massive tree in our front yard firing up their chainsaws and hacking down limbs in tandem was truly a sight to behold. The rate was very reasonable considering the amount of work involved and they were sure to leave the yard in better shape than they found it. I honestly cannot say enough about Valley Green, let them help you clean up your yard, you will be glad that you did. read more

What a phenomenal Team Lead by Oswaldo!!!! How many times do you contract out services and do not get what you agreed and expected? NOT with Valley Green Tree Services! I had 4 other tree trimming companies drop off their business cards, two of them I used before and was disappointed, and the only reason why I contacted Valley Green Tree Services was I used them a few years ago and was totally impressed. NO DIFFERENT TODAY!!!!! Oswaldo first comes out to give a quote. Genuinely professional and he knows his stuff! An individual you can respect and count on!!!! His Team shows up on time, are incredibly awesome themselves!!! They look after your best interest and are super clean with high quality work!!!!!! WOW!!!! And, Oswaldo is there with his Team to ensure the job is done right! If a member on his Team doesn't show up for work for any reason, Oswaldo fills in to ensure the job is still completed on time and done right! Goodness...Oswaldo and his Team needs a pay increase!!!!! They will stay with the company and the company will certainly get more business from this. Great service! Oswaldo is super communicative and they for the job done well! Their price was really reasonable. They even cut the wood in the smaller pieces for us so we could use it in the fireplace. read more

I saw Oswaldo trimming some of my neighbor's trees and asked for his card. He came out the day after I called him and quoted me on a very large street tree (Camphor) that was long overdue for trimming. The price was reasonable so I went ahead with them and they were here the following day. Great communication throughout the process. The day they arrived to do the work we scoped the tree out and they answered all my questions. The crew was awesome and took great care of the property. They made sure my existing plants and house was protected from the work they were doing with tarps and large pieces of plywood. The job site looked safe, too. They were quick w the tree trim and cleanup. At the end they called me out to see the tree. They did a great job shaping it and I'm looking forward to seeing it fill back in this summer. Five stars. read more

We have used this company many times (and recommend as well) and they continue to do wonderful work. Elias is easy to get in touch with and communicate with throughout the job. Their pricing is great for the service they provide. The crew shows up on time, get the job done, their work is impeccable and they do great clean up. When they're done you can't even tell they were there except their work. I'd highly recommend Valley Green! read more

This company is the greatest. They were punctual , caring , efficient and did a terrific job of shaping my magnolia tree and the clean up was spotless . I can highly recommend Valley Green Tree Services . Of note the office personnel are also extremely efficient and kind. Thank you Oswaldo and staff for such a terrific job. read more

Highly recommended! They were awesome. Not only did they care for the property around the tree they were removing, but they also cleaned up after AND removed all debris (instead of filling my cans). They quickly chainsawed down the branches in easy-to-manage segments, making sure each one dropped to the ground precisely where they wanted it to (not into our pool, for example... or onto our bushes). when it came time to use the Stump Grinder, they put up sheets of plywood around their work area to minimize the wood chips going everywhere. When the job was finished, they removed all branches and, between rake and leaf blower, cleaned up all traces of their visit. read more

I'm very impressed with this company and its service. They're licensed and insured, and their prices were the best when I shopped around. I was told the job to remove two trees and trim a large palm would take 2 hours, and that they'd show up at 7:30am. They showed up at 7:00am and we're done by 8:00am! There was a crew of 5 men and not only were they super fast, but very clean too. They even put up a board to protect our garage door from any flying pieces dinging it. They also were super careful not to damage any sprinkler heads and lines when removing a stump. I highly recommend these guys for tree trimming and removal. read more

We received glowing recommendations for two tree services in the area and had a hard time deciding which one to choose. Valley Green Tree Services was definitely the best choice! We've had bad luck in the past and, after 20 years with the beautiful trees on our property, we've been hesitant to ever have them trimmed again. From the moment I met Oswaldo, I felt he was someone I could trust. One of my first questions to him..."will you be onsite with your team during the job?" His answer was yes and he was, indeed, onsite with his team. I use the term "team" because they were truly that. They arrived (slightly early!) with smiles and they laughed as they worked together. As a business owner, I know the importance of a team enjoying their work day and I appreciate the atmosphere they brought with them. I also appreciate the fact they left our property spotless and took the time to protect surrounding plants and property before beginning to trim trees. We have a very old Juniper which, due to city regulations, had to be trimmed back from the street. I expressed to Oswaldo my concern in doing anything with this tree. He and his team took their time with me and removed small amounts at a slow pace. They listened to me, respected my concerns and did a beautiful job. I don't want to make this any longer than I need to (I can get long-winded...) In a nutshell, I highly recommend Oswaldo and VGTS and their entire team. HIGHLY!! read more

I can't say enough about the professionalism, attention to detail, cleanup crew and just an all-around excellent job Valleygreen tree services did for us this morning. We had trees that had not been pruned in many many years and they managed to make them look beautiful manicured and opened up our yard so much that now we get excellent light. They were so fast and the cleanup was so thorough it is as if they were never here. Thank you Valleygreen tree services for such an excellent job. I can highly recommend them to anyone needing service on their trees. Just had my second experience with this company and it was fantastic. Quick quote, easy to schedule, and professional execution of the task is exactly what I expected and they fulfilled my expectations and then some! I will be calling Oswaldo next year, too, for my next tree project! read more

Wow this company did a great job! We had two Cyprus trees removed, it was a delicate situation because they were surrounded by Plumeria plants that we didn't want damaged. Getting ready for a remodel of my home and the first thing that needed to be done was the removal of 45 years of trees and bushes and a trellis in my backyard, including root removal. It was a big job. Oswaldo helped me through the whole process from beginning to end with kindness and patience. He made several visits before and after. His team is wonderful, quick and efficient. They left my "new yard' clean and orderly. I highly recommend Valley Green Tree Services for all your tree trimming and removal services! Thanks so much Valley Green! read more

Needed to get estimates regarding Jacaranda Tree in backyard that was long overdue for trimming. We recently had strong winds and a heavy branch did break off that we were able to handle. But it was definitely time for a major trimming. Valley Green had done some recent tree trimming of a neighbors Pepper tree. Neighbors were very pleased with their work. Got a free written estimate. ( other estimates were verbal only). This company has certified arborist- they specialize in knowledge of trees. So happy we did select this company for our project. Crew of at least 6 came and completed the job within 2 hours. They made sure we were satisfied with cutting ( we did request some additional branches be cut back). They did excellent job of clean up. We were extremely happy with final results. Highly recommend this company. read more

I am a very sharp and meticulous buyer. I had 5 palm trees in my house to be trimmed. I called 6 or 7 companies to get an estimate since I was concerned not just with the price but quality of service that I receive. Oswaldo visited me and get me an estimate that was highly reasonable much less than other companies. Amongst 7 companies I chose Valley Green based on my interaction with Oswaldo. Their staff showed up on time on the day of appointment, they did the job far better than I expected. Very clean, very efficient and they left. I could not have asked for any better price and service. Highly recommend Oswaldo and Valley Green. Yossi read more

CARELESS, RUDE, AND DANGEROUS COMPANY. Earlier in December while trimming a large tree they allowed a huge branch to fall into my front window. They had been allowing the limbs to drop instead of lowering them down carefully. Some of the limbs were so large they shook the house when they hit the ground. I was very understanding that day because i know accidents happen even though i was injured and my home was damaged. I had been standing in the kitchen and the limb hit with such force that it sent glass flying, pelting my head and wrist. Thankfully my 16 month old was off the ground in a highchair and not in the way of the flying glass. I worked with Oswaldo, who was very kind and even offered to drive me to the hospital, which wasn't necessary. They filed a claim with their insurance company- then it was up to me to fix the remaining issues. I spent HOURS calling window companies and contractors trying to find a matching window. I had to setup multiple appointments to meet with these people for measurements and finally their insurance adjuster. I had to then pay a grand out of my pocket to pay for the window upfront. I was finally mailed a check which barely covered the cost of the window; by the way its been over a month and the window is still not installed yet. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT IT WAS OVER- the owner of the company showed up at my doorstep asking to take a picture of the window. I asked why since I had just gotten the check a day before and thought the claim was closed. He was irate that his insurance company had charged him so much to file the claim ***I noted that I had called Oswaldo and left a message telling him the price of the window and giving him the opportunity to pay cash for it and I heard nothing. HE ACTUALLY WANTED ME TO GIVE HIM THE FEW DOLLARS EXTRA FROM THE INSURANCE CHECK THAT I HAD RECEIVED. I brought up that I deserved a discount instead for all the headache i've gone through the last month- his reply "you haven't paid your bill yet? you better do that or we charge 20% more" SERIOUSLY does this man not care about his reputation or doing the right thing??? I've been calm during this whole process and was still when I shut the door in his face. BEWARE- accidents happen but you can truly judge a company on how well they handle themselves in situations like this. read more

We would give Arborist Waldo and Valley Green Tree Services a 5 out of 5 Star Rating without hesitation! We will be using them again for more projects. Great Job and Clean. First Star: He arrived on time for the initial estimate. Second Star: He treated us respectfully while sharing knowledge and appreciation of our trees. Third Star: Waldo came up with "outside the box" solutions for our unique situation. Fourth Star: His price was fair & reasonable while he remained dedicated to the completion of our project. Fifth Star: Waldo's crew worked with precision, care, and safety in mind throughout the job! They also took care to protect the neighbor's property including lighting from getting damaged as the trimmed our trees that were over their property. What more could you want from a Tree Service? read more

I have now used them twice and they are excellent! Each time I obtained 4 bids and they were the lowest. The work they did exceeded my expectations. I have a huge tree twice the height of my house and they took out a lot of the branches that threatened the roof and house itself. The appointments were easy. Work was done in half a day and they cleaned up well. They will be my go to crew from now on. Thank you Oswaldo for the quotes and tips. read more

Outstanding service! Showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Thank you Valley Green Tree Services!!!

They gave us a fair estimate for the four trees we needed trimmed. They were prompt on arrival and did a great job and completely cleaned up after they were finished. The work was excellent and artistic. Easy to deal with and open to discussion. We recommend them enthusiastically. read more

Had three high-Yelp-rated tree services come by and give me an estimate, and J & A was the cheapest. But perhaps you get what you pay for. The largest issue I had with them is that they substantially cut back a nearby tree without consulting me. They hadn't mentioned needing to cut this other tree in the estimate (no company had), and I wasn't asked about it (I was home all day) before hand. I watched them work for awhile, went inside, and when I came back it was cut. This tree they cut completely shaded our back porch sitting area, which is now nearly fully exposed to the morning/afternoon sun. I had to build a shade structure, which is helpful, but no where near as shade providing as the tree I did not ask them to cut had been. If that had been the only thing they did poorly, I would have given them more stars, but the list of little mistakes they made is too much to bore you with, though here are a few: left garbage (water bottles, papers, etc), clumsily tarped over my pond killing many of the fish (though luckily none of the big ones), scratched up two side-fences to the extent that they'll need to be repainted, failed to properly put all of our stuff back or clean up well, left a mess of sawdust in my neighbor's yard...etc - just a slew of little unprofessional things like that. If I'm paying 2k for a job, it should be done well. Definitely would not recommend, despite the price. read more

Fast, reliable, great price, friendly service, AMAZING attitude, timely call backs, and great clean up. Being a first time home owner, taking care of little things around the house can get frustrating. What is worse than finding people to do jobs, and have no shows or no call backs after receiving promised dates of service? I didnt know HALF the terror of that until the past week of dealing with hard to find tree cutters. Elias and his crew were my 2nd choice, due to the price being only 50 dollars higher. However, after dealing with all that drama, I decided that the extra 50 dollars (which was then cut to 25 dollars) was worth it. They came the next day, after calling them at 5 PM the day before. Took around 4 hours to get a 4 feet diameter tree stump out. They did the job so fast, and so beautifully, that I feel like every penny I paid was worth it. Thank you guys! I really appreciate all your hard work. If I ever need some tree removals, this is definitely the company I AM CALLING! read more

Valley Green Tree Services - 60 yr old Golden Rain tree that Oswaldo and his team removed in 3 hours! - Tree Services Near Me

Great company! I didn't give them 5 stars since I initially contacted them through their website's contact us page and they never called or emailed me back. I called them a few days later and they were very friendly and scheduled a consultation very quickly. The consult guy came a few minutes early and gave me an estimate in a few minutes. He gave me a job estimate of 3 hours to cut 5 trees of various sizes. The office called me back a few minutes after he left to schedule my service. The tree removal guys came on time and were done in 45 minutes! They took away all my dead leaves when they didn't need to. They had this crazy machine to kill the roots a few feet down. They accidentally cut into my sprinkler line and pointed it out to me. They fixed it in a few minutes and I appreciated their honesty instead of hiding the broken line. I will definitely use them in the future. Friendly service, quick work and fair price. read more

The clean up job could have been better. The estimator said 2 hours, but these guys were in a real rush. With 6 guys working together they finished in 1 hour, used a gas blower to sprinkle saw dust all over the yard, thereby "cleaning- up" the concentrated areas. They just dispersed it all over the place. They also left some branches that fell over to the neighbors side, which they had access to pickup. So, I go a complaint from the neighbor and went to pick it up myself The actual tree cutting part of it was good. They took care not to damage a newly planted fruit tree. read more

I second Edgar K.'s review. Oswaldo came out and did a very professional intake and presentation. The fact that they were able to fit me in the same day (yesterday) was a plus, given all the other projects I've got going on at the house. The workers showed up as scheduled, and actually LISTENED to the fact that, while I wanted certain bushes removed, I also insisted on them leaving my shrimp plant and lemon tree alone! Their clean-up was thorough, too. Adrian came to finish the transaction, and was gracious about removing some stray parts of plants that had gotten left behind, so no interlopers would start growing again. And the quoted price was very reasonable. So, now, when the parade of construction workers finally finish their in-and-out of the house, I will have a "clean slate" to begin my native plant landscape of the front yard! read more
