It is a historical site, I didn't read too much in depth about what it was, but if it's for hot chicken sandwiches, then I can see why. Walking into the place was like walking into someone's home. There was only one waitress there, and she was running around like a crazy woman trying to take care of tables. Tables. She did a great job though so my hats off to her for making sure that every table felt like they were taken care of. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with fries, and a diet Coke. Because hey, I have to watch out for my girlish figure. The sandwich came out, as well as my drink right on time. And so I Dove right in. For starters, these were some of the best french fries I have ever had. I'm pretty sure they're using Lowry's seasoned salt on them, but I can't be sure. Whatever it was. They were super tasty and super crispy without having to be asked for them. Crispy The chicken sandwich itself was great, had a great buffalo sauce on it and had just the right amount of coleslaw and pickles. Every bite was a wonderful experience. I love finding cool new places that I can share with the world, and this is definitely one of them. If I am ever in the Post Falls area again, this will be one of my stops to get a bite to eat. Bottom line? If you are ever traveling through Idaho and find yourself in Post Falls, I would highly recommend you go to this place. I remember ordering pho and having enough leftovers for another meal, but now it's easy to finish a large in one sitting. The fried spring rolls are $11.95 for 5 or 6 rolls, which also feels steep. It would be nice if they offered a half order for single diners. Being charged $1-$2 for extra basil, sprouts, lime, or jalapeños also feels unnecessary given the overall pricing. Small touches like that would go a long way in making customers feel valued. I also went in for pickup recently and noticed the preset tip options were 30%, 40%, and 50%, which felt excessive for a takeout order. Really good with just a bit of a kick. Really didn't taste the peanut butter (except when it got in my hand), probably because of the jalapeno strawberry jam. But it was a perfect ratio of burger to bun to sauce. Definitely recommend both. We had the potato dippers with both and we also each had a cup of their homemade chili, which was very very good. The potato dippers are not your typical fries. Not sure what kind of machine (?) cuts them up, but, they are delicious and outstandingly tasty when you use the chili as a dip! We were also impressed with the selection of mocktails. The No-jito was really refreshing with the mint & lime and not sweet at all. Loved it! Friend had the Donkey and really liked it too.
