Amazing service and beverages here. Staff is super friendly too. I enjoyed an iced coffee flight. This place never disappoints me. My go to coffee spot anytime of the day. They also have alcoholic drinks here too. This location is connected to the Bristol bazaar so you can shop around too after your coffee.

This was a sporadic trip after seeing this place on TikTok. The parking is HUGE at the race st location, I always worry about parking with places like this in the city. The staff was amazing and friendly! The coffee is hands down the best coffee I've ever had 10/10. I'm a coffee freak. I drove an hour and a half to get here, and does not disappoint. I love the ambiance of the place, everything is just perfect. The gift shop is really neat too! Will be coming back!

They were so nice to accommodate my request for a no bread breakfast sandwich! The other barista made me a cold brew with marshmallow cold foam!! Very nice ambiance! Perfect place to be in Bristol!

I happen to be at the Bristol bizarre when I saw that Yellow King had opened up inside! It's been on my list for a while now, so I decided to have a drink after shopping!! I look forward to going back soon, so I can order food too!! The drink was so delicious!!

Great Fall drinks! My warm Chaider (chai steamed with apple cider and brown sugar) hit the spot on windy morning! Definitely would visit again!

There is a new monarch in Bristol, and his favorite primary color, is neither Red nor Blue. That's right! Yellow King (YK) opened adjacent to Bristol Bizarre. I've visited the Wallingford YK a few times. They're known in the CT Foodie World for cool coffee beverages and cocktails such as Espresso Martinis (and especially flights of them). I learned that YK had opened in Bristol from a co-worker from NW CT who was sipping from a Yellow King cup at work in Hartford. I visited a few days later. The Bristol YK is much smaller than the Wallingford location, but there is a bar which maybe could accommodate seating for 10 and some additional seating along the wall. You can also order a coffee and browse the crafts, etc. at Bristol Bizarre. I ordered one of the Seasonal Specials -- the Yippee Ki-Yay (was Die Hard a Christmas Movie?). It consisted of Jambi Cold Brew, gingerbread syrup, eggnog cold foam and cinnamon. Looks great. Tasted great. Not cheap enough to be my everyday coffee, but it's a nice splurge coffee. That's all I had, but I noticed Yellow King's offerings included Tribus Beer, Zupps Apizza, bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Getting a Yellow King seems like a Home Run for Bristol and the Bizarre. Granted, it was within 10 days if Christmas when I visited. That said, the staff was completely overwhelmed. There were only 2 people on duty and our orders for hot cocoa flights took about a half hour to get. Our food was consumed long before the drinks came. The cafe itself is small with metal bar stools comprising the majority of the seating along a counter along the windows or a bar. The sausage and cheese croissant and hot cocoa flight I ordered were both tasty, but it was chaotic and loud and took way too long. They need to hire more staff.

I am a regular at Yellow King Brew's North Haven location so it was fun taking a trip to a new-to-me area and to check out their second location. If you are used to North Haven, you might be shocked how small this location is at first. The bar takes up most of the space, but they continued to keep their industrial vibes, brand and larger than life murals. They had a lot of staff working so the drinks were turning out quickly. I got one of their March seasonal drink, Mint'ro. It was made with their Jambi blend nitro with topped with mint white mocha cold foam. The color of it was so fun, both the coffee and cold foam were vibrant green! It tasted minty with a hint of vanilla and subtle coffee taste. This location seems to be in an old factory-like building in a neighborhood. There is a generous amount of parking. Yellow King Brew is next door to the Bristol Bizarre which the two are connected from the inside. Besides the Bristol Bizarre, a shop that curated local handmade items, art and gifts in one place, there isn't much else in the immediate area. It's great that Yellow King Brews has expanded and love to see where else they'll end up next.

This was a cool little place to get a drink and snack. The drinks are centered around coffee, which is great! However, the optional snacks do not mix well with them. It is nice to have something, but would rather something that pairs a little bit. The bartenders were very polite and quick to help.

Located in the same building as the Bristol bazaar. I'm not sure what was going on the day we came for breakfast but it was a bit chaotic. I think it was the first day they started the hot chocolate flights and they were very understaffed with just 2 employees on to help everyone for both pick up and sit down to dine orders. I could tell that it is a local fave for coffee spots based on the lines and how busy they were. That being said then I would have expected more staff. There is not much chair and table seating so if you have mobility issues or difficulty sitting in bar stool like chairs then this is not a place for you. There is only one table with chairs the rest are bar stool and counter type seating. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and the hot chocolate flights. By the time our flights came out our sandwiches at already been consumed. It took so long due to staffing that I almost contemplated saying just for get the order. Once we did get our drinks it was very good. Just wish we could have enjoyed the experience more.

First found yellow kings in Wallingford and I fell in love with their menus. So happy to see Bristol have a location so I can get all my seasonal favorites. They coffee blends are smooth without an over roast bitterness you get with some other shops. The menus change seasonally so if you can grab a coffee flight I highly recommend it.

It's beautiful inside. There are murals on the walls inside and outside. Someone can sit and simply admire all the art. At least, that's what I would do. Quick service and friendly staff couldn't have asked for anything else. Hot chocolate was enjoyed deeply by my daughter. It was a little wait for the flights. It was worth it though!

So exciting to see a second Yellow King location! This spot is definitely smaller than their original location in Wallingford, but still has a couple tables, long window seating, and a full-sized bar. We came by for Thursday Trivia and didn't expect it to be as small as it was, definitely odd for hosting trivia but we made it work! I really enjoyed my cookie monster cold brew which is one of their signatures. They had a few beers on tap, their famous espresso martinis, extensive bourbon list and some fun craft cocktails. We weren't drinking alcohol, but I will definitely be back to try their espresso martinis! They also do an espresso martini flight from 12PM-6PM for $35! Great to share with a friend!

I feel the need to leave this review here now just in case I forget to leave a actual proper long review. This is our third time, a humble looking joint so we come here always just expecting it's going to be " meh". But we keep coming back, collecting calories around our waist because everything is so good here! Service - always awesome. Everyone here looks like they work cohesively, everyone is smiling working hard . Coffees always refilled. Food- fantastic, always fresh, on point. This time I got an omelette with tomatoes and this is the first time I had an omelet where the tomatoes don't get mushy. Their hash browns are also amazing! ... while we like the shredded we LOVE the fried- like mini French fries. While all of their proteins are awesome - their turkey bacon deserves a special shout out because it often misses the mark at most places.. but not here . And then there are the little things - clean bathrooms, condiments on the table are clean and not sticky or gross !! Anyway, come here.

Lots of great choices on the menu. Everyone enjoyed what they'd gotten. Prices were somewhat inexpensive and they had some interesting options I'd like to have in the future. Absolutely will come back.

It looked really good and she mentioned her friend always got the buffalo chicken baked potato so I got that. Potato was a bit undercooked, basic buffalo sauce and a couple of frozen chicken fingers. To make matters worse, the food I received wasn't the same as what I had ordered previously, and there seemed to be confusion about who handled the original order. I feel like the subsequent orders I placed were not as good as the first order when the "particular staff" who took the order was not aware who was placing the order. I feel there is a racial undertone here but can't say it outright to the staff because of plausible deniability. The lack of attention to detail and the inattentive service made me feel overlooked as a customer. Customers deserve clear communication, basic respect, and accuracy with their orders. Unfortunately, my experience fell short in all these areas. I hope the management takes steps to improve because these issues directly affect trust and satisfaction. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. There are a lot of cafes in the area. Too bad though because this is the closest establishment to our place.

The textured walls are gorgeous and give the space a style it was definitely missing before. As usual, the happy hour menu never disappoints. The Pomjito is a personal favorite.. refreshing, light, and not too sweet. We also got the oysters and mussels, both solid. The mussel sauce was unique compared to a typical tomato base, which we really appreciated. For my entrée, though, I was disappointed to see that the tuna salad I always order had completely changed. It used to be an arugula salad with Asian flavors and the tuna served on top. Now it It's a Niçoise salad, and the tuna is awkwardly placed on the side. Nothing about the tuna tasted like it did before. I'm usually a sucker for ahi tuna, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing ahi dishes I've ever had. It felt totally incohesive with the salad next to it. I really wish they didn't change the menu so frequently. Once I finally find an entrée I genuinely look forward to, it disappears. That said, we'll still be back for the great happy hour food and solid drinks. Now it's just a matter of finding a menu item I like... and hoping they keep it.
