Recently ordered at Bite & Tea after many years of having forgotten about them. I was really craving their yummy dalgona coffee (frothy coffee) and wanted to try their Korean street ramen. I ordered online and my order was completely quickly and without issues. When ordering the ramen you are able to choose spice level, I chose mild and it still kicked my butt so keep in mind if sensitive to heat. Next time I order I will try zero spice, I was a fan of the fried egg, corn and sausage that topped the ramen. I chose the brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls. It was very sweet! I also had the golden milk buns as a treat. They were these little donut like bites with a custard in the center topped with a glaze. They were good. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and brought out our stuff to the table where we were waiting. Very good customer service. They had a pretty cool menu with soup options and other appetizers. The braised pork belly bun looked good and ill probably be back to try that! A friend and I tried Bite and Tea this week. The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. It was definitely a spot that people quickly come and go from (looked like mainly take out orders) and probably aren't expected to sit for any length of time but the space was comfortable enough to host a good number of customers. We ordered at the kiosk, which was convenient. Menu is super duper limited. Unless you're going specifically for a beverage, you may be disappointed. Food was sparse. I tried to get a few different items to give it a fair shot though. Food did come out pretty quickly. 1. Pork belly buns. The pork was small and super thin. Tasted good and was tender. Bun was very wet and underwhelming and ratio of bun to pork was not great. Got a lot of bun in every bite but not a ton of pork. 2. Salt and pepper chicken. This was essentially just any kind of freezer popcorn chicken you can get at the grocery store, with salt and pepper generously added on top after cooking. It was good but could have been something I saved my money and made at home. Solid portion size though. 3. Beef meatball skewer. The meat didn't taste right. Definitely weird texture and flavor for beef. The sauce on it was okay but not plentiful. The amount of meatball for the price was also disappointing. Overall, I thought it was fine and the experience was okay but I would not return for the quality available. Pricing seemed a little steep for the kinds of food offered, also. One of our local go-tos! The owner is always so nice. We always do one of the combos (2 drinks, 1 app + 2 entrees) My favorite bubble tea is the brown sugar and his is banana. We've tried a bunch of the apps, our favorites are red oil wontons and the Sugar & Vinegar ribs. Our favorite entrees are the Japanese Curry (I prefer noodles, he prefers the rice), Taiwanese braised pork & Korean Street ramen. I visited Bite & Tea a few times. Additionally, I ordered different items each time. I loved the Scallion pancakes, Crispy Egg Crepes, and Bubble Tea as well =). The Scallion pancakes were spot-on! My husband liked the Crispy egg crepes. I liked the Bubble Tea. It was a little on the sweet side. I don't remember if I asked for less sugar or not. The item I didn't prefer was the Noodles with Spiced Peanut Sauce (it was pretty gross in my opinion). Maybe they should make the Taiwanese Beef Pancake?? I really wanted to like my food. I love a variety of Asian food, and their menu looked delicious. In the end, my experience was mixed. To begin with, I got the green tea latte with brown sugar balls and it was fantastic. I would absolutely return to get more drinks because I enjoyed this part of my meal. Unfortunately, my enjoyment ended there. I also ordered the braised pork belly buns and Japanese curry chicken rice. While the rice was good, the curry was just overpoweringly sweet. A good Japanese curry should be sweet with a complex mix of flavors and (for my tastes) a bit of heat. The curry here was just cloying. It also had almost no chicken--it was pretty much all potato and carrot with maybe 3 dime sized pieces of chicken. In the end, I ate a few bites of the curry, then unable to stomach any more of the overpowering sweetness, I only ended up really eating the parts of the rice that weren't soaked in the curry gravy. As to the pork belly, it suffered from the same issue. I expected sweet--I like sweet if there are other flavors involved. While the bun portion, as with the rice for the curry, was nicely done, the filling was so cloying as to be inedible after a few bites. It was basically meat candy. That this is coming from a girl who adore Chinese takeout boneless spareribs is saying a lot. As with the rice, I ate the part of the bun not soaked in cloying sauce and left the rest. As I said, I wanted to love this--it's a great concept and I'm all about supporting diversity in local businesses. As such, this review is meant to be constructive. I don't know if I hit them on a bad night or if I simply don't like the recipes. Bottom line? I will definitely be back for the tea, but I'll pass on food from here for the time being. read more

From the outside it looks discreet for a boba shop. Not the usual bright colors and cute pictures everywhere. The inside vibe is pretty chill and relaxing with wood table tops and plants. You can either order from the touchscreen kiosk or the counter. The menu is simple and easy to follow. We got a wonton soup, pork belly bun, strawberry boba w/strawberry popping and a Thai tea w/brown sugar boba. You can specify sugar and ice amounts as well as extra boba and jelly. I was surprised when the strawberry arrived because it had both boba and strawberry popping! Yum! The food and drinks didn't take long to arrive. They came in takeaway boxes which is convenient. I don't know if that's just because of COVID or how they have always done. The wonton soup had a nice flavorful broth with seaweed flakes and some green leaves that I'm not sure what they were but added a freshness to the broth. The pork belly was tender and melted in your mouth. The bun was soft with a little bite to it. All in all I would come again mostly for the boba tea, maybe not so much for the grub. read more

Order a few things from Bite & Tea last night and have to say they were pretty decent but with a few flaws for my taste. Ordered the Street Ramen, Pork Belly Bun, Sugar & Vinegar Pork Ribs, Simmered Beef Rice, Noodle with spiced Peanut Sauce, Korean Frothy Coffee, Sparkling Pomegranate Tea and the Sparkling Lavender Tea. Overall a pretty decent size order. First off I'll say everything had a great flavor to it and I do mean everything. Was very happy in the taste department. The teas were all very good and the coffee was my absolute favorite. SO GOOD! The things I thought could have been better... the rice and noodles in every dish were way overcooked to the point of being almost on the verge mushy. The pork ribs were very overcooked and close to pork jerk consistency. Had those items been cooked properly I'd probably be writing a 5 star review right about now. Aside from those flaws with the meal the last critique is that the appetizers are so small for the amount of money that is charged for them. I'd like to see a little extra there. Maybe 3 Belly buns instead of the 2 small ones. Something like that. Huge portions aren't needed but I think portion size to value is a little out of whack. I'm almost certain I'll order from Bite & Tea again because I'd like to try a few other items but it won't be my "go to" place for anything really. I do recommend you go here and try it for yourself. First off, I just want to say that upon entering, I felt really welcomed. The gentleman that greeted me was very friendly. They have an extensive drink menu and a large selection of food to choose from as well. However, I was on a mission and was only stopping in to try one thing - korean frothy coffee. I've been eager to try dologna coffee and this was the first place I found that offers it. I loved it! It was so good, I asked them to make it less sweet as I try to limit my sugar intake and don't like super sweet drinks. But it didn't last long, it was gone within 10 minutes.
