Other than never being able to figure out whether I was due for a free dog wash after my six visits, I always had good experiences with this location, that all changed today. Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here...

Our beloved fur baby of 12 and a half years had cancer in several places. His quality of life…read moredeteriorated quickly and as much as we wanted to prolong his time with us, we knew the time had come to make decisions. Places we called to help take the pain away from our buddy boy had a week plus wait for an appointment. One of those places actually recommended Dr. Perry and said she would personally use her if faced with that decision. We called and Dr. Perry was quick to reply. She continued to communicate and reply to our questions and was able to come out very quickly so Hugo could be relieved from the pain he was suffering. Dr. Perry arrived amd immediately her demeanor put our fur baby as well as his puppy brother at ease. She explained each part of the process and what to expect. We questioned our decision to do this...was this the right decision or could we do other things to extend his life. While Dr. Perry did not giver her opinion, she did access and evaluate our fur baby and found his lung function was very low....had lung cancer, and this heart rate was super high..it was far elevated over the normal range. She also gave time to spent with Hugo privately in order to say our good-byes. She even provided information as to what puppy brother might do and how he might act...she was 100 percent right about what puppy boy did and how he might react. She really does know animal behavior. I am so very sad that we were faced with this decision....i wanted more time with our fur baby. However, Dr. Perry solidified and confirmed that this decision was the only and right decision for our fur baby.

We traveled for 10 days and never once worried about our 2 (fur babies) cats, Jack and Sally. Joleen, who cared for them daily, sent regular texts with photos and updates. She was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our cats' comfort, (and ours!). She was funny and quick to respond, just like a close family member! They will just not be open sometimes, like today, a sunny Sunday. We like being able to support our local independent pet store, but we can no longer rely on them for our dog's food because they just decide to sometimes not open on Sundays, a day they have listed as open, or open late. So we decided today we are just ordering dog food online from now on. This has happened too many times to us now. We need reliability, and we don't have it here, sadly.
