Curious place that seems to be much better staffed than the Petsmart down the road that is four times the size. Greeted as soon as I walked in to my appointment to get Prince Tippytoes' nails trimmed. And he was immediately taken back. Now it seems he is very much a Primna Donna as his whines could be heard across the store. But the lovely lady who trimmed him said that despite his cries he was a good boy that didn't growl or snarl. Have been using this place since they opened for self washes and decent pricing on treats and such for my dog. Other than never being able to figure out whether I was due for a free dog wash after my six visits, I always had good experiences with this location, that all changed today. Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here... read more

New management is horrible! The past two times my dog has gone to get groomed, she has been there for hours and no one texts or answers the phone. Then when I show up, everyone ignores me and doesn't take accountability for the poor customer service. The two guys in the back who supposedly are managers there brush me off when I ask them where my dog is and why the phone isn't working, and are so rude. They have lost my business! read more

We are long time customers , but lately the customer service has gone way down. We tried to call 3 times on 3 different days to schedule an grooming appointment , everytime they will say the scheduler will get me a call back ,but they never did. read more

So sad since new management customer service has dropped so badly, not phone answering, you place special orders and food doesn't come and nobody knows why. I shop here all the time for my dog's food and supplements. They have a nice selection and some cool accessories and dog beds. Many of my neighbors bring their dogs for daycare and grooming and are very pleased. The staff is always helpful and polite. read more

This place is really cool! They have all types of different dog/cat food. Everything you need for your pet. I typically come here to use the self wash place which has everything you need from shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner solution, de shedding brush, cotton balls, towels, apron, and a high velocity blown dryer. I love this business. I've always gone in to buy food and toys for my dog. My husband found out he has to go back to the office a few days a week. We started taking our pom to daycare so he wouldn't be alone all day. It has been the best thing we've done for him. My dog cries with excitement when he realizes he's going to daycare. Amazing place!!! The staff was super helpful, and the groomer was very friendly towards my dog. Bruno was finally able to get his nails trim, he hates his paws being touch but they were able to do it!! He also got a cute little bandana. Definitely I will be coming back. read more

We went to this place to get my dog a haircut and they did a pretty good job! Not the best haircut my dog has gotten but definitely would come here again. All of the staff that worked there were very nice and they also have a daycare to put the dogs in while they are waiting to get groomed. My dog was not placed in it because he does not do well with other dogs but having that amenity is a plus! I also bought a few things there and they support local suppliers as well. read more

This store and grooming facility is clean, has very hospitable service, and an array of pet supplies. Marnie, the owner, is a joy to speak with. She has expertise in providing the best care for one's pet. Marnie took the time to guide me as to the best products for our mini doodle. We really enjoyed the store and treats for cats and dogs. A lot of unique and cool items that you probably won't see at chain pet stores. Definitely nice for a special occasion or something different. Unfortunately, the grooming we tried for our dog didn't go very well. I am so thankful we had The Green K9 recommended to us. Our pup is a rescue dog, and gets anxious very easily, especially after a traumatic nail-trimming experience at Petsmart a couple years ago. The owner is one of the kindest people. She was able to cut our dogs back nails, but did not want to cause him more stress by continuing the front. She recommended a product to calm him down, and said we could leave him with her for an hour. We came back in an hour to find him relaxing in the doggy daycare room, and was so excited to see us. Normally after getting his nails cut, he's drooling and overly stressed. They had success doing his nails, and we came up with a great plan to continue the success. We look forward to bringing him monthly, with an hour of doggy daycare, to reward him and add some routine. I can't tell you how much getting his nails trimmed always stresses me out, and The Green K9 found the perfect solution :) read more

You get a large, private room to bathe your dog and all the supplies you need, not just shampoo and towels, but various grooming tools as well. We went to the green k-9 for the first time only because it was a place we found from the numbers we called to get our dog bathed at the last minute. The owner assisted Daisy in giving her a bath. The owner made us feel like we didn't know how to care for our dog properly. She then talked us into buying medicated wipes and dog food from her store just so could get more money out of us. The place has a daycare which we thought would be good to bring our dog to sometime so she could have some dog friends. Daisy passed the training class. When she was in the daycare. They called and said she had some poop on her hair and asked if they could give her a bath another way to get money from us. Third visit no complaints. And we wondered why Daisy was scratching her ears after three baths.she ended up having and ear infection from getting a bath. Her fourth visit we told her about the ear infection and she says that they do a good job giving them baths and don't do that. Not to mention they are the only ones that have gave her a bath.On that same visit called and said she was consistently barking because a storm was coming and we had to stop what we were doing and go get her which defeats the purpose of taking her to the daycare. On the fifth day care visit they called and said she jumped the gate. So at this Point we were unfor sure what we were gonna do because they were complaining about how the dog was from the last two visits. We wanted to give the place another chance with Daisy because she did particularly like one of the ladies in the daycare. She jumped the gate to get to the women she liked So the sixth visit we got told when we dropped her off if she jumped the gate they were going to put her in a cage and we would have to come get her. We told the company numerous times do not cage our dog because we don't do that. So the last visit within an hour and a half they call and say she jumped the gate we had to come get her so this place we feel likes to take your money and the owner is not too pleasant. She needs to learn better how to assist dogs needs. Operating a daycare before operating a daycare for dogs. There was no indication your dog could not jump or bark at her daycare.
