We've started using the service recently for walks and feedings when we're at work. The intake process with Kiira and online was very smooth. It was easy to schedule a "meet and greet" with Amy and Andrew, who are visiting our two dogs (a quiet 9-year old and a 5-year old with attitude; both sighthounds) about 3 times a week. Since then Amy and Andrew have taken care of our pups for the past month or so. They are both responsible and have the kind of calm personality that all dogs feel comfortable being around. They've followed all our instructions, provided very detailed updates and pictures, and taken good care of our doggies. So far I am very pleased with the service. We love our dogs like children and feel good about entrusting Amy and Andrew with their care. read more

Ive used this service for over two years. Recently their customer service has reached bottom. Today, they stopped my service, removed me from their pet portal, charged me and closed out my account with them. I had ask that they only provide me with one one of their walkers that I had for the first 18 months, at least twice a week if possible. Their final response was " she is rarely available during the times I requested" ... I mean for the first 18 months she was available , and now she was not.... After numerous attempts to remedy this, they decided (Customer Service Agent Becca) to cut me and my dogs loose. I contacted them to give them "NOTICE"; that I would be looking for another service. I am a senior citizen wtih Dystolic Heart Failure. What a way to treat a senior citizen.. Terrible service... And the owner, did nothing, even though on her web page she states "If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our service, we will correct it right away and offer a money-back guarantee". But the dog and cat staff caretakers are excellent Sad, but I do no recommend this service providers. Like Share read more

We left our 2 cats in the care of Kat, who works for 'Pet and Home Care', for 5 days. We couldn't have been happier. Kat was reliable, efficient, and immediately struck up a trusting connection with our 'boys'. It was challenging work for her, because she had to administer an inhaler treatment twice a day to one of the cats, Marlow, despite not having known him before. She did an absolutely wonderful job. He was actually in better shape and coughing less, after we came home than before we left. Both cats looked happy and relaxed. The cat area was left clean and tidy. I will look no further next time we need cat care. We also loved the photos and updates we got each day....it helped us relax much better while away! read more

I am unable to write a stronger review for Pet and Home Care. The last time my two labs were boarded, they came back smelling of urine and looked awful. We decided to try home care with three visits each day. One of my labs is very nervous with strangers. They were like dog whispers. They did an amazing job. They also provided pictures and updates from each visit. We got home and they were so happy. I could not be more grateful. read more

We have been working with Pet and Home Care for almost two years and, honestly, I don't even know how to capture how much I love working with them in a review.  Here are the top 5 reasons why I love Pet and Home Care: 1. They have a deep bench of expert pet sitters so you never have to worry about getting stuck without a sitter last minute. 2. You get to meet your sitter and back up sitter in person and introduce them to your pets prior to going out of town.  This way I got to see how the sitters interacted with my pets and I could show them the special steps we take to care for our cats. 3. We have special needs cats and they have never blinked at an accommodation for them. 4. After every visit you get a "Paw-gress report" with pictures and a short update on the visit, which puts us at ease and helps us relax while gone. 5. The proof is in the kitties! They are so relaxed when we come home, which helps absolve us of our guilt of leaving them. Honestly, we feel so comfortable leaving our babies in the hands of Pet and Home Care. Special shout out to Amy and Ingrid who are our rock star sitters. They're tremendous with the cats and the cats obviously love them because of the pictures they're willing to pose for! read more

We have used this pet care company for quite a few years now for both of our cats. One is diabetic and one has seizure disorder and our sitter has taken care brilliant care of them, including all of their medications. We haven't worried a bit about them and I love the fact that she sends photos and updates each day. The whole company is beyond compare. I wouldn't go anywhere else for our beloved cats. read more

We feel so lucky to have found such a great service to take care of our beloved Goldendoodle, Charlie, as well as our home. Charlie loves everyone at Pet and Home Care who's taken care of her which includes daycare, a variety of grooming services, walks, really anything we've ever needed or wanted for our beloved pup. They are so sweet and caring with Charlie, I sometimes worry Charlie likes her PHC friends more than us! PHC has also provided excellent services to help clean and maintain our home. Our lives can get very busy, but Tiffany and Pet and Home Care have been a trusted and valued support system for us for years and have made all of our lives significantly better because we found them. My wife and I can be very particular and picky, so I can confidently say they are the best and couldn't recommend anyone more highly!!! read more

Jenn has been with our Boyz for many years now and we all absolutely adore her! Jenn is so kind and caring and takes excellent care of the Boyz when we'd are away! Jenn goes above and beyond our expectations during her visits, especially in carrying heavy packages and the mail up....it's too much but greatly appreciated! We look forward to having Jenn care for our Boyz for many more years to come.....thank you to Jenn (best catsitter....ever!) and to the Staff at Pet and Home Care!! Trisha and Kevin read more

Found PHC in a Google search for local pet sitters a few weeks before our vacation. From the first reply I could tell they're total pros. I got immediate answers to all my questions, arranged the pre-trip visit so I could go over our pet care routine with the main caretaker. Amy N was super friendly and caring. While we were gone she emailed us pics of our fur babies and she wrote up regular reports on them. We never had to worry about them we had such peace of mind. Would totally without any reservations recommend PHC to anyone who needs a reliable and affordable pet sitting service. Thanks guys! read more

I've used several (expensive) Doggy Hotels for my two fur babies (Havanese) but always walked away feeling a bit cheated. While I was paying for extra "playtime" attention, it didn't seem to happen and whenever I peeked at the dog cam, the pups were alone sitting by the door looking sad. I decided to try Pet & Home Care and at first glance I wasn't sure they could meet my needs. I openly admit to being a bit neurotic about caring for my pups. But at first contact, I was totally impressed with the customer service. They worked with me to find a pet sitting schedule that fit my needs perfectly. I just finished a 3 day trip were 2 pet sitters (Sabrina & Tulley-that I had met previously) cared for my pups. They were fantastic..carried out all of my requests...sent lots of pictures to keep me updated...and I returned from my trip with happy fur babies and a spotless house (I could not even tell that anyone was there). Don't hesitate to use Pet & Home Care...highly recommend! read more

Great service that we've used for a few years. The pet sitters are amazing and very professional. We use them every time we travel and it makes us feel so much better when we get the daily updates & pictures of our sassy fur baby cat (Chairman Meow). read more

Loved working with Pet and Home Care and their sitters Dorothy and Daniela. We had to leave our cat home for ten days and we were quite nervous about it. The office staff did a great job helping me schedule a series of visits that wouldn't break the bank. Once we had departed, Dorothy and Daniela provided update texts and pictures with every visit, giving us the assurances we needed that our fur baby was in terrific hands! I have been using Katerina as a dog walker for my Goldendoodle puppy all this week. She has been so amazing at handling her as well as working on her training. I can't even explain how helpful she has been. I am looking forward to more great dog walks! read more

Can't thank Pet and Home Care of Clarksbur, Maryland enough. Thank you Maya and pet sitter Laura. We have been using Pet and Home Care since we adopted our soon to be 2 year old goldendoodle, Sophie. We adopted a new labradoodle puppy Bella. She is 9 weeks old. We needed an emergency dog sitter for 12 hours and didn't know if that was going to be possible given the short notice and given how much care a puppy requires, this on top of a playful and super energetic dog, Sophie. Well Pet and Home Care did not disappoint as always. Laura showed up on time. She won our hearts and our dogs hearts. Sophie has not been that happy in a while. She had so much fun and so did Bella. Laura is so amazing with dogs. Sophie fed off of Laura's calm and caring demeanor. Before Laura left, Sophie asked for several belly rubs, something she does only with people she trusts and loves. We just love how much Pet and Home Care Clarksburg cares and loves animals. We are very happy customers and can't say enough great things about you. John and Grace McKinnon read more

We love this company! We've been using them for a few years now; they are always super reliable/dependable and take wonderful care of our fur child. We love the email 'pawgress reports' they send. Highly recommend Pet and Home Care. read more

I am loving my arrangement with Pet and Home Care !!! I love being able to change my schedule around online at any time. My three dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE their walker. And we humans like her a lot too. Reliable, Reasonably Prices, Accommodating ! Great experience for us and our three dogs :) read more

This company was referred to me years ago by a coworker and hasn't disappointed me, ever! I use them to sit my cats when I'm out of town. They also water outside plants on request (great during our hot summer months) and leave thoughtful notes about their visits. Once during a serious snow storm they visited earlier than scheduled, both for the safety of their employees and to get ahead of their many visits before the worst impacts. This was all communicated via email which was a huge relief, since I was travelling internationally. I cannot recommend them more highly. You won't be disappointed. read more

We have used Pet Care a couple times and were very pleased. They were sure to get the details (pet names, food location, door lock specifics, etc) lined up before the scheduled appointments. Very friendly and professional. I was equally impressed how the owner handled me scheduling two dog walks and then calling 20 minutes later when our plans changed to cancel them. Very understanding, and again, very professional. read more

We had just moved and needed a new walker to take Chewie on his noon walks. We had called a few places, but none were as responsive and willing to work with us as much as Erica did. She came by and met with us and Chewie on a weekend, and came back the next day to get the key. No attitude, no complaints. Our schedules are constantly changing, and Erica was very understanding and worked with us when we told her last minute of the days that we needed or not needed her help with Chewie. This is a drastic change from the old "big company" walking service we used before, where any changes needed to be filtered through a series of folks. With Erica, she's IT. So far so good! read more

They are excellent for our kitties especially Kimberly! She does such a good job taking care of their needs.

We had overnight stay sitting for a week and our pet sitter Autumn was terrific! She is very attentive and our shy pet really warmed up to her quickly. Daily pawgress reports with pics were awesome and provided us with a stress free vacation. I highly recommend PHC and appreciate all the care and attention Autumn provided. read more

Absolutely outstanding service! The registration and booking process is immediate! We have been using Pet & Home Care for 3 years and they are super with our 2 cats and 2 guinea pigs. Each P&H staff member is friendly, loving and always accommodating. We would highly recommend the 'meet before you book' service if you're a first time user or usually book cat kennels for your cats. This gives both you, staff member and your animal the opportunity to meet each other, tell them about your pets likes, dislikes and habits. And if you have children, it gives them peace of mind knowing who's looking after their pet. We were I Florida in June and heard about the flash floods in Gaithersburg at 7pm. At 6.45pm I went in my iPhone, logged in and used the drop down menu to book a visit for that same evening at 8.30pm to check our cats were indoors (as they go in and outdoors through a kitty door) and Tiffany had confirmed my booking within 5 minutes of me booking! That is peace of mind. They pick up your post, water your plants and love your pets.... More than most neighbours nowadays!! read more

The folks at Pet and Home Care saved our vacation plans. Staying overseas, we suddenly lost our usual dog sitter. PHC responded to our online request immediately, asking how they could help. Even though we were out of town, they managed to get in and start working with our pup. Taking such good care of her, quickly learning her quirks and unique needs and handling her feeding and walking needs. Even better, we got daily emails with photos of our pup enjoying her daily walks. Thank you PHC, we were able to have a vacation this year because of you! read more

These guys are amazing. I don't give too man 5 star reviews, but they deserve it. My dog absolutely loves this place. They crew is awesome, and they can fit you in last minute for daycare or a dog walker if you are in a pinch. Would recommended them to anyone in a heartbeat. read more

Tiffany and her team are top notch; super efficient, trustworthy, patient with our crazy schedule, highly responsive and great with our two dogs. The online booking system is simple to use and highly effective. The walkers have access to our house and detailed notes, which can be updated easily, providing special instructions and general guidance. We get a short, written report after each visit, which provides useful updates on the dogs' wellbeing. We have come to regard Pet And Home Care as an essential part of our support structure and I would highly commend the service they offer. read more

I have been using Pet and Home care for years, and I have always been incredibly happy with my service! Everyone that has walked Charlotte (who can be a handful as an 85lb willful Bloodhound) has been great, and genuinely seems to care about her and her well-being in the daily notes that they leave (and texts in cases that warranted quicker attention!). I have an erratic schedule at times, and the folks at Pet and Home Care have always been graciously accommodating. If you are in need of care for your pet, I highly recommend getting in touch with them! read more

While I have not used Pet and Home Care for one year I just realized I have not given this fine business the high review it deserves. For many years, my two dogs were walked every other week day. There were times I needed another walk on a given week due to my work schedule and H&PC was always able to accommodate me with advanced notice. There were also times I needed someone to stay overnight at my house to care for my two dogs and two cats. What a God-send H&PC is! Don't forget - H&PC also helps with watering plants, picking up the mail/newspapers and such when you are on vacation. The key is to plan ahead and give Tiffany advanced notice. You and your pets are in very good hands with Home and Pet Care! read more

We've had Tiffany and team watch our dogs for years. I often have to contact PHC at the last minute for in home visits due to unplanned travel. Got a referral from a client for Pet and Home Care. My dog and I are SO happy. She gets so excited when I drive her there to board when we travel. I can tell she really likes it here, and the staff seems to love pets. I enjoy getting a picture when we are out of town, and I know that my dog is happy and healthy while at Pet and Home Care. I can recommend this boarding kennel wholeheartedly. Just know your dog needs to have a meet & greet before you can make a reservation to be sure they aren't aggressive with other dogs. :) read more

These guys are awesome! My schedule is pretty last minute and they always accommodate. They know dogs so well and even when I got a new dog they asked me all about her and what she needed. My dogs always come back on time and happy. They do drop off and pick up which is so convenient to my crazy schedule. When I leave town I know they are in good hands. I don't worry at all. read more

We've been using Pet and Home Care to cat-sit for us since we moved to Maryland 18 months ago. Their service has been excellent! Once you've registered with them, requesting services online is super fast and easy. On several occasions, we have requested services at the last minute, and Pet and Home Care has ALWAYS been able to help us. Even on holidays! I have found their service to be very consistent and reliable. Each sitter leaves detailed notes about each visit. And whenever we've requested it, the sitters have called and/or texted us with updates. Reliable, easy to use, and fairly priced. Overall I'm very happy with Pet and Home Care! read more

I have been working with Erica for a few months at this point, and she has been a lifesaver! She is always on time to walk our Lucy, always leaves a note and sends me a text to let me know everything is ok! I had no issue handing my keys over to her and letting her come into my house everyday, she just gave off that warm and fuzzy. We have also used her services for a weekend when we were out of town for one night. Erica came over, walked Lucy fed her and played with her for a bit, which was super nice! I don't know what we ever did without a dog walker, and specifically Erica! I would recommend her to anyone that has a dog and needs a walker! read more

I love Pet and Home Care. Every time we go away we know our kitty Leia is in great hands. I love that we get daily emails with pictures of our cat-girl so we know she's well taken care of. They're also really great about bringing in any mail or boxes left outside. I also love their online scheduling system, since I do everything online! Stella and Lewey just spent 10 days at the"resort." Needless to say, I felt extraordinarily guilty for leaving my babies for so long. I'll have no hesitation next time, now that I've found Pet and Home Care. I called frequently in the beginning and the staff was warm and already familiar with my dogs' personalities. As I relaxed, I called less, particularly since I was receiving pictures of them nearly daily. Stella is picky with a sensitive stomach, so I packed their food for the stay. I miscalculated. When the staff noticed they were going to run short, they contacted me and I had an Amazon delivery sent there. Kevin, Kiera, and Jana went above and beyond to give me peace of mind and to make the pooches' stay a great experience for all of us. Plus they came home and slept for days from all the fun they had! They'll be going back for sure. read more

I used Pet and Home Care's services when I lived in Maryland. I was so impressed with their reliable services as well as the love and care they gave to my animals. Tiffany and company at Pet and Home Care are just awesome. I've had to travel a bit lately and had some late changes in plans. They have always been very accommodating to my schedule changes. I can input changes into the forms based on pet behavior for them to always have the latest info on the needs of my animals. I have 4 geriatric cats, so knowing their quirks and behaviors is important information for any caregiver, especially when checking older animals who may not be feeling well. I receive periodic updates via email, and more detailed daily information when I get home. They took care to water my plants, check for hairballs or other pet accidents, and get my mail. I use a lockbox for the key, and have a home alarm system. They were easily able to accommodate both with no difficulty. A class act all the way around - very happy with the service received!!! read more
