We all love and adore pets there all are very special in their own way. I rescued a very sweet and skittish terrier mix named Mindy, a little over a year ago. I definitely needed a home groomer for her, after much research and recommendations from vets and behaviorist Hannah's name was highly recommended. Mindy is still working through her fear, but Hannah and her are doing quite well I'm happy to report I highly recommend Hannah for special needs dogs. So today i contacted Hannah providing all my info via text this morning, i get a few txts back asking his breed and age. Fast forward at late afternoon i txt her back on regarding to get a scheduled appt and she replies that she doesn't feel comfortable cos of his age, never heard this before in the other five past groomer's i've had on top of that she wasted my entire day waiting for her reply, thanks Hannah way to give a possible new client a head start. Update in response to: Hannah if you didn't want to take a senior dog of that age, maybe you need to update your website and not lead potential customer's along a leash, could have not txted you all that info just to get denied, its okay I will be rebooking with another mobile groomer. read more

Best Groomer my two corgis Monroe and Kobe has ever had. She left them really nice treats to have after grooming was completed. She drove out in bad weather and really took care of my dogs. I would highly suggest her if anyone needs mobile dog grooming! read more

My husband and I found Hannah with As the Fur Flies after searching online, and we couldn't be more thankful for her. While we love our dog dearly, we've come to realize (after trying ourselves) that he's a bit of a jerk when it comes to grooming. We've been through several different highly rated groomers, and had some horrible experiences (3 nails cut below the quick all in one visit, bad cuts that needed vet attention). I understand our dog can be difficult, but Hannah hasn't flinched. The cut she gives our dog is far and beyond what any of the other groomers we've used have done - our dog looks better than he ever has after any grooming, and we have absolutely zero complaints. Hannah is an amazing groomer who cares about the dogs. She's also incredibly trustworthy, as she's allowed our dog back into our home with the door open, and reliable. I can say without hesitation that she is the best groomer we've ever used, and that she is well worth any price difference from Petco or other groomers. She does a phenomenal job and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer in the Frederick area, or anyone willing to travel to use her services. read more

I have a lot of frustration. Mostly because we needed a lot of grooming to our dog. She is Long hair and hadn't been touched since summer. besides butt trims. I warned her there was things that made her anxious. So to do the best she could. The fact I was charged a full hour price (which she was only out there for) but only to have washed her. Not even a trim to the butt or nothing. 110$ for a wash. I would have rather got a call saying she was too anxious she rather not groom her and yeah maybe charge half that. Now I have to get another place, so one groom is probably cost me near 300$. just no ok and bad Business. I'm still pulling knots out her a few days later. read more

Hannah did an amazing job grooming our rescue Pomeranian!! His coat can get crazy knotted and he can be a *bit* grumpy as he's still not used to being pampered and brushed out. It was so nice to be able to work from home while she took care of everything, what a convenience! He looks great and she was so sweet and patient with him. She even vacuumed up the massive amounts of fur, leaving my home cleaner than it was before she arrived. She also did a fabulous job trimming our lab mix's nails, which I have trouble with since they're so thick and dark. Her prices are similar to what I paid at other groomers, but it was a much less stressful experience for me and my pups. She is very professional, easy to work with and clearly cares very much about animals. I highly recommend Hannah's services! read more
