Day Care Drop Off

Dogizone is fantastic -- my dog absolutely loves going there! You can tell right away that the staff genuinely enjoy their work and care deeply about the animals. Rose is a standout. Her warm smile and helpful attitude make every visit feel personal and welcoming. She's one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Milton has been incredible with training. His calm, confident approach has made a big difference in my dog's behavior -- and in my confidence as an owner. And I can't say enough good things about Denys in grooming. My dog is so at ease with him -- he has this calm, peaceful presence, almost like a dog-whispering Buddha. I always know my pup is in great hands. Dogizone is the total package: caring, professional, and full of people who truly love what they do.

Till recently, my experience with divisions has been flawless. Yet, on my recent "grooming appointment" was a "terrible mess". I hope this does not happen to any beloved pup again. My initial appointment was a month ago. As they never confirmed the appointment, they rescheduled for another date transferring over the 50 dollar deposit. On the day of the grooming, I checked-in requesting his ear hairs trimmed, paw pads trimmed, anal glands expressed, whiskers trimmed, and his hair cut short. The "groomer", Dennis, took my dog agreed to do all requests and took my dog. At that time, neither the "groomer" or the person who checked me in told me this is not a "grooming" but that I was booked for a "full bath" ( which was informed later to me during my complaints.) . 1.5 hours later my husband picked up my dog washed with neither the paws pads trimmed or whiskers trimmed. I immediately called to complained within an hour of picking up my dog and was informed I would received a call back. No call back was received for two hours, so I called back and now was informed this was not a "grooming " but a "full bath appointment ". Also, "Dennis" is not a groomer since they don't have groomers on weekends and he is only a "bather". Finally, Dennis did indeed trimmed my dogs ear hairs, while giving him a cut on his ear. On top of this, my dogs anal glands leaked within two hours of being "expressed". 1. My services scope was not clarified even though I informed clearly what areas and how I want my dog groomed upon check-in. 2. I was charged 91 usd ( including deposit) which is the price of grooming. The full bath service was informed to be 59.95. 3. The "general manager " I talked to in the phone needs to get a response from general manager. Pictures of proof was email with no response. 4. A follow up email was sent to Dogizone on the same day with a response " Regan is attached to this email, she is our general manager and will be able to further assist you. " Interestingly, 5 days later and there is no response from the general manager. They were one of the top dog groomers but are NOW truly unorganized and are charging for services not performed.

Grooming: I don't whats happened to this place. I take my Morkie in every 6 weeks. The first signs of trouble were 12 weeks ago when he was groomed a bit uneven but I though that maybe the groomer had an off day. We took him back on 8/1 and my friend picked him up so I could take my kiddo to an appointment. She told me he did not look well groomed. The pictures show a very choppy uneven job with his tail all matted. We tip our groomers well because we appreciate them, but Im really disappointed. I called Dogizone as soon as I saw him and the left a message. I also emailed. No contact has been made even though staff said management would call on 8/1 or 8/2. It's now 8/5 so we will be looking for a new groomer. The first three pics is the 8/1 job. The fourth picture is what we used to get from them.

Happy pup at Playcademy!

We absolutely LOVE DogiZone! It's the one stop shop for everything we need. The management (Kieran) is great and accommodating! My puppy absolutely adores the trainers (George, Jess, Milton, Alex, Candace and Shannon) and they are very knowledgeable. Thomas and Matt give great advice of dog products and food. They even deliver! The Playcademy program is the absolute best. Coach John is truly passionate about his job. He makes all the dogs feel that they are his #1 favorites. If I could, I would send my puppy to Playcademy every day!

Ask the Community - DogiZone

Do they train during boarding?

They offer all sorts of training opportunities. Yes, one of the options is board and train.

Do you allow puppy birthday parties at your facility?

At the current time we do not offer space rental for outside events such as birthday parties. We do plan to open a 5000 sq foot expansion in the next 3 months and will be offering space rentals at that time. Thank you for inquiring.

How much are the training/obedience sessions per pup?

Prices vary based on the type of program you choose. We offer private lessons, group classes and boot camps. We suggest you start with a training evaluation which will allow us to review which option is best for your dog.

So far, so good. I…read morelearned about Pup Scouts Dog Care because I saw it from the window of a nearby gym. Since I was planning to go on an international trip very soon, I decided to stop by and inquire about its boarding services. I thought Henry, the owner, did a wonderful job explaining the ins and outs of Pup Scouts' boarding services during our impromptu meeting. He even provided a quick tour of the facility. While the boarding situation seems pretty standard, I was impressed to learn that it is a cage-/crate-free environment. Prior to booking a stay, the dog must complete 10 hours of of doggy daycare. I was not surprised by this stipulation. However, I was shocked (in a positive way) to learn that the 10 hours of doggy daycare is free. While Pup Scouts is a business, this showed me that they are interested in ensuring that the dog is a good fit rather than just focusing on profits. Online booking makes things pretty easy for reserving a spot. In most cases, I have been able to reserve slots for doggie daycare a few hours before dropping off the dog (e.g., booking in the morning for an afternoon stay). In terms of price, I think Pup Scouts is on par (if not slightly lower) to compared to other places in the area. While I've met only a few members of the staff, both persons were very professional and seemed to really care about working with dogs. During every instance of dropping off and picking up my pup, 1-2 customers would highlight how much they enjoyed working with Pup Scouts.

She is well socialized and has a lovely geriatric older fur-sibling with whom she is tightly bonded. We had an unexpected family situation and were sure we would struggle to find the right accommodation for her. She is very affectionate but suffers from a bit of separation anxiety. Pup Scouts was incredible. They ticked all of the boxes - no crates, 24/7 staff supervision, flexible drop off and pick up - like ANY TIME. Henry was so friendly and understanding. From the start - he answered all of my questions at the meet & greet, and did a wonderful job of introducing other dogs to our little one. He was methodical and thoughtful in integrating her into the established "pack". He is incredibly gentle and affectionate and she took to him immediately. All of the staff were incredible. Having a live web-cam to check in on our little fur-baby at any time was so helpful in keeping our spirits calm and reassuring us that she was being well cared for. Pup Scouts is fantastic!

Brandi & Perry were amazing! Highly recommend working with them…read more We adopted a one year old mixed breed, Tuck, a few months ago. He's very sweet but started to get rambunctious to the point that my remote work felt challenging. He also started jumping or freezing when he saw other dogs on walks, and he occasionally barked or growled and men. We weren't sure if it was the start of aggressive behavior or just the result of a shelter dog that hasn't been exposed. After doing our research, we decided to do the 3 week behavior modification board and train program. We were really impressed from beginning to end. They shared a ton of information upfront, walked us through their facility (we opted to drop him off) and sent pictures and updates every evening. It became clear right away that they both have a very deep understanding of dogs, as well as a real respect and love for them. Tuck loved them! The best part was the "transition" day when Perry brought Tuck back and spent the day teaching us everything they've worked on together. We are first time dog owners so generally going in pretty blind. Perry gave us a 101 on dogs and the importance of clear and consistent communication. He talked through all of the layers of training and how/why it is effective. We felt this part was SO helpful for us to understand how to be better owners. Then we walked Tuck around the neighborhood with Perry guiding us and then spent time addressing indoor behaviors too. He was flexible and stayed until we felt comfortable with everything. This is a long review so the TLDR: finding a trainer is a big decision and investment so we wanted to get it right. Brandi & Perry were really incredible and beyond our expectations!! Truly worth every penny! Tuck has been doing really great at home and outside since being home. I've been able to work full days with him holding "place" on his cot, which would have been unheard of before!

Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Side note: it's worth doing 3 weeks versus 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark is when Pebbles really started to understand her marks and cues. From here there is so much more that can be refined and Brandi/Perry really capitalize on that threshold being crossed!

Our last three visits have been frustrating, but this final experience was the breaking point. I brought my Border Collie in with very specific, detailed instructions for a "pet trim" to improve her comfort and hygiene: Detailed scissoring and blending on the legs to avoid blunt, choppy cuts. Thinning shears to reduce density on her tail while maintaining the "flag" look. A "tunnel belly" and sanitary trim for cooling. Instead of the skilled scissor work I requested, they took the absolute "easy way out." They finished her entire grooming in 30 minutes (it usually takes an hour), and when I picked her up, she had been shaved to a 1/8th inch "puppy cut" all over. For a double-coated breed, this is devastating to their ability to regulate temperature. When I called to address this, they claimed I asked for an "all-over trim." In what world does a request for a blended, functional trim result in a total shave-down? To make matters worse, the staff member hung up on me, saying they were "really busy" and offered zero accommodation or apology for ignoring my instructions. It is incredibly disappointing to see a business treat a long-time customer with such blatant disregard. They clearly prioritize speed and high turnover over actual grooming technique and customer service. We will not be returning.
