If you so choose to stick with the story you claim, then you've made us feel satisfied that we did not leave our dog with you. We received great communication prior to boarding our dog, and were assured that all of the kennels were 5' by 10' and that we would be able to bring our dog's crate that he is extremely attached to and sleeps in every night with blankets covering it and that he would be able to sleep there during his stay. We were told both by the emails we received and publicly visible on the website that we would receive picture updates each day and we felt like this would be a great fit for us, as we rarely leave our dog overnight anywhere. We made sure to let them know that our boy can struggle warming up to people at first, and we were assured it would all be okay. I verified again at drop-off that we would like as many photos and updates as possible and that we were very nervous to leave him. We also explained that his ID tags are on his harness that he was wearing and that he needs to wear it the whole time he is there. Also at drop off, we were told that the first night, our dog would be in a smaller kennel and that his crate wouldn't fit, but the second night they would be able to use it for him to sleep in. We were a tad confused because we had been told that all the kennels were 5' by 10', and his crate was only 3' by 4'. But we disregarded it as they said they would cover the door to his crate at night for him. We were gone for three whole days, and received only one photo the whole time with zero update on what he was doing or how he was. We only received the photo after emailing them in the middle of our trip to see if he was doing okay because we hadn't heard anything. We did not receive any updates after that. At pick up, our dog was not wearing his harness and we were told that they couldn't figure it out even though we requested it be kept on him the entire time. We asked if he had been able to sleep in his crate at all, and they said no and that they decided it wouldn't work because they wanted him to have room to walk around at night (even though he sleeps in the crate with the door closed every night at home and we had explained that to them). We're still not sure why he couldn't have had his crate in the kennel at night as we were promised and as we requested. After pick-up, our dog began barking out the window from the car at every person or animal or car we passed, which is extremely unlike him. He seemed very overwhelmed. Overall, we were pretty disappointed and don't feel as if we got what we paid for. We also paid extra for them to take him on three nature walks and were never told if they actually did. We spoke to another family at pickup and they mentioned that they had received multiple photos each day, so we were just confused and to how we fell through the cracks. We are thankful for the one picture we received and that the staff complimented how well he did, but we're still not sure what he did the whole time he was there or how it really went. He came home alive and appears to be safe and fed, so that is why we gave two stars. We will be using a private dog sitter in the future.​

I was late, i haven't gotten a cell number so I couldn't notify her. My dog is a high energy dog, that is why i chose a farm. I left him there for 11 days. I haven't heard from her until the 5th day. She didnt respond on my voice mail or email. Then, I finally got a text (no pictures). When i came back, i was assured my dog adjusted well. I saw that his nose was all rubbed against the bedding in his crate. I have no idea how much exercise he got since i havent received any pictures or updates. The hair grew out between his paw pads, means he wasn't running much. The first day at home he had lots of energy. I was expecting him to be exhausted. Since, when i got there, there were only crated dogs, i have no idea about their daily schedule. My dog wasn't as Happy as usaly when he got home previously from other dog boarders. But to get the facts…read morestraight. 1) I contacted my sitter directly because the Pet Stop was not timely in in responding to our requests for a sitter, I would not have had to do this if she was professional enough to answer our calls or email in a timely manner and ran her business professionally. she was afraid of losing her commission that's all. 2) She never called the police on us, but when she refused to return my keys at the end I had to threaten to call the police to force her to return them, would you want someone to keep your keys that had just screamed at you? 3) I never raised my voice to her when discussing our problems. She began ranting and raving and screaming. Her communication skills are very poor and she needs to learn how to speak with paying clients. So once again with the abundance of qualified sitters in the area why even take a risk on the Pet Stop.

The owner came over to meet our pup before we started services for him and after each visit she leaves detailed notes about how his walks were. It is very nice to come home every night from work and see how he did throughout the day, especially when we he was so little and just getting accustomed to crate training and house training. Additionally, we left our pup over night with the Pet Stop one time thus far. They were awesome! He had a big fenced in yard to run and play in and the owners dogs provided great socialization and playtime for our pup. He was happy to see me when I picked him up, but you could really tell he made himself right at home. This made me feel so much better than boarding him in a crate overnight. Recently our little guy got into a bottle of Advil at home which required monitoring of him afterwards to watch for any overdose symptoms. Of course, we called Pet Stop to help us with this. The owner kept him at her house during the day so he was under constant supervision and was very attentive in letting me know how he was feeling. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Our pup loves both the owner and the walker that comes to the house, I've been home on occassion when they have arrived and he is always absolutely ecstatic to see them, so I know they treat him well when I am away. The owner is also very flexible. We have work schedules that can sometimes change erratically and she has always been very accommodating to us. The prices are extremely reasonable as well for the upstanding service that you receive. I would totally recommend this company a million times over! I love my pets to death and I would not just let anyone care for them. The Pet Stop has my full trust and gratitude for the great service they provide their clients!

Each dog gets a raised bathing tub with a ramp, and a generous amount of space enclosed by a 1/2 wall. The staff was friendly and attentive, also! It was our first time in, and they took their time to show us the ropes and were available throughout if we had any questions. The best part of the whole thing - YOU DON'T NEED TO CLEAN UP. No more dog hair clogging the shower drain, no scrubbing the bathtub, no wet dog shaking off all through the house. You also get a stamp card - after your 9th wash, the next is free. Reasonable prices; for a large dog the cost is $12. I will absolutely be coming back again and again.
