Our beloved fur baby of 12 and a half years had cancer in several places. His quality of life deteriorated quickly and as much as we wanted to prolong his time with us, we knew the time had come to make decisions. Places we called to help take the pain away from our buddy boy had a week plus wait for an appointment. One of those places actually recommended Dr. Perry and said she would personally use her if faced with that decision. We called and Dr. Perry was quick to reply. She continued to communicate and reply to our questions and was able to come out very quickly so Hugo could be relieved from the pain he was suffering. Dr. Perry arrived amd immediately her demeanor put our fur baby as well as his puppy brother at ease. She explained each part of the process and what to expect. We questioned our decision to do this...was this the right decision or could we do other things to extend his life. While Dr. Perry did not giver her opinion, she did access and evaluate our fur baby and found his lung function was very low....had lung cancer, and this heart rate was super high..it was far elevated over the normal range. She also gave time to spent with Hugo privately in order to say our good-byes. She even provided information as to what puppy brother might do and how he might act...she was 100 percent right about what puppy boy did and how he might react. She really does know animal behavior. I am so very sad that we were faced with this decision....i wanted more time with our fur baby. However, Dr. Perry solidified and confirmed that this decision was the only and right decision for our fur baby. read more

If you are looking for mobile veterinary care, especially for euthanasia services, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Dr. Perry's conduct during an incredibly emotional moment for my family was cold, unprofessional, and deeply insensitive. From the beginning, she came across as unfriendly and dismissive, answering questions from my mother with short, one-word responses and seeming impatient to move things along. During a moment that required empathy and compassion, her demeanor felt detached and uncaring. After the euthanasia was complete, she asked for my help carrying my dog to her vehicle, which I was more than willing to do. As I laid him down, I became emotional and hugged the towel he was wrapped in. In response, she snapped at me and said, "Get out of my car, I have a mask on for a reason." Losing a pet is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through, and Dr. Perry's behavior made an already heartbreaking situation significantly more painful. Her lack of compassion was honestly shocking to me. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. There are many other mobile veterinary options available, and I sincerely encourage others to choose a provider who values empathy and treats grieving families with kindness and respect. As for any response from the business, I am not looking for an apology or excuses. I am simply sharing my honest experience so potential clients know what to expect. To anyone reading this, I truly wish good health to your pets and hope you find a veterinary provider who shows the compassion this moment deserves. read more

Paralysis which eventually resulted in him not being able to get up on his own. When he had accidents in his bed, wasn't eating and having a hard time breathing, I knew I had to make that tough decision. On the morning of, I had called all over trying to find someone to come to my home. I was either out of service range, the vet wasn't available or I'd have to make arrangements for another company to come pick him up. I had called Dr. Perry and instantaneously she texted me right back. She was thorough, extremely attentive to detail and compassionate. Her services included transporting my boy to the crematorium. She provided me with information on costs as well as the options the crematorium provided. She gave me a price and an exact time she would be at my house. She texted me when she was 15 minutes away and arrived right on time. She explained each step in detail and what to expect. She was kind, gentle and understanding of the situation. She gave us time to be with him and grieve. She worked around me and what I felt comfortable with as well as my boy, as he had ended up in a awkward spot between the couch and coffee table. It was literally one of the hardest days of my life, but Dr. Perry made it bearable. I cannot say enough good things about her. There needs to be more people like her in the world that truly understand that pets are our family. She texted me the day my boy's remains went to the vet. I now have him back home with me and the items I chose to remember him by are beautiful read more

My daughter suggested Dr. Perry when it was time to let our Sonny go. She had Dr. Perry come to her house when their sweet Daisy was ready to say goodbye. I'd never heard of the vet coming to the house, but knew my daughter felt it made a big difference. We knew the time was coming. Sonny had laryngeal paralysis and his back legs no longer functioned. He stopped eating and that week his front legs weakened. That day, he couldn't walk, wouldn't eat, and just looked at me. We both knew. My daughter called Dr. Perry who was able to come within hours. I was shocked and grateful. We had enough time to gather the family. When she arrived, she asked some questions about his illness and current condition which helped assure me that it was time. She gave us as much time as we needed with him after explaining the procedure. Our boy went peacefully, surrounded by his family. She took care of everything following the procedure and even called a few days later to check in on us. She then followed up again once the ashes were delivered along with a paw print in clay. Her compassion and attentiveness created a peaceful and loving environment to say goodbye to our best buddy. Sonny had a sibling, and when the time comes, I take comfort knowing we can again call on Dr. Perry. read more

Dr Perry is the vet you want to be there to help you release your pet from their struggles in this life. Every interaction with her is marked with her genuine empathy both to you and to your pet. Hiring Dr Perry to come to my home was expensive, but worth every penny for the way in which she makes the experience absolutely free of pain, free of fear, free of drama and free of trauma. After a bad experience with the euthanasia of one of my pets a few years ago at our regular vet, all I could think of as the release of my beloved Joe Boy neared was the true horror show it had been for me at the regular vet to release my beloved Stella from her struggles and suffering. My experience on 8/18/25 with Dr Perry was the exact opposite of that. Her superior professionalism, genuine empathy and detailed care made the experience the most gentle goodnight that a pet owner and pet should have when it is time to release the pet. To both the pet and the pet's owner, Dr Perry is truly an angel of mercy in your hour of greatest need. I highly recommend her services to anyone who is faced with making the most painful decision that proves you love your pet when they can no longer go on and need to be released. read more

Dr. Perry came to our home to help us say good-bye to our Newfoundland. She was a very senior dog (14 years old) and her health deterioated rapidly where we had gone from thinking we had a few months to realizing that the time to let her go was already here. Dr. Perry was able to come the day we called on a holiday weekend. Although we were sad...having Dr. Perry there was such a blessing. She was kind and compassionate with our dog and never made us feel rushed. She did an excellent job of giving us a sense of what to expect both during and after. She was very thoughtful in stepping out and giving us privacy but also being very present and available for support. I am so grateful that we didn't need to take our dog to the vets during office hours. Our dog was able to have visitors all day who gave her lots of treats and love. Our dog was calm and comfortable. Having Dr. Perry come to our home to help our dog provided such an immense sense of peace that I don't think we could ever really express how grateful we are to her and how much her presence meant to our family. read more

So grateful to Dr. Perry for helping us say goodbye to our Aggie. Having the procedure done at home allowed our dog to remain comfortable and surrounded by family (including fur brother and sister) in a familiar environment. I felt very supported by Dr. Perry and she explained each step, answered our questions with patience, and gave us all the time we needed. She was very mindful of Aggie's and talked to me outside before she came in so that I understood everything that would happen. Surprisingly, Aggie didn't mind Dr. Perry entering our home. She gave her a quick shot to make her fall asleep and slipped out so it could take effect. Only after Aggie was asleep on her favorite bed, did Dr. Perry come back to administer the medication. Truly no fear or stress for Aggie in her final moments. She allowed our other dogs to be present and explained to us what she saw in their reactions to Aggie's passing. We all found great comfort in that especially. I'm so glad that Dr. Perry takes on this difficult type of work with such kindness and professionalism. Thank you. read more

When we had to make the heartbreaking decision to send our orange boy, Frodo, to the Undying Lands we knew we wanted to do it at home but because of the short timing we didn't think we'd be able to do it. While we were at the vet we called around to several different locations, no one could do it and we thought we'd have to say goodbye to him at the vet. But then Dr. Perry messaged me and told me she could come. We got to spend a beautiful afternoon and evening with our boy. When Dr. Perry arrived my partner and I were an absolute mess of emotions. Dr. Perry was so unbelievably kind and respectful of us and our boy. She explained everything very well in both the messages and when she arrived. We were able to give our baby a beautiful send off. We appreciated her also partnering to take care of things after the passing. She also checked in with us and gave us any needed updates. Dr. Perry helped us through one of the hardest moments of our lives and I appreciate her making the time for us and for the kindness she showed our family. Thank you Dr. Perry. read more

3 weeks ago we had to make the decision to assist our girl cross the rainbow bridge. Pumpkin told us it was time. I reached out to Perry Integrative Veterinary Care, LLC, recommended by our Vet Oppssum Pike Clinic. Dr. Perry was incredibly responsive and direct with communication, and was able to come quickly for in-home euthanasia service. When Dr. Perry arrived, her energy was so comforting and put all of us at ease. She explained the process and informed us what to expect as we went through. We were able to take our time with Pumpkin, holding her and loving on her until the end. Dr. Perry made this a beautiful and peaceful experience for all of us. Less than 2 weeks later, she personally delivered Pumpkin's ashes and paw/nose prints. We absolutely love that she is holistic and integrative in how she practices veterinary medicine. We highly highly recommend her services when you have to make this impossible decision for your baby. I'm so grateful human like her exist. read more

Dr. Perry was amazing and helped each and every one of us in the house with my cat's passing. She reassured me that my cat's tumor was very very obvious and he was ready to go, and she pointed out the exact moment his heart stopped so I knew he had passed. She also informed me of my dog's recognition that his brother was no longer alive, and it made it so much easier for me to comfort him and myself. She told me "he is with your dad now" because she listened closely when my mom told her that my father had passed away. This could not have been a more comfortable experience given what we were losing. Dr. Perry helped me and my fur family so much, I can't imagine the strength of someone who watches the pain of losing pets like that every day but still does everything she can to make it comfortable for our pets and families. I will always recommend Dr. Perry if the time comes where someone has to let their little furry one go. read more

Max, our 19 year old Tabby cat was suffering from bladder stones and was unable to urinate. He had trouble with this in the recent past but this time was not able to urinate for 24 hours and was in significant pain, likely with high blood urea nitrogen and nausea. Since Max was old, we decided to have him put down to relieve his suffering but wanted to have it done in our home. We called CARE Veterinary Center in Frederick MD who recommended Dr. Tia Perry for this purpose. Dr. Perry answered our call on the second ring and arrived at our home 30 minutes later. This was Memorial Day, 2020, 6:00 pm. After a brief assessment, she provided us options and we chose to have Max put down in lieu of surgery. With the utmost respect, she compassionately provided the euthanasia service in our living room. We highly recommend Perry Integrative Veterinary Care, LLC. read more

I am so grateful for Dr. Perry. I had to make the hard decision to end my beloved dog's suffering. My dog, Pippa, was always very stressed at the animal hospital and I knew I wanted to give her the most peaceful passing I could, and that would be at home with her family. Dr. Perry was able to come out the same day for a late evening appointment. Pippa was almost always a little hesitant with strangers, but Pippa got up and greeted Dr. Perry with a wag and a sniff, and even sat down beside her like they were old friends. Even with Pippa feeling so sick, she was comfortable with her. Dr. Perry was so empathetic and thoughtful. She made an incredibly sad time so much easier. It takes a very special person to do what she does and with so much compassion, and I will always be grateful for her and the final act of love she allowed me to give Pippa. read more

Dr. Perry was so amazing, compassionate, and understanding when I had to put my sweet girl to sleep, just 5 days shy of her 15th birthday. She explained everything to me beforehand so I knew what to expect, and came to my home for the process. Being able to say my final goodbyes with my sweet girl in my arms, in the comfort of our own home, meant so much to me and made the transition easier and more personable. Dr. Perry also arranged all of the aftercare for me and even came to my home to drop off her ashes to me personally. I will always have a special place in my heart for Dr. Perry and hold her in high regard for making such an incredibly difficult, heartbreaking day and decision as smooth and comforting as possible. read more

Tia was a god send in our time of need. From the very first phone conversation to the day she brought home our pup she was hands down amazing. Her compassion, empathy, and professionalism is unmatched. She referred to our pup as our baby instead of "dog." She was available for questions, communicated well and ultimately served us when we needed her the most. We knew our beloved pup was nearing the end and we wanted him to pass in the comfort of his home, not a vet. Finding Tia claimed to be a challenge but I will be sharing her to all of my pet lovers because the way she handed everything is how the loss of a pet should be handled. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for serving our pup Leonard so well. read more

I had to make that most difficult decision recently to have my 16 year old dog put to sleep. Going to the vet's office always made her anxious, so I was looking for a vet who would come to my house to do the euthanization. Dr. Perry was referred to me and she promptly replied to my inquiries. She came to my house to do the procedure. She was extremely kind, compassionate and caring during the whole time. She was willing to give me as much time as I needed to let my beloved pet go. She knew how to make the day a little easier and we even were able to laugh a little bit through all the tears. I would recommend Dr. Perry to anybody looking for a vet to come to your home for any reason based on this. read more

I called a few places to see who could help us say goodbye to our senior dog. Most of the usual recommendations were booked out for a week, but Dr Perry came both recommended and was very responsive and available. This was the first time our family had to make this kind of decision, and it was for our first dog. Dr Perry was so kind throughout and made me feel like this was the right thing to do. She was very clear in her communication of what to expect, which made things a little less scary. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for end of life care for their pet; it's an awful experience, but I'm grateful she could give our dog a peaceful send off. read more

Dr. Perry is extraordinary. When our older dog was at the end of her life and only suffering would be in her future, this dear soul helped her pass on in a way that was with dignity and love. Dr. Perry came to our home, explained everything and even made sure our other dog had the ability to know what was going on with her 14 year old buddy. It's always painful to let go of an animal you love. Our "Best Friend" left this earth in her favorite bed, surrounded with immense love from my husband, myself, and the dog she helped raise. There are no words . . . I would highly recommend Dr. Perry. read more

Dr Perry was very responsive when I reached out to discuss possible urgent in-home euthanasia for our beloved dog Bridget. She was non-judgmental, respectful, calm and reassuring and provided transparency related to availability and cost. When unfortunately our dog worsened quickly, she was able to come the next morning. When you want the final care you give to your fur baby to be a pain-free, peaceful and gentle goodbye, having Dr Perry provide that was invaluable. I wish nobody ever needed her services but we did and I am grateful to have had her kindness and compassion during that time. read more

Our cat, Sophia, was living with cancer and took an unexpected turn for the worse in the evening. I called Dr. Perry at around 10:15pm and she arrived at about 11:15pm, as an emergency appointment. She was really good at explaining things, which was important to me, as out two teens were witnessing their first euthanasia. Dr. Perry gave us time alone with Sophia following sedation and following the final injection. I also appreciated that forms were populated with information i relayed during the phone call. Excellent care and highly recommend. read more
