When My wife told me she found highly recommended trainers, Braveheart, I looked them up and panicked....but I looked up a Pit Bull breading place in southern Virginia, not this Kennel and heir trainers in Maryland (both where named Braveheart). This morning we had to put our wonderful friend to sleep. She was 14 years of wonderful, fun, kind, and gentle memories. While she had most of these traits built in, Braveheart was a strong factor in her starting out right (well almost starting out, we was found roaming in Fairfax Virginia before we recused her, she was put into training at about 1 year old). She adored the Braveheart team. She was happier and better behaved after training. And, didn't even mind when we had to kennel her twice after that training. The team built very kind kennels (heated and cooled) with each stall having access to outside. They walked her several times a day. And, whenever you went there, you would see them working with one or more dogs. All the dogs looked very well treated and happy. While today is a sad day for Me and my Wife, I am truly thankful for Braveheart Kennels and the impact on our best friend, Chloe Thank you Braveheart, Bruce

After doing a bit of research and getting past poor experiences with Petco Grooming, I made an appointment to bring her in. The building doesn't do much in the way of building your confidence, and the inside is pretty gloomy, but Rebecca who groomed our dog was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive to listening to how we wanted her groomed, and acknowledged her age and mentioned how they would look out for her and give her breaks etc. when I picked her up, she looked perfect! Exactly what we wanted, and even better than our regular groomer. I will be switching to bringing Sadie here from now on to have Rebecca groom her. She looked great, and our dog didn't seem overly stressed out and she was super happy. I would highly recommend bringing your dog here, and definitely recommend Rebecca. She is awesome!

But what has me writing the review is that they specifically did something I asked them not to. I paid for 3 dogs to have grooming and very specifically told them to not cut the tail of one of them. We wanted it left long. When I went back to pick them up the tail had been shaved. They claimed it was because of matting but if they had left it alone like I had asked them to they wouldn't have even had a razor going through the hair to even know there was some small mats. It took 2 years to grow that tail out.

Sandy posted pictures of the puppies on the YBR website and Facebook page on a weekly basis until they were 8 weeks old and ready to go to their furever homes. Sandy was always there to answer any questions even after I brought the puppy home. The puppy has been great and he is so much fun. He has a lot of energy and gives us a lot of unconditional love. Everyone who meets the puppy talks about how handsome he is. He is very social and playful. He has made a lot friends and everyone in the neighborhood knows him. Our mail man calls him Mr. Happy. Not the lazy type of dog but needed some training at the beginning. Overall, it has been a great decision to get my first puppy from YBR and I would highly recommend YBR to anyone.

Unfortunately we changed our minds and returned the dog within a week to this breeder-- They have refused to refund any money. They advised me to try sell the puppy on my own and would send buyers to me AFTER all their puppies were sold. I was not comfortable selling this puppy after taking the puppy to our vet and finding 2 ear infections,runny eyes, dry skin, parasites & vaginosis -- I gave both the medications and vet bill to the breeder when I returned the puppy within 6 days.... since they had just started to sell the other 8 week old puppies and could easily sell her. We hoped they would rethink their Refund Policy and reimburse us for our medical cost or any portion of what we paid for the puppy once they sold her. We were shocked at their rudeness to both my husband and myself when we called to follow through. We are now out the money for the dog plus the $260 for vet bills and medications trying to do what was right for the puppy. We hope this prevents anyone else from having the same experience.

Kristy, (owner/operator), was wonderfully responsive and helpful in setting up our pet sitting experience. We traveled for 10 days and never once worried about our 2 (fur babies) cats, Jack and Sally. Joleen, who cared for them daily, sent regular texts with photos and updates. She was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our cats' comfort, (and ours!). She was funny and quick to respond, just like a close family member! We knew Joleen took great care of them when we returned to find them, (and our home!) just as content as we had left them. My husband and I were extremely impressed with Beyond Barks.
