All hail the lavender latte! Took a day trip to Duluth and wanted to explore the coffee scene. Found this place through a quick Yelp search and I am so happy we checked it out. The baristas were super nice and patient as we took our time deciding from all the yummy coffee options. I ended up getting my usual latte with lavender syrup and was very happy with my decision. Would highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in the Duluth area!

Very cute modern esthetic. Staff is very friendly and prompt. Lots of seating in the front, back and upstairs! They also have outdoor seating if you have your pets or nice weather permits. We ordered a chai latte that was good and a small kombucha from their fridge section. They serve breakfast and lunch items as well as bakery goods.

The best coffee we've had in Minnesota!! They were super friendly and the coffee shop is ADORABLE. I got the honey lavender latte and my husband got a cappuccino. It was super good! We will be back anytime we're up north!

I had an incredible maple cinnamon latte. Great atmosphere and good spot to work on things or chat with a friend.

Wow. And their coffee is great too!

Yellow Bike is a 5/5 coffee shop. They have the best coffee in the Duluth area - from straight black coffee to speciality drinks. Additionally, their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and made with fresh ingredients; highly recommend the sausage and veggie breakfast sandwich. The atmosphere at their Hermantown brick and mortar is very cute with plenty of seating. Also, a good place to study, free wifi included. If you're looking for a gift - they have art, clothing, mugs, coffee beans, gift cards, etc for sale!

Stoped in to kill some time before a meeting and it was my first time here! The employees were very friendly and welcoming and gave me suggestions on what to try when I asked for a recommendation. I had a vanilla cold Brew with cream and it was very good and a good value. The interior is very pleasant and modern but cozy. I will definitely be stopping by again and will recommend it.

Not good barista was rude and they don't have smoothies like they say they do barely any pastries and not a good coffee selection.

I saw they have frozen pretzels- which is perfect because I didn't want to eat it right now. I got two of those to go. I also got a blueberry danish for my husband- he approved! And two loaves of bread- the cheese curd and the rosemary onion in the one pound option. (They have a two pound and it's huge!) We enjoyed the bread toasted with butter and for avocado toast during the week. They offered to slice the rosemary onion bread but not the cheese curd- there's something about the cheese curd that they said they don't slice it. I can't remember. But it's fine/ we sliced our own. The pecan rolls and the cinnamon rolls looked amazing but I'm more of a savory gal. The shop was super cute. They have a sourdough class coming up. They have coffees and couches. Bathrooms for customers. Some merchandise for sale. They even have a monthly club where you can pick up or have your items delivered to you! Wow! I wish I lived in the area just for this bakery. And for me, part of the experience is slowing down to enjoy the moment. No small part of that enjoyment comes from drinking my coffee in a proper vessel. It could be a ceramic coffee cup, or a bowl, or a heavy glass, or a demitasse cup on a saucer. Different shops can have their own style, but if you refuse to serve a well crafted drink in something other than paper, that's an issue for me. Especially when the proper cups are right there! I see them. And I get that washing dishes can be a pain in the neck, but coffee shops can charge what they charge for beans and water because they are providing an experience. Sorry. Thanks for hearing me out. Beyond that, this place is lovely. The people are friendly, which should not be a surprise in Minnesota. The cortado was good, but hard to fully appreciate or evaluate in its sad little paper cup. My family was happy with their drinks. And the outdoor space is simply magical. This is a tucked away little modern coffee oasis in a remote part of Minnesota and I'm very glad it exists and can provide me and others the energy boost needed after hours of nature walks in the area.
