In Duluth for only a couple hours since I have a long layover.. and decided to leave the airport to get some food at Yellow Bike Coffee. It's about less than a 5 minute drive.. The shop is so cute! I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and their daily quiche which were both yummy. The quiche is special with a potato crust.. and I love it. Service was quick. I got distracted by their coffee and cute homemade earrings. The vibe is great, good music and a place to work instead of being trapped in an airport. They also have an upstairs area and plenty of seating. Outside has tons of parking, so come and check it out! read more

Been there a few times would like to go more often but the shop hours do not work with my coffee times. Hours posted on website, google, and elsewhere seem to be wrong or all different. All hail the lavender latte! Took a day trip to Duluth and wanted to explore the coffee scene. Found this place through a quick Yelp search and I am so happy we checked it out. Very cute modern esthetic. Staff is very friendly and prompt. Lots of seating in the front, back and upstairs! They also have outdoor seating if you have your pets or nice weather permits. We ordered a chai latte that was good and a small kombucha from their fridge section. They serve breakfast and lunch items as well as bakery goods. read more

Yellow Bike is a 5/5 coffee shop. They have the best coffee in the Duluth area - from straight black coffee to speciality drinks. Additionally, their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and made with fresh ingredients; highly recommend the sausage and veggie breakfast sandwich. The atmosphere at their Hermantown brick and mortar is very cute with plenty of seating. Also, a good place to study, free wifi included. Stoped in to kill some time before a meeting and it was my first time here! The employees were very friendly and welcoming and gave me suggestions on what to try when I asked for a recommendation. Haven't stopped by since this place was Pelcan Coffee since I don't have a reason to come up to Hermantown. Well, now I do! This place is to pass by on the highway but let this review be the final push you need to pull off for a latte or coffee! I came with my partner and we were dazzled by the tasteful and warm interior design. I have been a barista for many years and I understand the importance of a coffee shop exuding a warm, cozy atmosphere. YB does this with a fun modern twist! My partner had to try the vegan chocolate so they went with a vegan mocha with oat milk. I kept it simple with a vanilla oat milk latte. Both of our drinks were fantastic! Great microfoam and very smooth espresso! We made ourselves comfy on the couch and had our drinks brought out to us! Table service at a coffee shop? How nice and inviting! They also serve Love Creamery ice cream and sorbet here (our favorite ice cream place ever!) And provide a full lunch menu as well with paninis and sandwiches. The staff here were very nice! I already mentioned the table service but were very kind at the counter! This seems like a great spot to get some work done or to just relax and visit with a friend! Well, we wanted to like this place. The $10.95 Smoked Salmon Wrap was on naan bread and had so little salmon all you could taste was the bread and cucumber. BTW, pickle and chips are $1.50 extra. They reference the Park Bench which was across the street, we remember the salmon wraps there and sadly the Yellow Bike Smoked Salmon Wrap (on naan bread) was not in the ballpark. My wife's Cherry Ham Panini was mediocre. The advertised free wifi was a cruel joke, was soooo slowwww. But you could pay for a faster connection. Maybe less concentration on Yellow Bike branded merchandise and more attention on value for the customer. On a positive note the bathroom was very nice. read more

This is my favorite local coffee shop. If you are in the area, this shop has Duluth Coffee Company and many other local favorites on tap. Beer is available too. It's not downtown or by canal, but if you are on top of the hill, do yourself a favor and skip the chains and hit up YBC. read more

I go to Yellow Bike almost five times a week now, I love it so much. The staff is incredibly friendly and started remembering my order almost right away. The scones are delicious and my only complaint is that they're so good they can't make enough of them. (Don't try the raspberry white chocolate-they're mine!) They have a great gluten-free menu. And they have a fabulous variety of hot and cold drinks. I'll take Yellow Bike over Starbucks or Caribou anytime. read more

If you go here, I recommend going inside. We are new to town and went through the drivethru. We paid $6.70 for a latte but it showed up as a charge of $8.71 on our bank statement. We had not been given a receipt. When I went inside to let them know (not asking for a refund), I was told there is a sign outside that you are automatically charged a 15% tip when using the drivethru. The lady was friendly about it so no complaint about the service. Coffee was good, but overall we feel deceived. read more

My husband and I stumbled upon Yellow Bike during our visit to Pike Lake. Their smoothies, coffee, matcha, and GF baked goods (especially the scones) were all fantastic! Service can be a little slow (they are often pretty busy), but it's well worth the wait! We went back several times during our trip and we both highly recommend this local gem! The building and all their decor is super cute too! Try to go between 8-10am and you'll probably be able to get a warm, freshly baked scone--the best!!! read more

This place is fantastic. I haven't written a Yelp review in years and signed on because I feel that strongly about it. Why? Grab a seat. They have excellent coffee (and I consider myself a coffee drinking enthusiast), their food is way above average. Also, THEY HAVE A GIGANTIC, SEPERATE PLAY ROOM. That's good for people with kids and people who want to have a more chill experience. We have a good coffee shop a half mile from our house and will drive 20 minutes to get here if little kids will be joining. Five stars, would recommend. read more

This joint sells a cappucino for $3.50. Contains two shots of espresso. I didn't want that much caffeine, so I asked if they could sell me one with one shot, and knock 50 cents off the price. They refused to accommodate this simple request, or offer any sort of alternative solution. I stood there for a sec, then bailed. I'll never spend a dime there. Yelp is making me give them at least a one star rating. The front door opened, so I guess that's worth a star. read more
