Stopped in for a beverage while walking around the Lincoln Park area with a friend over the weekend. I've had coffee from here a few times before and have always loved my drink - their seasonal items are Always fun. It was pretty full on a Friday morning but the line was short and moved quickly. I ended up mixing it up and getting a matcha latte which was flavored perfectly and not overly sweet. The space itself is so bright and open and in the coolest building with multiple other shops. You can enjoy your order at a table inside, walk around the various stores, or take it to go and hop around the area as so many new spots have opened up. read more

Had a great take out experience here. Excellent coffee (they love whole milk which is a huge plus) and if that's even possible, even better pastries. They have a good selection of chilled canned drinks as well plus some food items like yogurt. The space is wonderfully diverse in terms of seating. They had the front window open to the street where you can sit. Inside is an area where people can sit with their kids. The service was very friendly and helpful. The vibe is warm and very welcoming. 190 Coffee & Tea is such a gem in Duluth. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area. The space is so cozy with plenty of seating, which makes it easy to settle in for a bit. It has that welcoming, open window feel where you can grab a drink to go or sit and relax. They've clearly put thought into making it inviting. The coffee is excellent. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was super smooth with the perfect amount of flavor. I love that they make some of their syrups in house, you can really taste the difference. It feels thoughtful and high quality. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful with recommendations. Overall just a really pleasant experience from start to finish. Such a great spot to hang out, grab a drink, and explore the nearby shops. I'd absolutely go back. read more

Such a cute shop in an up and coming neighborhood. Easy parking and the coffee shop was located in a building with other businesses that all looked fun and I wanted to patronize. I only had time for one but it was a fun stop. Got a 24oz iced americano with coconut cold foam and a hot americano. Both were super good. What a wonderful experience at 190 coffee + tea! A must stop while in Duluth. Definitely one of the top spots. I ordered a vanilla latte that was very smooth + had the perfect notes of vanilla. A plus for them making the flavoring in house. Plenty of seating + a great warm/ cozy feel of a space. Pretty cool to be in a spot where you can grab on the go + peruse the other nearby shops. Always love stopping here when I'm in Duluth! Baristas are always super nice! Parking can be a ehh depending on how busy it is over in this area. Highly recommend stopping here anytime you're in the Duluth! A great place to work from as well from what it looks like. Big fan of the garage door and the bar seating right next to it. read more

Great coffee shop! I like the overall vibe, and there is a lot of space to sit. My wife and I have been here several times and usually can find a spot right away, unless they are really really busy. I really enjoy their turtle mocha, along with their caramel cappuccino, but they've got other great choices as well. It's definitely worth checking out if you're passing through Duluth! My new favorite coffee shop in MN! I'm sad we don't live closer because I'd be there every day. We bought some beans to take with us because we needed it at home. I ordered an iced vanilla cappuccino and it was perfect, they make some of their syrups in house which I love. The employees are all very nice and patient and it's a very cozy and welcoming experience. They have couches and tables so you can lounge and hang out. Would highly recommend! read more

Dog friendly!! This alone makes this shop a 10/10. I stayed at the Enger Lofts for a weekend with my doggie and gal pal. Opening at 7 am, this coffee shop is hip and there are constantly folks walking in and out. The syrup flavors are made in house and of course, there a seasonal drinks on the menu served hot or cold. I got a flavored latte and it was delicious. Make sure to check out the social media pages and website as there are a few random days where yoga classes are hosted. I was not able to make one but this is certainly another draw for me in the future. The best part about my recent visit was that my dog could join me and the shop was festive with the Christmas tree sparkling. Thank you! I look forward to returning. read more

Espresso is nice and smooth, very creamy. True cappuccino, in the 8oz size. Huge shop with plenty of spots to sit. Fairly loud space, and echoey, as it is a loft space. Stopped by for a hot coffee on a cold Duluth day. Staff were very friendly, there were unique seasonal drinks, the croissants were delicious and the coffee was that perfect hot temperature where you can drink it right away. Ambiance was pretty chill - for 2pm(ish) it was busy but not loud. Plus, they share a building with fun shops. Highly recommend! read more

The space itself is located in a building with a few other businesses, which contributes to a semi-open feeling and shared seating spaces. Exposed brick, black tile, and plenty of seating...what isn't to love! Service was good, although I could tell the barista wasn't having the best morning. Ordered a Pumpkin Spice latte and an Iced Caramel Latte. Not too sweet with fun latte art made for a perfect morning cup! I'd frequent this place if I wasn't from out of town! read more

"This part of town is really coming to life in a hipster kind of way," said my boyfriend. He also said, "This shop is really well done, I like the lights, they're like ufos." The coffee is even a little better here, stronger, good flavor. And I love when my latte is served in a real coffee cup with a design in the foam. High class! Fun coffee bar with good lighting and atmosphere. The coffee itself was good too. I did try the rose lemonade Americano(?) and did not like it but that was just a personal preference. Ended up getting another regular americano and being happy with it. This part of Duluth is fun! read more

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The products are top grade and it shows in the flavors that come in each cup of freshly brewed coffee. The decor is casual and inviting without being too cutsie or overdone! Definitely a business that understands customer service and promotes repeat business. UPDATE I was at 190 coffee again this last weekend. They had a latte art competition amongst many regional coffee operations. They had a great set up so that all of the customers could see the latte art on a large screen. Kudos to the team for making it fun, interesting and engaging in their community. read more

Love this place. I have tried every matcha latte in Duluth & Superior and this one is hands down the best. My husband thinks they also have the best pumpkin spice latte in the area. Every staff member is so kind and friendly. My favorite baristas in town. Definitely worth the stop in to give them a try. read more

I'm not a huge coffee drinker in the summer. Winter comes and it's like ritual for me. This is the first time I've been to 190 and I'm on my second Chia already. Ordered another one before I finished the first one, that's how good it was. So smooth and creamy with the oat milk. The spices are perfectly balanced. If I could siphon this into my soul I would do that. I'm basically screwed For. Ever. Because I don't live in Duluth. I'll be dreaming of this Chai for months. I will be back every time I'm here. Stopping here was just what I needed to keep me going on a cross country roadtrip. I was sick of Starbucks, Dunkin, and gas station coffee. I needed my speciality coffee. The crew at 190 helped my fix. They were super friendly, quick, and helpful. I got a cortado as that is my go to, and it did not disappoint. 190 is in a communal building sharing space with other businesses that I wish I had time to go in - local gifts and goods! Will stop back in if I'm ever in Duluth again. It looked like a great environment to get work done or study as well! read more

But after a week of drinking his coffee, we are admittedly bias about the guy. To be clear, we've never met the man we are just punch drunk after a week of bliss and this was on DECAF!! I can't wait to see what the regular tastes like! I had a can of his decaf for over a year now but I'm not a decaf drinker, so it just sat in the cupboard until this week. Almanac's Decaf is better than most regular coffees I've had....I may end up reducing my caffeine intake because I prefer the taste over most coffees I've had. I understand taste us subjective, for reference I'm a Nina's and Amore, in St. Paul, as well as a Spyhouse and Five Watt Minneapolis guy, if that helps. Just ordered 2.5lbs of decaf, some regular Honduras, and a sampler pack. I've never 'ordered' coffee online before, but I absolutely have to have more of this decaf, it's that good! If you're looking for an amazing decaf I can definitely recommend Almanac's Decaf....the only negative was not trying it a year ago. Cheers!

Also apparently dogs are allowed.

The lines were super short and the employees were very nice. The best part, I think, is that there is something to drink for every person in your group! They had a plethora of fun-named beers on tap, THC drinks, and their house made root beer was fantastic. We decided to bring our own food (some delicious Vitta Pizza) to eat with our delicious drinks. They did have a food truck outside and they also have a couple snacks, like pretzels, for purchase at the bar. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat by the fire and learned a new board game. Very cute brewery. Highly recommend.

Realizing now that I did not take a picture of the menu which was a mistake because a quick google informed me they must mix up their menu pretty often! The theme when I went was Boardgames so there was Clue, Yahtzee, Candyland, etc. themed drinks. All were good, I got one called The Longest Road (or something like that) that had walnut bitters and it was just so smooth and delish. Excited to come back another time to try another themed menu!
