Our guides, Paul and Tony, were great!…read moreSuper friendly and knowledgeable about the caves and the area in general and very safety conscious. If you are used to only paddling rivers, and lakes that are not Lake Superior, be ready for a workout. If you don't kayak a lot, I'd recommend the half day option. It was a great day! Highly recommend!

It was strange that they have a whole packing list on their website, but then they said in person that it would be better to bring as little as possible. We thought it would be fine to still bring our bags, but we think it ended up weighing down our kayaks (along with the things the tour guides packed in our kayaks for everyone's lunches like water jugs). Anyway, we ended up being pretty slow (even though I have quite a bit of experience with kayaks), which made things a bit stressful when they kept yelling at us to keep up. The lunch they provided was delicious and the sights were beautiful! It's just hard to be with a group when they're on a time crunch and want us to keep paddling when we want to stop and look at things, but there's not really another option if you're unfamiliar with the wind/weather/current patterns. Overall, it was a good experience, and we bought some nice embroidered sweatshirts after at their store!

I've had coffee from here a few times before and have always loved my drink - their seasonal items are Always fun. It was pretty full on a Friday morning but the line was short and moved quickly. I ended up mixing it up and getting a matcha latte which was flavored perfectly and not overly sweet. The space itself is so bright and open and in the coolest building with multiple other shops. You can enjoy your order at a table inside, walk around the various stores, or take it to go and hop around the area as so many new spots have opened up.

They have a good selection of chilled canned drinks as well plus some food items like yogurt. The space is wonderfully diverse in terms of seating. They had the front window open to the street where you can sit. Inside is an area where people can sit with their kids. The service was very friendly and helpful. The vibe is warm and very welcoming. Know that their baked goods come from Duluth Best Bread which does not always deliver like after a holiday. Parking in a small lot behind the building or on the street.

I saw they have frozen pretzels- which is perfect because I didn't want to eat it right now. I got two of those to go. I also got a blueberry danish for my husband- he approved! And two loaves of bread- the cheese curd and the rosemary onion in the one pound option. (They have a two pound and it's huge!) We enjoyed the bread toasted with butter and for avocado toast during the week. They offered to slice the rosemary onion bread but not the cheese curd- there's something about the cheese curd that they said they don't slice it. I can't remember. But it's fine/ we sliced our own. The pecan rolls and the cinnamon rolls looked amazing but I'm more of a savory gal. The shop was super cute. They have a sourdough class coming up. They have coffees and couches. Bathrooms for customers. Some merchandise for sale. They even have a monthly club where you can pick up or have your items delivered to you! Wow! I wish I lived in the area just for this bakery. I enjoyed reading about the business on their website/ two brothers!
