I have never been dog sledding before but I wanted to do it before I got older. This was an…read moreamazing experience. We looked around and my wife found Positive Energy and we decided to book a weekend in Duluth so we could go dog sledding. We got all of our warm gear ready and headed out. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and one of the dogs. Next we got a lesson on sleds and dog teams. Walking into the dog area we got to meet all of the dogs. Then we got to harness them and get them set on the rope of each sled. We learned a lot about dogs and the history of sledding the whole time were were there from the staff. They make sure you really understand everything and take the time to answer every question you have. We did the 3 hour tour and it was amazing!!! We got on the sleds as passengers and after about 25 min mine stopped and I got to drive. Wow was it fun, driving a dog sled on my own across a frozen lake. It was a lot more work than I expected but worth every second. After we were done sledding we helped get the dogs off of the sleds, they got treats and we helped get them back to each dogs house. I recommend Positive Energy to anyone wanting to try dogsledding. The staff and the dogs are amazing!

I am reviewing as a spectator and mother of a finisher. It's always been on my list to go up to…read morewatch this marathon and in 2022 my daughter decided to run so off we were to cheer her on. The marathon is on a beautiful course along the water. The day was absolutely perfect for running, around 50 degrees and sunny most of the race. As a spectator, you need a plan that allow you to travel, park, get to a spot, cheer, get back to your car, and time the next spot your runner will be...rinse and repeat as many times as you can over 26 miles. Grandma's is a bit more challenging to do that (as compared to Twin Cities) because there are only so many arteries to the race route. There are cars all over and lots of people moving at the same time. Closed roads and construction didn't make it easier. We were able to see our runner about 6 times on the course. She was easy to find after the race. It was all well organized with race packet easy to pickup. Allow plenty of time for parking as there are tons of people and cars to work around. Great experience.

Grandma's Marathon was great! It is a beautiful course and there are supporters along most of the…read moreway! It is super exciting to run into Duluth - the last 4 miles or so are packed with people cheering the runners on. The festivities continue after the race! There is live music all night and other special events and vendors around Canal Park. Wonderful weekend, great race!!! Ariel, the coach did a great job with the class and was both attentive and helpful. Athletes in the class were very friendly and supportive. It felt like a fun community. Aerial appears to offer more than CrossFit. Duluth is very fortunate to have a gym of this caliber, knowledgable coaches and friendly people.
