Cedar Coffee Company is such a gem of a coffee shop, tucked into the woods with a peaceful patio and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The drinks are delicious, the cardamom latte was especially good and they also offer baked goods and ice cream, which is a fun bonus. A cozy, welcoming spot that feels perfectly in tune with its North Shore setting.

Came here with a few friends for breakfast and coffee before heading to gooseberry. This whole place was fantastic, from the outdoor woodsy seating, friendly staff, yummy bacon roll up, coffee, and the stuff you could buy at the shop, EVERYTHING was great. The perfect pre-hike or post-hike stop. Hoping to come back soon!

Amazing coffee shop. Big windows from floor to ceiling that let in a ton of natural light, and views of the surrounding cedar forest (with trails that you can snowshoe and bike). A canoe hanging from the ceiling. Several people working on their laptops. Great atmosphere. I got a chai and my girlfriend got a coffee and croissant. All were perfect. Staff were super friendly. This coffee shop shares a roof with a bike shop that sells, rents and repairs bikes, so if you're passionate about bikes, this is the place for you.

Had been wanting to try out this "coffee shop in the woods" for awhile and it did not disappoint. The food was so good and fresh and made to order. We tried the red hash and cranberry turkey sandwich. Highly recommend both although the hash did have a bit of kick to it so just be aware of that! The brown sugar + rosemary latte was so good. All of their syrups were homemade except for the SF vanilla. They also had smoothies, beer and wine, and plenty of breakfast and lunch options. There was a fire going outside and plenty of seating inside with free wifi. Really liked the atmosphere there. It's connected to a bike shop and by a trail so you can head there before or after you're food and drinks! Very friendly and fast service. Will definitely be making this a north shore staple!

I loved this more modern coffee shop that was also rustic and hidden in the woods into harbors. They are in the same building as a bike rental company, which makes for a very fun pair. They have great parking as well as a wooded back patio with plenty of seating.

Nice interior area with tons of natural light, if a bit small.

This coffee shop is a real gem in Two Harbors. The coffee is good and the staff friendly, but the best part part is the relaxing ambience of enjoying coffee at the wood tables under the cedar trees out back. The Wi-Fi is pretty good for remote work. Also, I spilled my coffee (total clutz, whoops) and they were kind enough to offer me a free refill.

Gotta love their dog friendly patio, yummy smoothies and warm breakfast. Ordered 2 smoothies with my partner, one is peanut butter banana, and the other is blueberry yogurt and maple syrup. The two breakfast sandwiches we had were also great. Sarnie and croissant sandwich. I enjoyed the beautiful breakfast view.

We came at the right time as it got busy after we arrived. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. Also, they have trails in the area. As I was walking in, someone was walking out with a Pup cup, which I think is great. They allow pups on the patio. The people are SO nice. And the coffee was SO good. I would totally go back and would recommend it. Note they do not have almond milk or suagr free carmel flavor.

Clean bathroom, lots of seating inside and outside. Ice cream fridge. Short wait. Was busy and super cute

Great coffee in the woods. Very strong and bold coffee flavor to their drink as they use 4 shots of espresso in their 16oz cups

Awesome coffee, great space and view. Food was only so so (eggs in the sandwiches cooked to death and needing some seasoning), but way better than a coffee chain.

    Outdoor seating under the trees.

Have your coffee in the woods! I found this place based on an IG post I saw & so glad I stopped. It's just a short drive off the main street in Two Harbors. It's the cutest little coffee shop attached to a bike shop. I had an iced Americano with macadamia milk and the brown sugar + rosemary syrup. What an interesting flavor! So good and made perfectly. I just prefer more ice :) The person taking the order was so helpful and friendly. The shop has items for sale from local artists along with coffee. They have a food menu but I didn't try anything during my stop. The best part is the outdoor seating under the tall trees. Sip your coffee while enjoying the beauty of the nature around you. So lovely!

I've heard about Cedar coffee over the last few months and knew on our drive up north that we had to make this one of our destinations. We stopped in around 11 on a Sunday and the whole place was full with a bit of a line starting. There were a number of people working and you could tell that they were doing their best to get things out quickly to all the waiting customers. I would estimate we waited about 10 minutes to place our order and then upon ordering an Americano was told that it would likely take 15 to 20 minutes to get made. They were really backed up but luckily all the customers were seemingly very patient waiting for their orders. The barista offered an alternative of getting a hot coffee with the flavoring that I wanted, which would be ready immediately. I thought that it was great for her to offer an alternative and, although not my same Americano, I chose to roll the dice and go with it. I was so glad I did because the coffee was very strong, but still smooth tasting, and the maple flavoring that I added, provided just the right amount of sweetness. The space appears to have a fairly good amount of seating with the best options being a number of picnic tables and chairs set among the trees behind the shop. It seemed like a great location to grab a brunch or lunch and catch up with a friend. Overall great spot, hard working staff and tasty coffee.

The prices were absolutely fantastic and the staff was so wonderful. I had the Betty's special, I had a cup of baked potato soup with the chicken salad sandwich and a slice of chocolate banana cream pie. The sandwich was OK. It was a little on the sweet side for me.. The soup was absolutely delicious. The pie was the clear winner. My dining partner had the pulled pork sandwich! He really enjoyed the sandwich. He ordered the French cherry pie. Kind of like a cheesecake pie with cherry topping. We thought the pies were outstanding.

Luckily the wait wasn't too long, but I know it can get a little long on weekends. Luckily there are plenty of places to wait outside, with all the gorgeous scenery. We waited about 30 minutes, but it was worth it! I was excited to see vegetarian and gluten free options. Our waitress was very friendly and made some great suggestions. I went for the gluten free "backpacker" veggie burger and I have to say, it was maybe one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. Wild rice patty with the Swiss cheese, grilled onions, chipotle mayo- it was just an incredible combo. Came with a side of chips, because the fries are not gf. But wow, super yummy sandwich and a gluten free bun. And the dessert! I got the gf peanut butter pie, my piece was HUGE, I was eating it happily for days. I just know that I'm gonna have to take another trip to MN just to come to Betty's and get this meal again.

I had suggested going to our usual go to, the Ledge Rock Grill at Larsmont. My wife insisted staying closer to home and taking advantage of the Valentines seven course dinner menu at Vue North in Superior Shores Resort. We got to the restaurant and were promptly seated at a window table as requested in our reservation. Being a true foodie from way back, I always opt for a well prepared gourmet meal as opposed to a standard menu. I have to admit I was skeptical when I booked the reservation, but am pleased to say the current Chef hit it out of the park. Every course was over the top and a clear ten. Obviously a lot of thought and talent went into both the creation of the menu and preparation of each course. I haven't had a gourmet meal of this caliber in years. The ambiance was excellent, the service was great, and each course was a ten!

Still, I don't regret going here. We sat by a window with a decent view of the water and plenty of light. Our server was very friendly and helpful. While we waited for our food, we walked out on the deck, which led to scenic marshy areas with trails. I ordered beet wellington with arugula, and my spouse had a chicken dish with risotto. Just half of the beet wellington with the arugula was enough to fill me up. I liked the beet wellington, but it would have been better if they figured out a way to season the beet. Maybe pierce it and marinate it a bit? The chicken and risotto were also good. If we were hungrier, we would have supplemented these dishes with more vegetables. This was a nice place to stop before returning on a long drive home. We enjoyed relaxing in the spacious dining room with evocative upscale cabin decor. As I finished typing this, my spouse chimed in, "Not amazing, but pretty good." And in a touristy area where restaurant quality can be hit or miss, pretty good is exactly that: pretty good. We'll take it.
