Cardamon icing cinnamon roll and chai - A cinnamon roll with icing is placed on a white plate on a wooden table, with a serrated knife beside it. A paper napkin is nearby, and a to-go coffee cup with a cardboard sleeve and plastic lid is positioned behind the plate. The background shows a blurred interior of a café, with a sign on the wall that reads 'THE SHIRE.'

Lovely cafe on the north shore! Great coffee and yummy bakery items. So friendly and love the cozy feeling indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Beauty outside and yummy in - A small bird is perched on a wooden railing in an outdoor setting, with lush green plants and trees in the background. The scene includes a wooden post and beams, with a decorative star hanging from the structure. The image captures natural light and a peaceful garden environment.

I suggest sitting outside and watch the wonders of creation come to you! This was magnificent. I'm from Michigan and would come back here just for the hand pies, cappuccino, cardamom icing rolls and Lattes...which are only enhanced by this beauty outside....wish I could give it more than 5 stars

Such a cool vibe in downtown Duluth! We were excited about trying Dream Cloud because they are the roasters for 190 degrees Coffee in Lincoln Park. The coffee was amazing and we loved the live music on a Saturday morning!

Ginger matcha (unfortunately ginger was stronger than any matcha flavor) and absolutely delicious cherry latte. - A person is holding a green matcha latte in a clear plastic cup outdoors, with sunlight illuminating the drink. On the wooden table, there is a mosaic tray with a second drink, possibly iced coffee or tea, in a plastic cup with a lid. Another individual, wearing a black T-shirt, is seated at the table, partially visible in the background. The setting appears to be a garden or outdoor seating area with greenery and sunlight.

Cute interior and lovely outdoor seating options. Baristas were friendly. Fun seasonal flavors. I appreciated they included matcha !

Best Latte AND a work of art. Take time to enjoy your delicious cup at the location so that you can appreciate its beauty. - A laptop displaying a job application website is positioned on a table, resting on notebooks and papers. A pen is nearby, and a coffee cup with latte art is also on the table. The scene appears to be in a café setting, with a window and some furniture visible in the background.

The prices were absolutely fantastic and the staff was so wonderful. I had the Betty's special, I had a cup of baked potato soup with the chicken salad sandwich and a slice of chocolate banana cream pie. The sandwich was OK. It was a little on the sweet side for me.. The soup was absolutely delicious. The pie was the clear winner. My dining partner had the pulled pork sandwich! He really enjoyed the sandwich. He ordered the French cherry pie. Kind of like a cheesecake pie with cherry topping. We thought the pies were outstanding.

Luckily the wait wasn't too long, but I know it can get a little long on weekends. Luckily there are plenty of places to wait outside, with all the gorgeous scenery. We waited about 30 minutes, but it was worth it! I was excited to see vegetarian and gluten free options. Our waitress was very friendly and made some great suggestions. I went for the gluten free "backpacker" veggie burger and I have to say, it was maybe one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. Wild rice patty with the Swiss cheese, grilled onions, chipotle mayo- it was just an incredible combo. Came with a side of chips, because the fries are not gf. But wow, super yummy sandwich and a gluten free bun. And the dessert! I got the gf peanut butter pie, my piece was HUGE, I was eating it happily for days. I just know that I'm gonna have to take another trip to MN just to come to Betty's and get this meal again.

My kids (and my wife and I, let's be honest) really love the S'mores cookie but that Thunder cookie is pretty darn good too. You can build a pack of cookies with that day's flavors, 6 cookies will run you $12.50. Cookies are crisp and chewy, a good mixture of soft and crisp. If cookies are not in your diet, there is an assortment of savory breads and breakfast pastries as well. Back to those fruit bars, their blueberry bar is great. Full of fresh fruit with a touch of vanilla, so good!

The baker who checked me out was really friendly and happily answered my questions about availability and some day-old loaves (they have discounted day-olds!). Went in to get a baguette but it turns out they're an "occasional" item so I'd call ahead to ask. Ended up getting a couple things I'll note below. I'd probably put them around the quality Duluth's Best Bread but I like supporting a much more progressive place that gives back to the community. - An almond croissant that was solid for the price. Not mind-blowing, but wasn't too dense like a lot are. The flavor was really good. - A loaf of the day-old multigrain that was still excellent. Used it for toast and as a vessel for some A+ salmon dip from Northern Waters - Dog treats! It was neat seeing the fundraiser and always love getting a snack for the dog. They're not smelly, made from simple ingredients, and the pup loved them
