The ambience was nice. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were very engaging and had great recommendations. I definitely recommend the crab egg rolls they were filled with crab no real filler. The salmon nachos were just OK. The brussels sprouts were the best item I sampled on the menu. The service was super fast. read more

Dine in at the bar for brunch... no wait. The passion fruit crush drink was so good and refreshing. I also ordered the strawberry French toast, avocado shrimp toast, and pancakes. The steak hash meal was ordered as well. The pancakes were very delicious. Perfectly made! Not like other restaurants... you'll see I like avocado slices not mashed avocado or guacamole. The shrimp toast has mashed avocado spread across it. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I ate it, but wouldn't order it again. The French toast is super thick, but it is good. I don't eat steak, but I was told the steak hash meal was delicious. Service was good. Place is small, but does not have a crammed feel. The kitchen is small and visible from the bar, which is great. Very clean! Black owned read more

I found myself posted up at the bar on a Monday licking my wounds after a rough week. Believe it or not, I ended up having a great time. I did my usual I'll try everything on happy hour bit but didn't pair it with my usual drinks as I just wasn't in the mood. The bartenders were really nice as was the company at the bar. The mushroom rice was delicious. That sauce they put on there was definitely giving. I had the salmon cracker wafer thing so good but definitely an acquired taste. The Brussels were perfection. I even took some to my mom to try to make sure I wasn't tripping. She doesn't like anything and she loved them. The jerk wings were falling off the bone and had the perfect amount of kick to them. The highlight was the burger the nice man next to me let me taste. I will be back to have another. I do feel the whiskey selection could have been better and they have some service stuff to work but overall I had some great food and even better times. read more

Food: Lobster Rigatoni 8.5/10. Great flavor! The deep friend lobster tail was surprisingly large compared to most restaurants. The only drawback was that our food was cold. Our server did offer to send it back; however, we were hungry and the flavor was so good we pushed through. Aside from that this dish would be a 10/10. The fresh mint lemonade 10/10. Service- the entire staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our waitress, Ashley, who was also the bartender went above and beyond to ensure we were happy! Ambiance- 10/10 great music, great ppl, beautiful decor. On Thursday through the weekend there is a live dj. There's a front patio, a back patio and interior dining area each having its own play list. After speaking with the owner we Learned that Yebo means "yes" which is reflected in the service they provide as they go above and beyond to be as accommodating as possible. You can truly tell this owner cares about her business, she was working just as hard as her employees. I look forward to returning to Yebo to try their other dishes. Many people order the Dungeness crab fried rice and by the delight on their face I can't wait to give it a try. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try! read more

We made a reservation on Yelp for 8:30pm but when we arrived there was a wait regardless of our reservation that was way too long. Two couples walked out as we were coming in saying they waited for a table for 1.5 hrs and they still had not been seated when they left. This was recommended for the food but this is not a good sign of hospitality. The menu had my mouth ready but not the wait!!! read more

We had reservations for 1:15pm and were not seated until 1:50pm... while that was frustrating the host did offer us a free drink for the wait, appreciate that. When finally seated my table was greeted by a very nice waitress. She was attentive and pleasant throughout our entire time. We ordered medium well steak & eggs, salmon & grits, crab fried rice (rice with 2 crab leg clusters), side of bacon and grits with 3 cheese... no complaints, everyone's fav was the steak. We all agreed to come back for dinner to what it has to offer. read more

But let me break it down for you: From the moment you enter the door, you feel the warm and inviting nature of all the staff. The pomegranate martini gave EVERY thing it was supposed to give! Had a great time here for a birthday brunch date w/ my lady. This spot does not take reservations, therefore I would suggest arriving when they open, as the later it gets the longer the wait will be. We arrived about 11:30am and were seated in under 15 minutes. We enjoyed everything we got. Our favorite was the biscuit flight. I think would have preferred the biscuit flight as dessert and not an appetizer, although it would pair well with coffee if they have had coffee. The nonalcoholic drinks were very refreshing. Customer service was good and our food came out quicker than most restaurants. The jerk wings were cooked good, however they were slightly too spicy for my preference, although my sister loved the to go order we took home for her. The lobster fried rice was pretty good. I would not get the same thing when I return, as there are a lot of other items on the menu we want to try. If you do not do anything else, get the biscuit flight. read more

My husband and I went on spur of the moment and were graciously seated, though we didn't have a reservation. The entire restaurant was decorated "With love" even the music was carefully selected for Valentine's Day. The price fix menu consisted of 5 courses, one of which was a delightful pallet cleanser, a champagne and raspberry sorbet. Each course came eye pleasing, delicious, and satisfying!!! The drinks were Delish as well!! Everyone was friendly, and attentive. The entire experience was a Wonderful surprise. Thank you YEBO, we will be Back read more

Very visually aesthetic location. Rowhome turned into a restaurant. Welcoming staff from entrance to table. Loved seeing the owner/manager assist their staff with providing quality service to the guest. 4/5 as the restaurant is on the small side so seating is limited and you may run into a bit of a wait as they did not offer reservations at the time. See below for what I dined on and check them out the next time your in Baltimore City! read more

Second visit. The first visit was with family after a celebratory event. We made our selection based on Social media recommendations and we're not disappointed. While the vegetarian options were limited, the ambiance, food quality, and staff made it a pleasant experience. On the second visit, I was alone. Both times I ordered the fried rice and herbed fried potatoes ... chef's kiss ‍ ... I also ordered both of those dishes and the Kale and Strawberry Watermelon salad (w/o the dressing ... my choice) the second time. Aside from the sodium level being a bit high for my palate, everything was good; not to mention I ordered a side of Herbed Fried Potatoes to go. Will I return? Most certainly. Do I recommend it to others? Definitely. I may even try the Happy Hour with my nieces. read more

Here's the revised version of your paragraph: The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was welcoming, kind, and friendly. Although they were extremely busy, they made sure to seat us in the little lounge area. We were able to order a cocktail and mingle with others waiting, which made the wait time much more enjoyable. Food was bomb, ambiance was lovely, the host was teaaaa! Fantastic restaurant and not gonna lie, I feel like my main takeaway is the water here is so good, it was purified by the Gods, everything we ordered was well seasoned, and tasty, I do feel like the lobster pot pie was more biscuit than anything else, and at the price was a bit much but I understand you say lobster and the price is high lol. Also the drinks... 20+ dollar cocktails just doesn't sit right with me regardless of where I go, so we didn't get any, but literally that's my only gripe about this place, hence the 4 stars. And also the fact they don't take reservations, I mean it's a small place and so when we were leaving it was just a ton of people waiting at the front. The restaurant isn't the largest place so it was just kinda clunky and hard to leave, just the act of having to say "excuse me" a ton because ire so many people standing wt the entrance who surely wont move! But minus that, I highly recommend this place and think everyone should give it a try. The Brussel sprouts were divine, the Branzino was perfectly cooked and crispy and I love me a whole fish. And that salmon nacho bowl was so good, the chips were maybe wonton chips, so extra cronchy, and it was so flavorful I almost ordered another one to go. That was the best thing I tried that night and shout out to our waitress Imani. She was an incredible server, give my girl a raise! read more

Enjoyed brunch here, service at the bar was great. Very small space, nice outdoor patio. Music very loud.. why are all the restaurants so loud for brunch now. Maybe I'm getting old but it didn't used to be like this. Thankfully i was alone so didn't have to shout to a companion for convo. I ordered salmon and grits and added andouille sausage (i was pleased with the amount of sausage they gave and the fact it was only $2 up-charge). The grits were definitely Chef Sammys grits.. which I love but for my hour drive i should have been more adventurous with my choice. My cocktail the lychee peachy was delicious but the coupe was only half full.. at $20 a pop that's not good. Ill be back for dinner service, menu looks great. read more

Yesterday I celebrated my 38th birthday at Yebo Kitchen. Before even walking through the doors I was granted detailed and meticulous service from the manager creating my reservation of the phone. Upon arrival I was met with a very warm greeting from the staff. The decor is warm, trendy, and modern. The service is very professional and friendly The servers were clean and well groomed The workers were dressed chic The music was great The food was delicious and well seasoned The drinks were great I recommend the Espresso Martini There were several parties over 5 there and the service was still timely. We were constantly checked on by staff. They worked that busy dining room very well. I'm very nosey so I observed to see if they treated everyone with such care, or if it was a bday special treatment and I must say that it must have been the entire restaurants birthday because they were ON IT!!!!! When I found out Chef Sammy had a new restaurant in Baltimore, I knew the food would be wonderful! Yebo Kitchen doesn't take reservations and with how much I see people raving about them on social media, I knew a week day would be the safest choice to guarantee a table. A friend and I were in Baltimore on a Monday and decided to give it a go! Parking was easy to find on the street close by. For a Monday night, there was a nice crowd on both patios, the dining room and the bar but we were able to be seated. Love the layout of the restaurant! Very nice ample front patio, modest bar area, an intimate dining room and a cool covered back patio. There was also a cute birthday celebration happening on the back patio. Noah was our awesome server for the night. The cocktail list was heavy on the sweet side for us except for the Manhattan so we selected that one. Excellent choice! The crab egg rolls was a must as the starter. Packed with crab and served with a slightly sweet sauce--just delicious! We chose the crab and shrimp fried rice and the lobster mac for our entrees. The Dungeness crab legs were juicy and succulent while the shrimp were fried to perfection. The rice was perfectly seasoned and we devoured this dish expeditiously! Lobster Mac had a nicely seasoned fried lobster tail over the cheesiest mac. We couldn't finish this scrumptious dish but did a great job trying!! The butter cake with fresh fruit and creme was highly recommended but we were so stuffed that we took it to go. I can say that eating it the next day was just as awesome! Yebo Kitchen did not disappoint! Great staff! Great food! This is such a great spot for girls night out ,date night or celebrating and day that ends in 'y'! Just go!! read more

Recently went to Yebo Kitchen, and while the food and ambiance were great, I have a couple critiques. Physical menus would be a great addition. They promote a more luxurious feel to the restaurant. QR codes, while convenient, keep people from engaging and force them to stay on their phone where distractions can take their attention away from the wonderfully described food on the menu. Our waitress also could have been a bit more personable, we were a large party so a question of "What are we celebrating?" is an easy way to make a connection. I think a bit more training in the overall service department would go a long way. Yebo has a great product food and ambiance wise, but Customer Service can be either its greatest strength or detriment. read more

Yebo Kitchen is a must try! All the hype is very real and as someone who has now been here numerous times I have to say the food in the photos not just look good but taste even better! The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The vibe is uplifting and just a place that you can gather with loved ones easily. They no longer take reservations but I understand that change and the wait even during peak times doesn't seem to be so extensive. Some of my favorites have to be the sweet potatoes, the fried lobster bisque, the hot cakes, butter cake, cookie and the banana pudding, Chinese ribs, salmon and grits! Overall 10/10 stop by for happy hour, brunch, lunch or with friends! read more

I had been wanting to try Yebo Kitchen for quite some time and finally got the chance to Friday night. It definitely met my expectations. It's located on Maryland Ave, but pay close attention because it's tucked away between two buildings. The venue is intimate and has an intimate setting, this is definitely great for a date night or a girls night out. Out front is a seating area, which consisted of some small table and chairs. Once you walked inside, the hostess stand is to your left and the bar is to your right. There is a bathroom in the waiting area and there was also a back area which I didn't get a chance to see because I sat outside in the front. It's modernly designed and the wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Now let's get to the food- I had the Shrimp and Grits and a Bubbly Blueberry Refresher which were both very good. The shrimp and grits was a hefty portion size and had so many shrimp in it. The andouille sausage and the sauce added so much flavor and the grits were so creamy. I could barely get through half of it but I did my best. The Bubbly Blueberry Refresher was well balanced, with the Tequila and the ingredients blending well together. I was pleased to be able to meet the owner of Yebo Kitchen, she was sitting next to our table and she was so nice. She told us about the restaurant and that she has a sweets shop called Buns and Roses, so check them out too. One thing I will say is that for the main courses, look to spend anywhere from $30+ per plate, but it's so worth it. I know for sure that I'll be returning because they have so much I want to try. If you're thinking about coming to Yebo, do it, you won't be disappointed. read more

My girlfriends and I frequently visit different restaurants in the Baltimore / DC area. Yebo Kitchen Please be ware of staff scammers. Our server service was average. He really didn't check on us but catered to young ladies next to us. We noticed but we let it be. We enjoyed our food and drinks they were really good. We got our bill and before giving the cash money to the server it was counted by two people for accuracy. We handed the cash to the male server and abt 15 min later a female staff person believed to be management stated our bill was $20 short. Please pay by credit card or be sure to have the server count money in your presence. Not sure if all staff are in on this scam . BEWARE We gave an extra $20 . Then the server came and said they have other people waiting to be seated and asked us to leave. The food not worth the headache. read more

We went for Sunday brunch. We were unaware that they only serve brunch on Sundays but I was ok with that. The wait wasn't too long but the waiting area is quite small considering this restaurant is becoming quite known. It only took about 10 minutes to be seated. The seating is not appealing. The tables are small and the chairs are small and uncomfortable for a plus size woman. The bench on the wall is low and hard. Without the pillows to use behind you, it feels like old school church pews. Our waitress seemed rather flustered due to some other payment issues, what she told us and not too knowledgeable about some menu items. Mainly the drinks as she told us she doesn't drink and had to bring another staff member over to understand our request. We tried 2 drinks which were delicious and ordered the jerk wings. The wings are fabulous, seasoned and fall off the bone tender. They come with wasabi ranch which gives the wings a kick. We intended to order meals but the flies inside the restaurant were too much. We were swatting the whole time eating our wings. There are open doors to the outside seating at the front and deck seating outback so that's how the flies are getting in but I think this can be a controlled issue with plug ins or something. Several flies lined the wall where we were seated and it just felt very unsanitary. No fault of the staff but I just couldn't eat there. My first visit I sat outside and decided to do indoor because of the hoard of flies when food was brought to the deck. I'll try again in the winter. read more
