Yard House has great food. The only thing that sucked today was how long we had to wait to eat. It was busy in a sense that people were done eating but staying around to chit chat. Which is fine. It took awhile for our waitress to show up to our table and I believe she only came when she did was because I ordered our appetizer (pretzel with cheese or mustard) through the machine at the table . It wouldn't let me order food which sucked so we had to wait. When she did finally come, she was prompt in taking our drinks and our food order. They have a garlic aioli that was sooo good that I will probably grab one from now on when I go. The restaurant was a bit too dark as well. Some tables had working tealight candles while others didn't. Ours did not so we had to use our phones for light to read the menu and take pictures. I like the vibe but definitely think a bit more light would make the ambiance more welcoming.

Stopped by Yard House on Christmas Eve for some quick bites during happy hour before heading to a Christmas light show, and it was the perfect choice. We joined the waitlist online ahead of time and were seated immediately when we walked in--such a great perk, especially on a busy holiday. We ordered food through the kiosk, and our waiter came by to take our drink orders, which made everything super easy and efficient. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the happy hour menu at Yard House is one of the best for food and apps. The number of half-price appetizer options is honestly dangerous--in the best way. We went a little wild and ordered around 10 (maybe even 12?) dishes for six people. Way too much food... but no regrets. We even had leftovers, and the total was still under $100, which is kind of amazing. The poke nachos are always a standout and a must-order. Overall, Yard House is such a solid happy hour spot--great value, tons of options, and I really appreciate that they have a parking lot. I hate street parking, so that alone is a win for me. Will definitely keep coming back for happy hour.

3.5/5 Yard House is a Darden restaurant so if you have some gift cards to use up, it's an OK place to use them. They are known for their wide selection of draft beer but they do have a good selection of spirits, mocktails and low proof drinks. We got here around 5 on a Friday and it was already quite busy. They offer a happy hour with discounted drinks and appetizers so we got the blackened ahi sashimi, Gardein wings, and I tried the kish and tell cocktail. For a main course I had the lobster garlic noodles with a side of kale and romaine Caesar salad. I liked the flavors of the ahi sashimi but I'd probably pass on the Gardein wings for next time. As a meat alternative it's OK but there are better faux chicken options out there. The kish and tell cocktail is made with kish shine soju, cranberry, lychee purée, and lime juice. I definitely got a buzz from the drink and it had a good balance of sweet and tart flavors. For happy hour this drink and others like it are $2 off. While there was an ample amount of lobster in the noodles, the sauce was way too salty for me. I couldn't eat all of it because of the salt level. The side salad was much more enjoyable. It was a very generous portion and the combination of roasted brussels sprouts, pistachios, raisins, baby tomatoes, and parmesan worked well together. Service was very friendly and our server was helpful at answering any questions we had about the menu.

Went to Yard House right after the game it was a bit busy but we got a table after about 5 minutes. I love coming here, food is always yummy. It's in a shopping mall so you can go out and shop before or after eating here :) We requested garlic aioli on our burger instead of horseradish aioli due to not liking horseradish and our server made it possible!

A fun Mexican (green/white/red) pair of gorditas with a very small amount of beans and rice, mostly sauce. Was overpriced :(

10/10/2025 Update: Finally got our half yard! Jeez!! I was told they default to a mug you have to specify half yard, though some server girl came to our table by accident trying to give us one with a tag we already had LOL. The burgers were great, and the bill didn't break the bank this time thanks to our tag for $5 half yard (32oz). Too bad we can't use in in November when my mom visits us. Thank you. $25.00/person (including tip) Nice atmosphere though a little loud (was a Friday night) Waitress was courteous, respectful, and attentive Original Review 9/2025: Way too overpriced otherwise would've been 5 stars! Corporate won't allow for mobile certified IDs, in today's day and age... a digital world, where you accept Apple Pay..... perhaps you would be interested in considering real IDs moving forward. Very disappointing. Solid pretzel.

Yard House is an excellent option if you aren't sure what exactly you're in the mood to eat - they have a huge variety of options! From poke to burgers to American apps. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and were seated immediately. Ambience was casual, it was busy but not overly loud. Our server was attentive and friendly, and his drop by's were perfectly timed. We paid using the kiosk on the table which made it super easy. I ordered the grilled chicken & avocado sandwich with fries (side of ranch, obviously) and it was delicious. My cousin got the burger lettuce wrapped and said it was so good. Desert Ridge is surrounded by shops and has a ton of parking too which is convenient.

Olive Garden is to the older generations what Yardhouse is to us Millennials. In an age of trendy new spots it's one chain that I'll repeat visiting. It's classic, reliable, and everyone leaves happy. The menu is large enough for anyone to find what they like and it changes enough to keep it fresh. I've never ordered anything that was disappointing and I've always had good service. The locations are also well done as you can always find one at any big entertainment district. This Desert Ridge location has survived when it's neighbor spot has never lasted over the years.

Happy hour is the best here at Yard House! Happy Hour is M-F from 3-6 PM, and includes most appetizers and pizzas at 50% off. We came here for Happy Hour on Memorial Day, and we waited about 15-20 minutes for a booth. Our server was amazing! Her name was Emily M. and she constantly checked up on us and refilled our water. She was so sweet and definitely enhanced our overall experience. Everything we ordered was off of the Happy Hour menu: poke nachos, chicken nachos, boneless wings, fried calamari, carnivore pizza, and truffle mushroom pizza. Everything came out fairly quickly and was so delicious. We always have great experiences at Yard House, it's definitely a great place to go with family or friends. The menu is extensive and there is always something for everyone.

Always love the yard house! My parents and I have found it consistently good, no matter what location or state it's in. I love all their gluten free options and I dream about the spinach artichoke dip. I'm so sad they got rid of the location at Scottsdale fashion square but this location is always a nice treat.

I came here by myself. There was no wait. I was offered a taste of the mango foxtrot and they also brought a taster of the seasonal cider. I loved the seasonal cider more than the mango I originally wanted. The seasonal cider was apple pie and it smelled and tasted like an actual Apple pie. It was really good. The steak was also good. The vegetables could've used more attention. Not enough seasoning or cooked long enough. The steak was med rare and very delicious. It had enough seasoning and the sauce they had was also very good. Mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes and creamy and buttery. The filet was 38 dollars. Do I think the filet was worth 38 dollars? Maybe not that expensive but it was still a very nice meal overall

I've been to Yard House in both Texas and Arizona but this was my first time visiting the location in Desert Ridge Marketplace. I stopped by on a weekday for a late dinner. While it gets busy here, they have a huge parking lot so you'll be able to find a spot. Ambiance (3/5): I decided to sit at the bar. Yard House is a large restaurant with booths, tables, bar seating, and bar-top seating so take your pick. The decor and ambiance are on par with other chain restaurants. It's nice and it does the job. Service (4.5/5): While not always the case, I like attentive service at the bar and that's exactly what I experienced here. The bartender was efficient, friendly, and made recommendations based on my questions. A great job all around. Drinks (5/5): This is one of the areas where Yard House shines. They are known for their beer and have an extensive list of local, national, and international beers. And they even have a few beers brewed in-house. Since I'm a sucker for variety, I built my own flight. All of the beers I selected were ones I hadn't tried before. This is bliss for me. Food (4/5): I wasn't looking for a heavy meal so I went with the sliders appetizer. You'll receive three sliders with the typical fix-ins and a side of fries. While it's an app, it's a generous portion. I also had a free dessert for my birthday and ended up going with the Oreo Brookie (a fusion between a cookie and a brownie). It's served a la mode with vanilla ice cream which is always a good decision. Unfortunately, the dessert was a little too dry for my liking. Maybe I should have gone with one of their other options. It's tough for me to pass up on anything Oreo-related though. If you're looking for some good brews and solid food for a chain, Yard House is a good choice. I have nothing but great things to say about this location, service is always great, food is amazing & it's always well kept. I decided to go for my birthday this time & was extremely impressed with my server & the service we received! For starters I had the edamame which is always amazing 10/10, it's a great portion and extremely flavorful. I ordered the margherita pizza which was good however I'd give it an 8/10 simply because they tend to put a bunch of minced garlic under the mozzarella which was extremely overpowering & I found myself having to scrape a lot of garlic off with my fork. My fiancé had the wings and he said they were the best wings he's had in a while! 11/10 I also got a complimentary birthday dessert & it was delicious!! 10/10 I wish I remembered our servers name she was super sweet and attentive, I had a great birthday dinner. read more

We went twice in one night, both pre and after an event at MIM down the road. Both times we had wonderful service from two great young ladies. The first visit was for a quick bite before our event. Good was done well and prepared quickly. The second visit was for a snack and drinks. Great late evening snacks with decent selection of beer and wine. First visit was rather busy and we only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Later was very much emptied out and relaxing. Four out of five stars. We will come back when in the area for another MIM event. read more

This was one of my was visits there as we discovered the garlic noodles. OMG, delicious. I had the salmon Cesar which I really enjoyed. I don't typically like ordering salmon at restaurants but this was delicious. Hubs had the noodles and I was green with envy lol They were amazing. I wanted to switch plates. Absolutely devastating experience I never thought I'd have to write something like this. My friends and I came to this restaurant expecting a fun night out, but what we experienced was deeply hurtful and humiliating. From the start, our server was noticeably disrespectful, dismissive, and rude in a way that felt targeted. When we politely asked why we were being treated that way, we were completely brushed off. We then asked to speak with the owner or someone in charge. Instead of helping resolve the situation, a manager came over and told us that the owner "wouldn't want to see people like us." We were stunned. Next thing we knew, multiple security guards were escorting us out as if we had done something wrong. We were still in shock, trying to understand why we were being kicked out. As we were leaving, the server who had been disrespectful from the beginning started mocking us openly and loudly. It was cruel. We left the restaurant shaken, humiliated, and in tears. No one deserves to be treated this way. I will never return, and I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. read more

Wish we had half stars, I'd be giving a 3.5. We've been to this location a few times in the past and had a gift card we needed to use up, so we had a little spontaneous date night. One thing that we find is a constant is that the wait times are inconsistent. We joined the waitlist online and it said "15-25 minutes" which isn't bad at all for a Friday night. We checked in with the hostess, like the text advises you to do when you arrive when we got there and were told we were 13th in order to be seated. Our total wait time was about 40 minutes from the time we joined the waitlist until we were sat. We also saw in the online queue people who hadn't checked in but still got seated ahead of us. One time, they forgot us entirely, just skipped us, and a 10 minute wait turned into an hour. We had a really nice, attentive server named Chad this time around. It was a packed house that night but we could tell he was busy, really making sure all his tables were taken care of. I was looking at the Maui Pineapple Chicken but Maui was in the midst of catastrophe and it felt somehow inappropriate so we ordered the house cheesecake. My family is from Philly so I am usually very hesitant to get cheesecakes anywhere. This was definitely a different take on a cheesecake. Chopped bits of ribeye, steak sauce, white American cheese, no veggies and the roll was a little dry. It had good flavor about it though, just more of a steak sandwich and not a typical cheesesteak. We got a side of onion rings and those were really good. Last time, we had ordered the park truffle fries which also very good. We had just missed happy hour (M-F 3-6pm) where select appetizers and pizzas are half. I had my eye in the Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds but maybe next time. read more

How could this place be so busy? I can't even believe it . We went to the one in Waikiki Beach. It was outstanding a couple weeks ago. The food at this location was absolute discussed. The calamari was old. The drink did not compare to the one in Waikiki Beach. The lettuce wraps were a disgrace. I should've taken some pictures. Why would people eat here? Why was this place so busy it's pure trash. read more

Rude! Went in for a sit-down lunch after shopping at Desert Ridge. We must have accidentally entered from the patio door. We stood there for about 10 minutes being ignored, and then a girl yelled at us for coming in the wrong door. When we went up to the correct hostess stand, nobody came to help us. We ended up leaving without eating here. Apparently they were too busy to help us. read more

First time here & definitely going back :) Went here with a friend for lunch. You can join the wait list & order online. They have a touch screen kiosk at each table. You can call your server, play games & pay for your meal on the kiosk. There are lots of screens to watch games. So, our server gets to the table & I mentioned we were out celebrating my birthday. At the end of our meal, the server came out with a candle on a plate with cake! The plate even had Happy Birthday on it in chocolate dust!! I was speechless. read more

After attempting to try another restaurant in the District and not getting service, we left and walked over to the Yard House. We sat at the bar and Sam was our bartender. She was fantastic! Her service was efficient, friendly and personable. She's truly on her game and has full command of that bar. We had sliders, queso, artichoke dip and wings. Serving sizes were generous and all dishes were cooked well, nicely seasoned and came to our table hot and fresh. The wings are super crispy, perfectly coated and large! The queso is creamy and seasoned well, not too spicy. The sliders were cooked perfectly and topped with caramelized onions on fresh buns. Excellent service, tasty, fresh food, generous serving sizes, nicely balanced drinks and a friendly, inviting atmosphere. read more

Third visit. This place is a nice gathering spot if you like a busy atmosphere. Located in the plaza across the street from the Marriott. Happy hour from 3 to 6 so expect it to be busy. They have outdoor seating for the cooler nights so that is nice added touch. Food and drinks are always on point. Lots of tv's to watch sports and the food was delicious as always. We were so hungry after our flight in I didn't have time to take a lot of pictures. We a had a few appetizers and drinks. Honestly everything was delicious so I can't pick out a favorite. If you're in the area this is a must try place. Enjoy read more

As we normally do, we ordered 2 orange chicken entrees for takeout and brought them home. Photos show one portion (a little light on the chicken this time) warming up in the cooktop and the aftermath attempt to remove the biggest of the red pepper flakes... This of course happened AFTER taking an innocent, trusting little bite...Holy Mother, let me explain...my face is. on. fire. I managed to reach the manager, (who was professional and empathetic; he said he will refund our dinner. Sadly, we didn't want a refund, just their amazing orange chicken without the one-to-one ratio of red pepper flakes. I can't really say for sure, but suspect tears are still streaming down my fire-numb face. read more

My wife and I decided to spend our anniversary grabbing dinner at Yard House. It's been a long time since we've been there (not in that area much) but decided to stop in and grab dinner. The best thing about the dinner was the server. Super good dude, attentive, helpful... he's 5-star for sure. My low rating is due to the food. I ordered a steak. The pic doesn't lie. The fork was bigger than the meat. I ordered chicken. It was slightly larger than the pictured toothpick. They were both brought on small desert plates No flavor. No seasoning. Just super small portions of meat. Grade: D My wife got the Turkey club and fries. It seemed more like an appropriate size but the 3 pieces of bread per cut was overkill. Maybe the idea was to make it look bigger? No idea. But my wife peeled off one of the bread layers to try and make it not so dry. Grade D+ This might be an ok place to grab lunch or if you want a break from shopping at Desert Ridge, but there are better food options. The place is cool enough. The people were friendly. The food was not it. Unfortunately it will probably be a while if we come through again. read more

This is YOUR spot when you want food and sports all in one! Saturday night and we stopped in for a casual dinner. The wait time was about 30 min but we sat down quicker as we went with the bar. It was definitely packed but they seem to have a good system and everything comes out within a reasonable time. I love YardHouse, but was really disappointed today. I am not sure if this is a one off or if they just aren't using quality ingredients any longer. All three stars are for our waiter and only him. I'm not sure what's going on here lately but we come a lot to YH. It's kind of our place where everyone can get whatever they're craving so it's makes it easy for a family who can never agree on where to eat. We came tonight and it was just... off. We ordered the queso which we have never gotten before.. and I will never get it again. It is shredded cheese, with canned chili, in a shallow plate melted under the salamander and when you dip your chip in, you actually realize all this is is you scraping cheese off a plate. Emphasis on SCRAPING. It was strange. I also ordered the double decker BLT and it was concerning. I thought ordering a BLT would be safe but apparently you also can f*** up a sandwich. They immediately dumped it off to us and I cringed. The bacon was half cooked and freezing cold. I tried looking past it but I couldn't even chew it and it was just bread and avocado at that point so I just pushed it to the side. Probably won't be back for a while unfortunately. read more

The beer list is phenomenal! Majority of beer is even on tap! The food was top notch as well. I will be coming back every time we return to Deer Valley for business. The menu is typical bar food grub: burgers, wings, tacos. I ordered the cheese encrusted carnitas tacos. OMG, these were so freakin good. The tortilla was encrusted with melted cheese. It was filled with slow cooked pork and fresh avocado among other things like onion. The beer list was amazing. I posted a picture of the menu as you can see the massive list of craft beers. If you like beer, then you will find beer that you like. They even serve their own house brewed beer. If you can't decide, choose a flight of multiple beers to sample. Atmosphere was nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It feels more like a restaurant than a bar or brewery. The food was not an afterthought to the beer business. The flavors were good, especially the honey smoked salmon, but unfortunately it had very little jalapeño cream cheese. Without it, the flatbread was a little dry. I also would have loved a little more chili oil and lemon. The cream cheese would have added the richness it needed. Thankfully, our other dishes were great. We ordered the Smorgasbord, which is consistently fabulous, and split the Humble Caesar, one of our all-time favorites. Those two dishes never disappoint. Asparagus was very grilled and tender. We wrapped up the meal with two pieces of Flan topped with coconut. Delightful ! Restaurant is a little unusual with respect to layout but very functional. Guac was good, their specialty chicken dish was not my favorite and my wife got the chicken tacos which she thought were decent. Overall it was fine, wasn't bad but wasn't worth the price.

Especially when the French fries are heavily seasoned with rosemary--a bit too much.

I ended up going to the women's restroom, only to find that the only stall with a changing table was locked from the inside. We were then told that the manager who had the key was not there that day. As a parent, I find this extremely disappointing and frustrating. Families with infants should not have to struggle this much just to find a safe and accessible place to change their baby. I sincerely hope the restaurant addresses these issues, as the experience left us feeling very unwelcome and frustrated.

I've been to several Yard House restaurants, and my go-to is usually the one inside Westgate. Every Yard House I've visited has consistently offered high-quality food and service, making it an obvious choice when searching for eateries in the area. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff, and the restaurant was clean, inviting, with an excellent assortment of beers on tap. However, today's experience had some drawbacks. Although our server was sweet, she seemed overwhelmed, leading to extended wait times for drink orders and appetizers. For appetizers we order two orders of calamari along with chips and guacamole. A tip I would advise is, if you have a party of more than two, consider ordering an extra dish of calamari for portions. The food arrived scattered and at different times, with a soup served cold, necessitating a return to the kitchen. My usual favorite, the steak bowl, lacked the quality I'm accustomed to at Yard House. Despite ordering it medium, it came out well done, devoid of any redness or pinkness. The steak's small pieces should have made it easy for the cook to notice **pictured below. We had to request assistance from our server and other staff members to clear our empty plates, and after this, the overall service improved. My co-worker has a son she is so proud of who is one of the chefs here. When she heard i had to travel to AZ for business; she convinced us to have dinner there one night. I was amazed! How do they make root vegetables (on a fence) so simply delicious? Not only was the food we ordered fabulous but the service was unmatched! They spoiled us and made our night unforgetable! Irene our waitress was just the right mix of providing service without obtrusiveness! After we paid the check we were treated to a rare brief look at the kitchen staff in action--communication and choreography was like the movies. We have been eating at Yard House for years and think there food is very good and never have had a problem until now. There food is great but that dose not give them the right to keep a customers change at the end when they are paying. It seems that if your bill total is ending in 50 cents or less they keep the change or 51 cents or more they round up to the next dollar. Its not only not right its not legal. My change is very important to me, I save it and it adds up after a while. We will not continue to go to a place and wonder if our bill is going to over the 50 cent mark or under. Who do they think they are that they can short change the customer. read more

I went last night and the ladies behind the bar Meredith and Alison couldn't have been any nicer!! These ladies went above and beyond not only with the service but they immediately recognized I needed help getting away from a rude man at the bar. Thank you ladies!! Then the manager Michelle also came over and introduced herself and made me feel so welcomed that I decided to stay for dinner. I had an amazing tuna roll and the girls recommended a great Malbec. I'm new to Scottsdale and a friend suggested that we check out one of the shows at the Musical Instrument Museum. My hubby and I stopped at the Yard House for a bite before the show. We were able to call the Yard House when we were on our way and get on their waiting list. Although it was a busy Friday night, we were seated in about 10 minutes. Still, we were running late, so we asked our waiter, Jason, if we could place our order right away, since we had a show to catch. Our tasty food arrived quickly, and we got to the show on time. Yard House is my go-to spot for amazing food. The steak they serve is just perfect - cooked exactly how I like it. On our last visit, my girl and I decided to try the Ring Tower, and wow, it was huge and so tasty. Every bite was a burst of flavors. This place rocks! Going 5 stars but do have a question. Every time we have eater here we order the Southern Fried Chicken Breast but the size of the portion keeps changing. It was the same for a very long time and then all of the sudden one time it came with two breasts then one HUGE but thin piece and last time was one smaller piece. Why mess with perfection? This place is such a great standby. My favorites include the many of their apps, artichoke, and I usually go with one of their salads. Kids usually go for a burger. Fries are awesome. You really can't go wrong and it's always been consistently good. The prices are reasonable and they have a GREAT selection of beer. The fashion square and the Tatum location are my two main ones and both always have great service. Had the unfortunate experience of leaving my ipad mini behind on my table and didn't realize it until I got home. I immediately called and spoke to management and they said they had it. WOW!! This could have been a totally different outcome. I can't thank all of the staff enough for their integrity. Actions speak louder than words. Great Restaurant. Outdoor Seating area has misters for summer and heaters for the winter. It's always packed but the wait is never too long. Great Food Quality and drinks. Service is exceptional at this location. Dessert is amazing if you have never tried it, next time save room for the brownie or chocolate chip cookie dessert and order extra ice cream! They take awhile to cook so tell the serve to put the order in when they deliver your food and that will make the timing perfect for the desserts. Holla! read more

Went to Yard House in Desert Ridge last night and had a great meal. I was pretty impressed with the place as a whole. Their food is prepared at a much higher level than other brewery type restaurants so I wouldn't really class this place as a brewery; probably more like a higher end sports bar and restaurant geared towards families. The number of beers on top was impressive and even the additional special seasonal beers they brought in were very good. I like this place a lot and will definitely be back. read more

Beers for days. Killer happy hour, like the fact there is a reverse post 10pm. One day I am going to finish the chicken nachos all by myself, or I won't, but I will try and try again because they are awesome. Always have great service here, even though they are ultra corporate (have had friends who have worked for YH) servers still manage to be loose and friendly adding to already great experience. We just moved to Phoenix and this was the first restaurant we decided to try and I'm glad we did. We started off with the California roll and it was a perfect size to share. I ended up getting the ribs, and they were incredibly tasty. My wife got one of their burgers and she claimed it was one of the best burgers she's had in a while. The only time to go to this upity bar/restaurant is on Monday, early evening. Because the Appetizer's are half off and they have a dellicous, huge variety to make great meals out of. From a Raw tuna poke stack to a big, thin slice of pizza. The appetizer list is better than the Menu.
