Blue Martini Lounge has quite the reputation. From several people, I've heard that it's a sugar daddy spot. I am by no means looking for a sugar daddy lol but I do enjoy people watching. I've passed by Blue Martini many of times. It always seems to be the most hype spot on High Street, a nice entertainment district in Desert Ridge. I finally took the plunge and checked it out on a Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. Parking is easy (and free) on the street, in the surface lots, or the garage on High Street. Ambiance (3.5/5): Blue Martini is definitely a bit bougie and caters to that audience. There's a nice outdoor patio which is where we sat since the weather was beautiful. There's a bar outside and waiter service. I briefly looked inside and there's a bar inside too, lounge sitting, and a dance floor. Blue Martini often has live music or a DJ. Definitely a spot where you can break it down on the dance floor. There's bottle service too if that's your thing. Service (2/5): Talk about slow service! It took our waitress longer than it should have for us to greet us. After placing an order for drinks, we received them promptly. After that we didn't see her again for quite a while. I wanted to order a second cocktail and she was nowhere to be found. Eventually she came around and I placed my order. I decided to close out right then and there knowing that it would take a long time to track her down to close out if I didn't do it right then and there. They also charge two fees amounting to 5%. Not sure what that's all about. Food (N/A): While they do have food, I just had drinks since I was there pretty late. I view Blue Martini as more of a drinks spot, but I can't comment on the food. They have a daily happy hour with discounts on select food items. Drinks (3.5/5): If the name isn't a dead giveaway, Blue Martini specializes in martinis. Beyond martinis, they have a large cocktail list. Plus everything else you'd find with a full bar. The drinks are a bit pricey (it is a see and be seen type of spot after all and you're likely to see old geezers pulling up in Lambos and Ferraris), but I liked the selection. I started off with the Blue Martini, their namesake. It's served with a blue glow stick. From there, I had the strawberry basil martini. Both were pretty good. Not speakeasy quality cocktails but better than your average bar for sure. While Blue Martini isn't really my scene, I can have a good time anywhere. If you're looking to turn up and dance, it's a good spot for that. And it's also elite for people watching. read more

My friend and I went here for happy hour and it was so good! I had the BBQ pork flatbread and she had the fajita flatbread and we shared a thai chicken. The waitress was so attentive and all food and drink was half off. I had the Bellini which was a heavy pour so you definitely get your money's worth. My friend got a martini and it was the size of two between the glass and the shaker. I love the ambiance here and you can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. The drinks are fabulous and the service was excellent but the food wasn't very good. The flatbread pizza appetizer my husband ordered was well done almost burnt. The pretzel I got was so delicious but the sauce it came with was only enough for half of the pretzel. The martinis were reasonably priced during happy hour and our server was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for drinks. We arrived beforw happy hour endes, like 30 mins before. and got our first round quick which I was surprised. But when our food came out, our server was non existent and never came back to ever ask how everything was let alone ask us for another round before happy hour was over she never checked back up on us. We had to find her to ask for extra sauce for the dry chicken. Its my bday and she kinda ruined a nice night. The manager after we talked to him was nice and bought us shots. I was honestly gobsmacked because first it's a shot not a drink and I have never in my life paid 15 dollars for a green tea shot. Maybe 8 dollars at the most. It also didn't taste right. Went for an appetizer and drink on Sunday around 5:30. The staff was friendly, the live music was nice. We had chicken wings and the carrots and celery garnish was old, dry , and rubbery. This weekend was my bday weekend which fell on a long weekend. I've heard that this is the place to be especially during a long weekend. THIS AINT IT!! every table was reserved and we paid 20$ at the door to stand all night! How can you not sit at the bar? Or order food and have to eat it standing?? Make that make sense. We were told stools were taken out to make more space. sooooooo let's not appreciate the people who paid at the door to come in and enjoy themselves??? There should have at least been an option to pay for a table when we came in or to sit at the bar at the least. This is basic. This place has always been a great place to celebrate birthdays or any festive occasion or just sit outside and relax on the patio. This was Raven's 17th Annual Halloween Bash. It was very crowded but if you are an event planner you can reserve a private area to host your event. Raven always knocks it out of the park with her events so check her out as well. SUPERHERO BAND ROCKED IT. This is one of my favorite bands. Their energy and talent is contagious!!!! Sunday nights are a relaxing vibe. I have been coming here for years. We came on Thursday for Latin Night with live music & I thoroughly enjoyed myself...even though I couldn't eat. The kitchen makes the majority of their food during the day, so no type of accommodations were offered, not even sparing the minuscule amount of Bruschetta toppings to go with heavily salty tortilla chips. No fret, I enjoyed a good glass of Cab while I Salsa dance as the performers were energetic & engaging with the customers while belting out favorite Latin hits. Our tatted up Server handled four tables & did it like a pro. There's no cover until 9pm, afterwards it's $10. Not sure if Valet service is present as it wasn't visible upon pulling up. One of many lounges/restaurants amongst the Work, Live & Play here development, so noise level inside & out is pretty loud. Sundays are R&B Nights playing old school music. An elder gentleman ( maybe in his 60's 70's) jumped up and did a split. I was nervous he got stuck and couldn't get back up by my man knew what he was doing. Lmboooo!!! Went here with pals and even though I didn't stay long it is a pretty hip spot! It's in Desert Ridge Mall. There's plenty of parking surrounding the area. I think that people are staying to get out more these days which is good! There was no line which was surprising but I've noticed that humans are going out later at night, like 11ish. First time here. My friend and I was at the bar near the front entrance. A small bartender who looks Asian didn't acknowledge us at all. I asked the guy at the bar with dreads can he help us and he said he don't make drinks, so he let her know. She kept walking past us and waited on other people. i said excuse me to get her attention she turned and looked at us and then turned back around. Finally we got her attention and my friend said how are you and said fine with an attitude and then walked away. She is rude. I asked for the manager and he got our drinks.
