We stopped into Blue Martini Lounge to watch our friends' band perform. It was a lot of fun, and the people watching was on point! Our server was great! Definitely a hot spot, so I suggest you get there early to make sure you secure a table!

Great atmosphere tonight, good mix of young and older the bar just before 6. I popped in for a bite before the comedy show up the way at Rick Bronson's! The happy hour beer cheese and pretzels were great, the cheese perfectly oozy and flavorful and the pretzels perfectly toasted and still soft. The grapefruit juice fresh and tart! Great service by Blake and his team :) Super warm and personable all around!

It's always a great time at Blue Martini! We went for date night to listen to the band, have some cocktails and yummy food. Thank you to GM JC and her entire staff for always taking special care of us. Reminisce is always fun to listen to, dance to and sing along with. Our special treat was Ms. CeCe Peniston performing a song. One of our fave spots....

Amazing happy hour! Half price drinks and select apps. With live music, you can't beat that. The evening is not my scene, but definitely worth a stop with HH daily 4-7pm. A great place for live music and dancing if that's your vibe.

The drinks are fabulous and the service was excellent but the food wasn't very good. The flatbread pizza appetizer my husband ordered was well done almost burnt. The pretzel I got was so delicious but the sauce it came with was only enough for half of the pretzel. The martinis were reasonably priced during happy hour and our server was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for drinks. The vibe was very chill during happy hour but I'm told during the later hours it's a very lively atmosphere.

With friends at the blue martini and the place is really nice inside and out. The band doesn't start tell late. I think like around 8 pm. Too late for me. The food was really good. We all enjoyed our selves a lot. They have a dress code. Nice happy happy hours

    What is the dress code?

Upscale casual attire is the best way to describe it. No base ball caps or snap backs.

Has the Blue Martini High Street re-opened? We would like to go on Oct.1 2022.

    Yes

Is it true that there is a $400 minimum per table?

Hi Kurt!! It is true that we have minimums on tables, but prices vary on different nights/events, table location and number in party. Feel free to reach out with the specific party details, and we can give you an accurate pricing. Here’s our VIP… Read more

Is there ever nights when this club is 18+?

Everyone is welcome but to drink and sit at the bar you must be 21 or older. The club is the same.

If I was to go to be a designated driver but don't plan on drinking when I am of the age of 17, would I be allowed in?

    No 21+

Are 20 year olds allowed in?

    Must be 21

When is Latin night? On the other nights, is there Latin music?

Thursdays. Great time, great music, and great people!

Is there life music on Sunday?

    Yes.

    Is there a dress code?

    No there is not.

Should I go to this place?

I recommend this place for ambiance, service, music, and location. It is however not the best place for food. The menu is very limited and believe it or not, the drinks also need a lot of work.

Is there a good crowd on Wednesday nights? How is the live music on Wednesday's?

When it gets cooler out, I think they have live music on Wednesday. I would recommend calling them about the current live music schedule, since it's still pretty warm out.

What's the restriction on age? Under 21 not allowed? or they can enter but no alcohol?

    21 and over

I'm gonna give three stars because the service was great at the bar and the server was attentive outside and quick although she didn't know the menu well. I ordered the cheese plate to split with my children and no one knew what was on it when I asked, but I was later informed that I got a tomato jelly and honey mustard as the sauces. To me a $30 cheese plate would not come with a container of honey mustard so I was not impressed. When I asked what cheeses were on it they told me there was 2 different cheddars. There was no way it was a cheddar it was a very soft cheese. I believe it was a goat cheese. The almonds were probably the best part of the whole platter. My husband got wings, which were very big. He enjoyed those and the sauce, and my other daughter got meatballs, which she enjoyed, but thought they were a little spicy, I find that usually when kids order things that are spicy servers will say just so you know that has a little bit of heat to it to which the waitress did not again, I don't think she was very knowledgeable on the menu in general . This beer-focused bar isn't the easiest to find because it's underground down a stairwell. Look for the signage close to the stairwell. Ambiance (3.5/5): We sat at a booth at the bar. It's one of the few seats that have back support (which is important to me due to my old man back). Outside of that, it's all barstool seating with no back support inside. Outside, they have a small patio with chairs. That would be another option for me when the weather cooperates. The decor inside is your typical beer bar decor. Laid back. Comfortable. There's a jukebox. A cool place to grab some brews. Service (3.5/5): Two bartenders were working that evening and they were pretty solid. I did have to grab their attention a few times but no biggie. The Whining Pig has daily specials including a beer and grilled cheese combo on Wednesdays. I was curious on the price. They didn't know nor did they find out. That was a miss. Food (N/A): No food for me on this visit as I had dinner prior. They have a small menu, mostly made up of various grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a classic one, a pizza one, and a few others. I'm a dan of grilled cheese so I'll definitely try one out at some point. They also have charcuterie boards. Drinks (4.5/5): Now for the good stuff! Unlike most beer spots, they also have wine and several cocktails. But when in Rome, so I went with a beer flight. You can choose five beers of your choosing from a list of 40 beers or so. While they don't brew their own beer, they have an interesting selection of local craft beers and European ones. The types of beers you're not going to find at your neighborhood bar, including saisons and sours. The flight is served in a pig shape holder which was pretty funny. Flights are always my go-to when they're offered as they allow you to try out a nice variety. Added bonus: Walk down the hallway past the bathrooms and you'll run into Pigtails---a speakeasy owned by the same folks. That way, you can get both your brews and elevated cocktails fix in the same night.

If you still can't decide the friendly bar staff will help you out, there are a lot of options. They do have some things on happy hour. Food wise they have a charcuterie board, grilled cheese sandwiches& potato chips. Menu items from Pigtails are also available at the bar. There is a big bar top area and other indoor table seating, patio is shady during the day. I'd recommend this spot if you're out shopping and need a break or if you just want a cool bar to hang out at. If you like ciders the Black Widow -Original Sin cider is very delicious.

I've been to The Mighty Axe twice. Ambiance (4/5): This is part of what I love about The Mighty Axe. It has a cabin feel to it. Despite being in Phoenix, you feel like you've been transported to the mountains. There's some seating at the bar as well as some comfortable seating close to a fireplace. The barstools at the bar don't have back support (which is always a con in my book). The music tends to be solid. All in all, a cool spot. And a casual one at that. Service (4/5): The service tends to be friendly, laidback, and efficient. Just like I like it. Food (N/A): I've been on a liquid diet both times, and to be honest, I'm not even sure if they have food. Drinks (3.5/5): Everyone likes different flavor profiles when it comes to cocktails. The Mighty Axe has a solid list, though one that is not super appealing to my taste. Outside of their cocktail list, they have a full bar. The Mighty Axe, if the name didn't give it away, is both a bar and an axe throwing place. While I haven't done any axe throwing, I've checked out the area where it's located (the back of the bar).
