I haven't been to the Yard House in years, so I was pretty excited to go back. I joined my son and his friend for their prom dinner. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in at 5 on a Saturday, during prom season, and get a table immediately. I asked the server what he recommended and got what he did not recommend, which was any of the tacos. He did mention the chicken nachos were good, quick and huge but that wasn't what I was feeling like, though my sons friend did order them and my goodness they are HUGE. My son got boneless wings, two different flavors, he said the Korean flavor wasn't that good but the black pepper bourbon (I think) was good. I got the cheesesteak and sweet potato fries. It was tasty. Also they gave the boys a free small dessert b/c it was prom night. That was a nice touch! The server was nice enough as was the hostess staff. I was unimpressed with the menu however. Its definitely not the same menu I remembered. I was hoping for a yummy pasta dish for dinner but they only had two pasta dishes on their menu and neither were what I was looking for. Stopped by Yard House at Desert Ridge for what was supposed to be a "quick lunch" after a movie and somehow ended up on a full-blown beer-tasting adventure. Oops. I ordered the fish and chips, and let me tell you--those golden beauties were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and basically whispered sweet nothings to my taste buds. My partner got the grilled chicken & avocado sandwich, which included a nice salad. It was so good I only got one bite before it mysteriously disappeared. Suspicious. ‍ We also shared fried pickles and onion rings, because we believe in balanced diets (one fried thing in each hand). And yes, I had a delicious dark breakfast beer. At lunch. Because I'm an adult and I make excellent decisions. The beer list is wild--in the best way. We tried a few different 'build your own flights' and felt like very classy connoisseurs, even though we were just pointing at names that sounded cool. "Ooh, this one has notes of citrus and... questionable life choices." The staff is pretty well educated and our waiter was an excellent guide. He must have majored in beer in college. You know that feeling when you go in on Cloud 9 but then all of a sudden everything just stumbles down pretty. That pretty much was how this dinner at Yard House went. The 4 of us placed orders for our food and given my limited eatings, I specifically went all out and requested the Korean Steak cooked medium with vegetables as a side. Everyone's food came out however, when mine arrived, I could barely see it so I use my phone light and realized that my steak was cooked "well done" and wasn't served with vegetables requested. The staff quickly realized there was mix up... and said they would rush to replace the meal. That's when things went worst because it took over 20+ minutes to receive my meal and no one could provide me with an update, nor could I find a server to refill my drink or check on us. The one item that I did get, was the Kale & Romaine Caesar. Extremely good... the one bright spot! I asked multiple times the status of my meal as it took even longer to cook the second time around. Everyone else at the table had finished eating after 10 minutes, so I excused everybody while I sat there in frustration trying to figure out why. That's one of the worst feelings when you come in with high expectations and then you're just stuck waiting as I was "starving". Eventually when the food did come out I finished it off, but it really wasn't stellar as I was hoping. The staff manager on hand was very helpful and did compliment our entire meal at that point. From the moment we were seated, Jaden made our experience incredible. He was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations that totally hit the spot. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time--not just rushing through service like at some places. Our drinks were never empty, the food came out perfectly timed, and he checked in just the right amount without being overbearing. Jaden even remembered small details we mentioned early in the meal and followed up on them, which shows he really listens. That kind of service is rare these days! If you're going to Yard House, definitely ask for Jaden--you won't regret it. He takes the whole experience up a notch! read more

I've been to several of the Yard House locations over the years and they have all been good. We decided to try this one out because we were in the mood for a good steak. And we were quite happy with our choice. Even for a busy Saturday at lunch we were sat quickly. Our server was awesome (I'm sad I forgot her name or I would shout her out here.). I'm not a big Old Fashioned fan but this one was quite lovely with the honey and Smokey flavor. And I always love their vast beer selection. We came for the steak. The steak was amazing. The filet mignon seems a bit pricey at first glance but it was honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had. It would have been blasphemy to put anything on it. Cooked to a perfect medium rare. Peppery and delicious. Tender. Melt in your mouth. We also ordered the whiskey and aged cheddar burger which was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Something about the flavors they combine was just right. And again performed with pink in the middle. I have literally nothing bad to say about this experience. The line for an inside table at 6 pm on a Wednesday was about 25 minutes. However, the patio was open and we were seated immediately. Even though it was a cold December evening, they had heat lamps providing lots of warmth. Our server came by almost immediately for our drink order and the drinks arrived pretty quickly. I ordered the pork burger which was very tasty and it comes with fries, which are delightful. If you are going to the AMC theater, this is a good place for a pre- or post-movie drink. Parking here is not really a challenge as Desert Ridge has tons of parking. The road to get to your parking spot may take a few minutes as it can be very busy. Inside is quite noisy. We always get the poke nachos and drinks when we come here. It's nice to have the little tablet to pay games but to also pay right away. I am a fan of yard house and this was my first time at this location. We went for our happy hour and enjoy all the different beers and cocktails they serve. The service was quick and the waitress was super friendly. We went with Paloma margarita, Guinness beer for drinks. The Guinness was a little disappointing, coz it wasn't cold and not foamy either. For the food we ordered, onion rings, Buffalo wings, gardein wings, poke salad, jambalaya, margarita pizza. Everything was delicious, large quantity and tasted perfect except for jambalaya. It was too salty, they didn't have Angel hair pasta and wasn't at its best taste. I definitely want to come back again and try other things off their menu. read more

This place is always packed so I assumed it would be a sure thing, but I was really disappointed. Starting off, the drinking water was not good. Maybe it was due to a bad or old filter, but it was just not palatable. Then the food was really slow to arrive. We were actually rethinking ordering entrees because of how long the appetizers were taking to get to the table. When the crispy Brussels Sprouts came out, they looked delicious but were really undercooked with bits of the inedible husk still attached. We sent them back and were graciously offered to have them remade, on the house. We accepted and although the remade dish was properly cooked, and we wanted so badly to enjoy them, there was still hard, inedible husk attached to about 75% of the sprouts. We let them know and the kitchen manager was kind and grateful for the feedback. My $35 filet mignon was promised to be a good and delicious choice, but it was not. Although the sear and cook on it was technically right, the cut of meat was grisly and lacking flavor. It needed salt and more grilling spices, but it still would have been tough, which a filet should not. To add to the disappointing dining experience, the to-go container's lids did not fit. The worst part of this was when I informed our server about the problem and he admitted that he was aware. He said it was just the latest shipment that came in. So who made the choice to give them to guests anyway? My server was very friendly and attentive, and he got a nice tip. The kitchen manager who followed up with us about the bad Brussels sprouts was also caring, professional and gracious. She did not charge us for them and our interactions were positive. That said, I paid $200 for just three people to have an unnecessarily long, unappetizing and disappointing dining experience. The prices are far too high for the quality of food and drink and the kitchen is much too slow for a lunch time dine-in. I'm sad to say we won't be back and I hope this gives the restaurant some opportunity to grow into its potential, or at least save some other patrons the trouble of finding out for themselves. read more

Absolutely devastating experience I never thought I'd have to write something like this. My friends and I came to this restaurant expecting a fun night out, but what we experienced was deeply hurtful and humiliating. From the start, our server was noticeably disrespectful, dismissive, and rude in a way that felt targeted. When we politely asked why we were being treated that way, we were completely brushed off. We then asked to speak with the owner or someone in charge. Instead of helping resolve the situation, a manager came over and told us that the owner "wouldn't want to see people like us." We were stunned. Next thing we knew, multiple security guards were escorting us out as if we had done something wrong. We were still in shock, trying to understand why we were being kicked out. As we were leaving, the server who had been disrespectful from the beginning started mocking us openly and loudly. It was cruel. We left the restaurant shaken, humiliated, and in tears. No one deserves to be treated this way. I will never return, and I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. read more

We went twice in one night, both pre and after an event at MIM down the road. Both times we had wonderful service from two great young ladies. The first visit was for a quick bite before our event. Good was done well and prepared quickly. The second visit was for a snack and drinks. Great late evening snacks with decent selection of beer and wine. First visit was rather busy and we only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Later was very much emptied out and relaxing. Four out of five stars. We went here on a weeknight for dinner.  When we arrived the place was packed, and there was a fairly long wait, but it turned out to be worth the wait :-) Tip: The food they serve here is typical bar food, but if you know that going in you won't have a problem finding something you like on their menu There are lots of TVs all around, and they're tuned to various sports channels.  If you're not a sports person then you should probably go somewhere else, but if you want to watch a game while you eat this is a great place for it! read more

I decided to go for my birthday this time & was extremely impressed with my server & the service we received! For starters I had the edamame which is always amazing 10/10, it's a great portion and extremely flavorful. I ordered the margherita pizza which was good however I'd give it an 8/10 simply because they tend to put a bunch of minced garlic under the mozzarella which was extremely overpowering & I found myself having to scrape a lot of garlic off with my fork. My fiancé had the wings and he said they were the best wings he's had in a while! 11/10 I also got a complimentary birthday dessert & it was delicious!! 10/10 I wish I remembered our servers name she was super sweet and attentive, I had a great birthday dinner. read more

Really awesome food at Desert Ridge marketplace. Had a serving of lobster garlic noodles with really nicely sized pieces of Lobster in my plate and some other Seafood as well.
