The server was also very attentive. She brought us drinks on time when we were running low and was patient and checked up on us when we didn't know what to order. The apps we got were the poke nachos and the firecracker shrimp. We definitely went with a seafood vibe for tonight. Good spice but not too spicy and the crunch factor that I love in my dishes. Try both , if you get the chance. But poke nachos over the shrimp. I would skip on the Lobster Garlic noodles as it just wasn't garlicky at all. Especially for the price... The taste is great but for it to be called a garlic noodles, it was very lacking in all garlic taste. We've had the normal garlic noodles before where it's just shiitake mushroom and again that didn't have any garlic like taste to it. Now the Jambalaya was good but I wouldn't ordered it again. ( there's so many dishes we want to try at Yardhouse. So, we usually won't order the same dish,unless it's something we constantly bring back up) They had different rice options and we went with the Mexican rice. My daughter and son-in-law took me for my birthday. The waitress knew it was my birthday didn't offer the birthday brookie. We had to ask about it then we ended up leaving. She knew that my steak was bloody even though it was ordered medium well she didn't bring our salads out till it was time for our meal and all came at once She didn't remember to bring my dressing. She didn't remember the onions on my salad. Our drinks weren't refilled we had to ask several times, and then the manager came out and he finally looked at my steak which was still bleeding. The last mouthful I had was just blood taste, which I do not like, and it had a medium well fork in it identify it was supposed to be medium well so the manager kept wanting to send me with another steak and I told him no we weren't waiting. We'd been there waiting long enough as it was and there was hardly anybody there. I cannot believe the service was so bad and the food was so bad. This was on a Thursday around 2 o'clock Westgate, Arizona. I will never go there again. Their prices are overpriced $40-$50 a bill. They ruined my birthday dinner which was very upsetting that I would have to make a complaint on my birthday upset my daughter too. The ticket was way over $150. I had once attended the soft opening of a pub-style restaurant--a chaotic affair riddled with amateur service and even a serving of raw chicken. And yet, even that debacle seemed a distant utopia compared to the hellscape Daniel had constructed this night. At least there, one could excuse the folly of inexperience. Here, there was no such justification. Only malice--or worse, indifference. Oh, Daniel. Yard house is a restaurant that I usually go to when I'm at home and need a guaranteed great meal. When I travel I never go here because I try to go to restaurants that aren't in the current city in which I live. The work group that I was traveling with wanted to go here because they wanted something they always have, but didn't but tagged along anyway. I'm honestly glad that I did. I got the spicy jambalaya for the first time ever and it was absolutely perfect and so delicious. It was a lot of food so the average person might box up half and take it home but it was so great I ate it all in one sitting. I originally wanted the brown rice to go with it but all they had was white rice left and it turned out fine. I highly recommend this dish. They knew what they were doing! Had a chance to eat here while visiting and it did not disappoint. They are known for their large selection of on tap draft beers. They have over 100. We waited about 15 minutes but were then sat in a booth. They have technology that you can use to view any menu item as well as pay your check. We started with the Four Cheese Spinach Dip and Firecracker Shrimp. Both were delicious. The spinach dip was creamy and had great flavor. The shrimp is served over a rice cake which is unique but very delicious. Our entrees were the crispy traditional wings and Shiitake garlic noodles. The noodles were delicious and filled with flavor. The wings are breaded but are crispy. They give you a choice of 2 sauces with 10 wings and I had buffalo and lemon pepper rub. Our server was great! I haven't been here in quite some time. I've never visited this location and unfortunately, they had removed one of my favorite dishes that I liked. It was Saturday night, so it was very packed so we expected good service, but I wasn't expecting excellent service just because of the amount of people that were in the building. That's it. Our server was very good. She was very attentive. There were some things wrong but not her fault things from the kitchen, which she replaced very quickly. It was 11 of us so the order was kind of large and hard to keep up with. I didn't order anything specific because they didn't have my dish And I tried the chicken tortilla soup which I didn't like it all so I sent it back but everyone seem to enjoy the food. The appetizer were good and because we were in a rush to see the fireworks, we asked for food to go. Our server was super flexible and got it to us in a timely manner. We ended up staying to have dessert and that was good too, I just wish our seats had better views of the fireworks. I would def ask to sit outside next time! The " large" jambalaya was mainly a larger portion of rice but the protein was minimal and the rice was more on the dry side. My friend ate the protein and left a majority of the rice behind. I had the Nashville "hot" chicken but it was over cooked and minimally seasoned. Drinks were okay but I do miss the old variety of the martini menu. Came here during the evening happy hour. I tried their San Diego and San Antonio locations before and passed by many other locations. I think this one is the largest size of them all. They also offer lots of outside tables, we got one of them. The restaurant was clean and nice with lots of friendly servers. I knew their onion rings. It is one of my regular orders from them. I don't know if it is the presentation or the onion ring itself, but I always like them, and this wasn't an exception. Onion rings came with two dipping sauces, and both of them were good. I also ordered 32oz draft Sapporo beer which comes in a giantly long beer glass. The beer came way later than the onion rings though. I thought drinks came first, but somehow, beer came way later than the onion rings. I stopped myself to start eating first. But it was getting cold. At least I managed to eat way slower to eat than my normal slow eating process. Finally, beer was there and I could enjoy them together. As for the meal, I got the Carnivore pizza from the happy hour deal. The pizza was a little on the dry side but had lots of meat. Still enjoyable. The pizza was large size even though it was from the happy hour. I wasn't able to finish it there and got them all to go. Went here for a company celebration. 5 years is pretty significant for a nonprofit that helps inner city youth teens live a more full life creating lasting change through relationship building. Thankful for the board allowing all that work tirelessly to help others enjoy a night of relaxing fun and encouragement in life building with one another and the staff was so helpful in allowing this to happen. Everything was handled with care non intrusive and timely help that despite being such a large chain we felt cared for by the staff. We visited Phoenix and used a Groupon for a beer tasting at this establishment. When we arrived on a Friday night at 8:30 PM, the place was empty, which made it feel quite sad. Perhaps it was just a slow day. While we enjoyed the beers we tried, none of them were particularly memorable.
