Food is reasonably good, not exceptional. The beer selection is incredibly large, and I wonder how they turn 100 different draft beers quickly enough that they will still remain "fresh". Restaurant was half full when we were there, and yet the service was "yawn" extremely slow. read more

I'm a big fan. Great beer, excellent food/menu. Check out the happy hour menu late nights, it's Affordable, the food is spectacular. It's a great place for a date(or to find a date) or to watch the game with the guys. read more

Good menus prices service. Pleasant server. All orders came as requested and very tasty

hada pepper jack burger and a kale Caesar side salad. but the beer selection is fabulous. there were 4 RI beers available Revival Brewing conga, Foolproof Brewing Peanut Butter Porter. and 2 beers from Grey sail. started with the Conga. ten discovered their belgian sampler. ordered a St Bernardus Wit, Petrus Sour, Gulden Carolus Grand Cru of the Emperor and a Gulden Drak aged in Calvados barrels. when the sampler arrived on of the beers was wrong and they happily replaced it with the one i ordered. Excellent. read more

Love this place ! The wait is never too bad if you go during busy hours . Food always consistent and the service is always terrific !

My husband and I love this restaurant the alcohol menu as a wide variety the longest I've seen in a restaurant so they are very strict about ID( always ask us for ID even when it's clear we are above 21). I love their parmesan chicken absolutely yummy, my husband get steak always. One thing I dislike about this restaurant is it gets loud and super busy, it's more like a hot spot so not fitting for a quite romantic setting, whenever we go to eat Always busy but we love it because it serve good food. read more

Service was good, mixed drinks a little weak. Don't get the club sandwich. It really very small. I love a good club sandwich and usually have trouble finishing the last piece. Not here. It's basically just a 1/2 sandwich they pile on top of it's self and call it a club. $12.00 outrageous for a 1/2 sandwich. Huge beer selection if u drink beer which I don't. Just a so-so experience. Would try something else next time Expensive ! read more

This is my go to spot! I love the service, the drinks and the chicken nachos!! My only complaint is that they just changed their menu and got rid of my favorite dessert- rip banana creme brulee you may be gone but you will never be forgotten read more

After looking forward to the Yard House opening up for quite some time now I finally made it in there with a few friends over the weekend. I love the fact that they have over 100 beers on draft but I hate that the fact that you have to take a loan out if you are having more then one. OK that is a bit of an exaggeration but wow are beers expensive here. Maybe that is why they do not put prices on the menu, two of my friends ordered $8 beers! After a few drinks and an appetizer to forget we made our way over to Kings to save what was left of the night. read more

I will never go to this place ever again first of all the service was horrible. The waitress was very rude and rolled her eyes at us every time we asked for something. Also we got nachos and there was a hair inside. Also the food was very cold and very salty, and everything seemed so rushed. If was a zero star option I would chose it read more

I tried Yard House for the first time a few weeks ago for a friend's birthday. I have Celiac disease, and asked if they had a gluten free menu as soon as I walked in. The manager assured me that they did and that I would be well taken care of. I ordered off the menu and told the waitress that I had celiac, and she told me they would be careful to avoid cross contamination. I ordered the carnitas street tacos with brown rice and beans. About two minutes after I ordered, another woman came over and told me I actually could not order the carnitas tacos because they had gluten in them. What!? Why is it on the menu then!? She informed me that it is a gluten sensitive menu and not a gluten free menu (what the point of that is, I'm not entirely sure). She told me that the blackened swordfish tacos are 100% gluten free and they will be fine for a celiac to eat. I agreed to order that because she seemed so confident. The food was not great, but it was okay and I nibbled at it for a little while. About 10 minutes after I left the restaurant, I started to feel sick and was sick for a full day -- sicker than I can remember being from gluten in a LONG time. Awful! I called the restaurant to inform them that the tacos are NOT gluten free. I would have preferred that they told me they could not serve me than tell me they were positive my food was safe for a celiac and then be ill all night. If you're gluten free, do NOT waste your time here -- Wicked next door has a GREAT menu and I have never gotten sick there. Yard House did not even offer a refund. read more

On a friends recommendation went to this establishment. Average food, not so impressed slow service.

Food and Service excellent, Huge beer selection. The atmosphere was very noisy

Unlike Yasa, my husband and I are very happy to be known as regulars! We come from Wisconsin, where being a regular means you know your bartenders and staff, and they know you, which means you get great service-well, at the Yard House in Dedham, you get great service whether or not you're a regular. The ones we see on a regular basis deserve a LOT of credit. First and foremost...Dennis is the man you need to see-always happy to see his customers! Adam, Marlon, John, Whitney, Dan, Ashly, Kyana, and Charlie (bartenders) the barbacks Sean and John, and servers Renee, Crystal and Drew-they're all awesome people! The managers we see are Daniels and Heather (who is now at Fenway) Anyways, we always feel welcomed, we always sit at the bar, and we always get taken care of. These people are GREAT at their jobs-otherwise we wouldn't come back as much as we do. Both my husband and I have worked as bartenders/servers, and know what it means to be treated like we are. The food is always good! (so props to the people in the kitchen too!) We usually stick to our avocado swiss burgers (swap pepperjack for swiss), add bacon and one medium, one medium rare. We've gotten a few other things, but we love our burgers-which are always delicious. Friends meet us there and we've never heard a complaint. We usually stand at the open spot at the end of the bar by the kitchen and wait until seats open up at the bar (or the bartenders will help us scout them out) just so we can interact with these guys! We've had some interesting things happen while we've lived in the Boston area, and we can always count on our friends at the Yard House to lend us an ear. We now live in Dedham, so we're much closer-and will be there more frequently. We could go lots of places in the Boston area for dinner and drinks and spend about the same, if not more, but we love this place because of the people that work there. We are self proclaimed beer snobs-being from Wisconsin, having been bartenders, managed a small/high end specialty liquor store/homebrewers....and they have a great beer selection. Best one we've seen around here. Other places have a good selection, but this one is constantly good! I hope I didn't forget anyone, but I had to rave about this team-outstanding! read more

Place opened the latest in dedham legacy mall. Don't not complain about undercooked food or just plain sloppy food or the whole staff will turn against you. Consistantley disapointed. read more

If you like beer, you have to come here. I first started going to Yard Houses when I lived in San Diego. there are about 150+ beers on tap from all over the world. You have the option of ordering a half yard, but if you don't drink your beer fast enough it gets warm. I don't recommend it. Yardhouse has a pretty interesting menu with lots of choices. Everything I've had so far is pretty good. It's a good place to go with kids since it's so loud already. Tons of TVs all over the place so it's also a good place to go watch a game. Another plus, there's parking! The wait can be long but you can shop while you wait. They don't take reservations. read more

This place constantly disappoints me. Food is mediocre at best. Have been served cold food, moldy bread etc. Nothing but the beer selection and location stand out here. Overpriced for the quality that you get. Only go between 3-5 when the apps are half priced. That's all they are worth. Go to wicked pizza across the way. Much better food and actually worth the wait. read more

An amazing selection of beers on tap, however the menu is quite large and diverse and gets me wondering how they can prepare food ranging from Asian themed to Mexican. Decided on the fish tacos when they arrived looks like fish sticks in a tortilla, the sauce they put on the tacos was delicious but overall sub par. if I go back I'd try something different. Atmosphere is great for an after work drink and an app. read more

Was in the other day for a quick bite, sat at the bar, we had a few beers which were of course tasty. Also had the spinach dip, which always keeps me coming back. I did order another truffle burger and it did come out undercooked again. The staff was beyond understanding as well as rectified the situation immediately. Things happen and I appreciated the service. Thanks yardhouse good as always ! read more

I was so excited to find out that the Yard House has come to the east coast. My first experience with the Yard House was when I was visiting family in California. Each time I went out there we had to make a stop - it became my favorite place to eat. I will be making a trip to Dedham in May for my birthday dinner! read more

We went on 4th of July. It was a disaster. They sat 4 parties ahead of us. Then when we finally got sat, we waited 20 minutes for a server who never showed up. We walked out after no one came in 20 minutes. Won't ever go back. read more

I am disappointed that they have decided to take away their french fries seeing as they were the best fries I've ever had. They replaced them with ones that are not as good. The worst part is they did not alert anyone concerning this matter. Disappointing but the yard house is still a great restaurant. read more

Just came here with a few friends.. everyone loved their meals. I got a fish taco for an app and the blackened chicken torta for my meal (we also got fried Mac and cheese..we were hungry). Everything was amazing and I almost cried when I dropped my take out box on the floor and lost my beautiful truffle fries. And Shannon, our waitress was great read more

100 beers on tap, yet nothing overly special. The service was good enough but our waitress had a problem when a few friends came over from the bar to chit chat at our table. They do have some interesting looking appetizers that I would try. I think the highlight for me was the 80's music videos playing on the flatscreens. read more

Great food , never disappointed in the quality or taste. Have been to several locations including Palisades Mall in NY and Lynnfield location being more on the quiet atmosphere (my preferred) . But to be expected with the approaching New Years celebrations and a Saturday night , was very hard to have a conversation at our table without raising voice. Waitress, Danielle was very friendly and on top of our drinks. We did call ahead before doing some shopping and put our names on the list being told the wait was 35min(expected) . Although we did wait about 50 minutes before being seated. I was standing near the hostess table and noticed they seemed to be having issues with the pagers, I saw 3 other parties say their pager went off and the hostess spoke to another employee that they didn't select the pager (happened to me as I saw her select my name on the computer, and a party of 2s pager went off) oh well. In the end we left full , had a good meal but probably will pick a different time and date if we want to return for that quiet atmosphere. read more

Yard House - Bars Near Me - Dedham, Massachusetts

Awesome place to go for beers and apps. More of a fan of the apps than the dinner menu, but all around good. Good atmosphere and always busy. Weekday bar apps are a great price for an after work place to meet. read more

Much better than expected. I ordered tuna. Jane (I'm assuming the manager) came by to apologize that the tuna was unavailable and was very helpful, including comping me for dessert (without me even asking for it). She was fantastic. The bartender, Dan, was also fantastic (attentive, but not overly so). I highly recommend it. read more

Awesome food and atmosphere! the staff is always so nice and treat you like a real customer! best food in dedham by far!

Would not come here again. There were six of us, so we called ahead and put our names in. When we got there, we were told on weekends you could not call ahead. So why didn't the person that answered the phone know this. We were seated at a nice horseshoe shaped table ,but the music was so loud, we could not hear ourselves think. I asked a hostess to turn down the music and she informed be that it was not possible. We ended up texting each other during the entire meal. The food was. good and our server was attentive, but I would still not return. read more

I've eaten here twice, both times our food was dropped without silverware or napkins on the table. Our request for such basic items were met with eye-rolling. Entrees were delivered both times while apps sat almost untouched due to the aforementioned lack of utensils. Food was warm and not hot. Good beer selections, but in general it's an over-priced, poorly managed, suburban franchise that should be avoided. Plus it's located in that sprawling nightmare of a parking lot that is Legacy Place. I'd rather support an independently owned bar in the area. read more

I rarely go here and every time i do I'm reminded why i don't like to go. The service is slow and not very good at all. This particular time my party of three were seated on the side with the booths. When i asked the hostess if we could be seated at the open booth she informed me it was for larger parties (they are pretty big booths). I was fine with that until about two minutes later the exact same hostess sat a party of three in the open booth. When i looked around at the other 8 booths i realized 5 of them had parties of 3 or less. Larger parties my butt! I ordered a regular 1800 margarita and received water with a splash of margarita mix. Two out of three of our meals were aldo overcooked. This yard house is extremely over rated, poorly designed, filled with an unaccommodating staff and did i mention over priced? I work in the mall and this is the one place i tell people not to go to. read more

I just read reviews and smiled. Iplanned on going with a group this week and realize no reservations....could be an issue! But I experienced similar service the last time i ate at the Yard house in Dedham...how do you confuse meals with only two people eating? Drinks? They did! Also, not much attention as to how are you doing? need anything else? Servers could use a refresher course on service! I believe the staff could use a course on manners as well....so we will see what happens this next visit in a few days! Oh, I forgot to mention the time they forgot to make dessert for someone in our party? Quite an excuse about the issue and then wanted to bring it after we had paid the bill! Hmmm....again wait staff! read more

Usually a great visit but it started with me staring at my drink near service bar for 10 minutes. Even when I asked the server she mentioned that servers run drinks... so after four servers skipped my drink I got up and grabbed it myself. Now on 20 minutes and we haven't gotten an appetizer in yet. It's definitely been exciting because she's hot! Finally got our order in, told it was shift change. In the business I understand the pain that tends to be on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered our second round and watched the game unfold again. We did get to order 2 peppercorn filet medium rare both came out incorrectly. My plate was scalding hot and my guests plate was just warm. My steak was well done and her steak was medium. They recooked my steak and it was delicious, the manager did return to check on us. We finished and left... The 3 stars were for this visit... I know they're great for a five star visit read more

Never again is right. Waited 45 minutes beyond reservation time to be seated for a family celebration. Service excruciatingly slow at every step. Couldn't propose a toast to our honorees because it took 20 minutes for everyone to get drinks. Still waiting for our waters. Dinner orders mixed up and missing, no bussers once we were done and took 4! tries to get 2 bowls of vanilla ice cream. Come on. Granted we were a party of 11, but if you can't handle - Don't Accept The Reservation! Food ok, but after an hour and a half anything would have tasted ok. If you are a party larger than 4 don't waste your time with the Yard House, Dedham. read more

We were sat almost immediately which was great because I was starving. Atmosphere was just right. Not too much hustle and bustle . My burger was cooked medium and fries were a bit cold but other than that it was a good exoerience read more

Obviously the beer selection is its raison d'être, but would it kill them to include prices and sizes? The food is plenty good - the nachos were among the best I've had locally. But classic rock, emphasized so much it's part of the logo? Classic rock is lame, sorry folks. I'm not saying they should play hip hop or some obscure indie bands. Clasic Rock? I think they are targeting a slightly-over-the-hill crowd, with their fat wallets, and mom jeans. read more

Although a long wait is to be expected on a Saturday night when we were finally seated it was outside . It was a chilly night and only two heaters were working - no one should have been seated outside . It took an unusually long time for our food to be served and although the manager came over and reassured us that it would be out soon one member of our party did not get his food until well after the rest of the party. Food was warm and the truffle fries that everyone raves about were cold . The beer was good but honestly can find good beer in many places . Doubtful that we will make the trip back . read more

The food is very good especially for a "pub". What impressed me more than the food was the service. I sat at the bar during a Patriot's game and ordered an appetizer. I waited a while for the food but didn't think it unusual considering it was during a game. After it came, the manager came up to me, apologized for the delay and removed the charge from my check. read more

We went there last night (monday) and right from the greet at the door I should have known it was going to be terrible. The host was beyond rude. We had a party of 8 and she made us feel as if yard house didn't want our business. She had to call a manager up regarding our party size, um okay? After she talked to the manager about our party they set a table up (mind you there were maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant at this time). Our server was just as rude as the host. Once she brought out drinks out she told someone in our party that she was leaving and someone else was taking over. That was fine. The second server was attentive to our party but had a non approachable attitude. During our visit we had a 9th person show up and when she grabbed a chair someone came over and legit made her get up and took the chair back. WHATTTT?!?! Once our party started leaving the manager came over and took one of the tables from us without saying a word. I will never waste my money at this place again. read more
