We arrived on Friday around 1pm and the facility was already packed with people, not sure if there was an early release from school but there were a good amount of families with kids. We did have to wait for an open bay, that took "..." minutes, a bit longer than I would normally wait but the husband was adamant about hanging out. The facility is well kept inside, the staff stayed busy. They have TVs everywhere so there is absolutely no way you're missing that game. Our waitress was wonderful, kept our drinks full and made sure our orders were good to go. Our area was clean and updated. The food was ok, some items were cold when we got them but otherwise good. We went on a dreary Friday afternoon but had a great time. Angel was very attentive without being too pushy by giving us space to play while making sure we never had to wait for anything. We had the chips and queso as a little mid-afternoon snack with drinks and there was a lot of queso in 1 order and it was good. Came here with with a party of 4 on a Saturday night and we had a reservation booked for a bay ahead of time which is highly recommended. Most of the check in process was done through the topgolf app and our phones which was quick. You can also check in at the front desk. The service was great all around that we experienced and you have a server dedicated to your bay that you could order drinks and food from. One person in my party ordered 2 drinks and said they were really good. We saw a couple of parties adjacent to us order bar food and snacks as well and the food looked decent. There are a lot of different games and versions you can pick and choose from when playing. I would definitely come back as this place is good for groups and social outings. read more

Very cool spot! I had a great time here even though I don't play or know anything about golf! My husband and I came here for our friend's birthday. We were assigned a golf area where there was also a couch and table in addition to the golf-ball-hitting-spot (or whatever they call it). I wasn't expecting to be impressed by the food here as clearly the golfing activity is the main attraction, but it was surprisingly delicious! My husband and I shared the hot honey pepperoni flatbread. We both immediately commented on how good it was after the first bite; ooey-gooey cheesy pizza on fantastic dough that wasn't over or under cooked. Had an absolutely amazing time here, we came on a Tuesday which is 50% off, which was really nice. We got the golf bag drink - the berry flavored one. It was delicious and it comes with a cup you can take home (it's extra though). They had a variety of games - spanning from angry bird, targets, team scramble, and even just practicing at the driving range. The tees are pretty short, so had to adjust a little when using your driver. We brought our own clubs, but they had clubs you could use. I'll start by saying: I'm a bit of a Topgolf junkie. If I'm in a city with one, I'm probably showing up--doesn't matter if it's Arizona, Florida, or now Massachusetts. So when Canton opened, it was only a matter of time before I checked it off the list. Accessibility? A+. Elevators, automatic doors, multiple levels, bathrooms on every floor--this location nailed that part. And like most Topgolfs, there's plenty of room to just hang out even if you're not swinging a club. Big screens everywhere, lots of seating, so you can eat, drink, and watch the game without ever picking up a golf ball. But I came to golf, and the experience didn't disappoint. I grabbed a bay quickly, no tech issues at all, and the setup was as smooth as any I've played. I signed up for an hour and ended up extending--because of course I did. Now, service is where things got a little bumpy. My server was kind, but she mentioned the kitchen was slow (and it was). Drinks came out quickly, but food dragged, and when the wings finally hit the table, we didn't have plates or utensils. I ended up flagging someone else down for basics. Later, when she circled back, it was a little late in the game. Not the worst service, but definitely uneven. Speaking of wings, I went with the trio: lemon pepper, buffalo, and Asian sesame. Sesame was the clear winner--sticky, flavorful, the kind you want more of. Buffalo was solid, classic Topgolf quality. Lemon pepper? Way too crunchy, to the point where it felt like a jaw workout. Pro tip: stick with sesame. It was my birthday, so I leaned into the food-and-drink side a little more than usual. Had a Shirley Temple (yes, unapologetically) and one of their mocktails that was actually delicious--until something fell into it from the overhead light. Not exactly the garnish I was expecting. All in all: solid golf experience, a few hiccups with service, food that lands depending on what you order. Will I be back? Of course. Topgolf in Canton is a fun spot to hang out with friends. You can grab drinks, food, and enjoy some golf! All skill levels are welcome! There are tons of games to choose from. My fave was the Fantastic Four one which helped promote the movie. Playing was fun and it was actually a decent workout as my arms were sore the next day. Biggest downside: the wait for food and drinks was long! It took over an hour for food to come out after we ordered so we barely had time to eat (like 7 minutes!) before our time ended. This was also a Thursday night so it wasn't busy. They need to work on this! Also, the nachos are TINY. There were roughly 6 pieces. Do not order them they are not worth it! We also found it strange we needed to ask for utensils, shareable plates, and napkins for our food, they should have come out automatically. The check in process was easy, but they were unable to get us a bay on the upper floors which was disappointing since you can't book and choose. We tried to extend our time from 1.5 to 2 hr to finish a game and was told we couldn't, but they offered to move us to another bay for another half hour but it was more of a hassle for us so we declined. The price from the 50% off deal Mon-Thurs was great and the experience itself was fun since you don't have to be extremely skilled to have a good time and the games make it more enjoyable. The bay itself was well lit and offer ample seating as well as fans that helped keep us cool on a hot night. I tried boneless wings and red white boba and the wings were okay, but the drink was refreshing. Our server was attentive and came promptly with drinks and checked in often throughout our session. On Tuesdays, they do half off golf for walk ins & I am pretty sure you can still get half off Monday-Weds if you reserve through the app. The food is actually quite good here. First time here, half off, post gym shenanigans. I had fun with my group of 6 on one lane. We are all pretty much golf noobs. Played a variety of games, had some drinks, some food and our server was super nice. Had no issues the whole evening, got a lane walk in, after like a 5 min wait. Was on the second floor. Clubs provided worked for us noobs, slowly as we kept swinging it started to click a bit better, but definitely need to learn more and watch more videos haha. Fun times good friends and the food was surprisingly good even tho some dish portions was a tad small, but prices were fair and didn't break the bank. Def be back! Thank you. Our two waiters were very friendly and provided excellent service. However, I have to deduct a star because I found hair in my mac and cheese. We joined the waitlist through the app, received a confirmation to come, and when we walked in, the staff told us we had to wait two hours. Came here for a birthday on a weekday and had an absolute blast. It was about $80 for four of us (without food and drinks), which felt like a steal. I've heard weekends are about double, so unless you're trying to impress someone, weekday Topgolf is the way to go. The place is super clean and organized, and the staff was great -- friendly, and helpful. The food? Eh, kind of like a mix of truck food and average airport fare. But the drinks were good, even if the prices made me feel like I should've been sipping them on a beach in Maui. Very pricey drinks and food. All in all, totally worth it. Nice Canton, MA location not too far from most Boston areas. We made reservations for two bays for 12 people, 6 on each bay. I really liked the option of picking what type of golf game you want to play. It was fun watching everyone playing at different skill levels. It's great for team building and a great way to hang out for the night laughing and socializing. This is a newer location, beautifully decorated and kept very clean. There are three floors offering all weather bays, bars and a restaurant. We ordered pizzas, wings, burgers, etc. Not bad. What you would expect from a sports bar or entertainment complex. I really enjoy Top Golf and was excited to have them in Canton. I got the Platinum membership, which allows me to play for 6 months during the week from 9 am to 5 pm, which is awesome. My one issue is that the entire area is covered with snow, which kinda defeats the whole purpose. For sure a fun venue. However, their beer menu says a pint draft. Not a pint, more like 13 ounces; max. Their glass has a thicker section on the bottom that reduces the internal diameter resulting in less beer. I did use one of their 16 oz Solo cups and a full one would not fit their "pint" glass. Not surprised. I have no problem paying higher prices for beer in any venue, but do not appreciate false advertising. It is really deceptive and criminal to a degree. PS. Brought this issue to the bar staff on the Indianapolis venue (2 years ago). I demonstrated how the 16 ounce Solo cup had a lot more than their "pint" glass. They said - "I had no idea, I just use what they give me". Asked them to elevate the issue to their supervisor. Sounds like nothing has happened. read more

We hosted a company party at Topgolf with over 100 employees in attendance, and the experience was excellent. The service was great, the food was delicious, and most importantly, our employees had a good time. This was our second year hosting our event here, and once again Topgolf delivered. Derek, the Director, was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to communicate with, always available to answer questions, and consistently checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly throughout the event. The waitstaff and bartenders were also outstanding-constantly available, attentive, and on top of their service all day, which made a huge difference for an event our size. Here me out, Canton. Went to Topgolf in a late-afternoon bay with 5 of us total. When we arrived, the bay was not clean--tables still full of the previous customer's remnants, and food all over the floor. Fair enough. Our server was super friendly, and we waited for her to clean up, but there were a few service issues during our stay which I chalk up to inattentiveness. Let's get to the golf. Given the price point, I mistakenly thought Topgolf was the type of place fairly serious golfers/enthusiasts went to hone skills while enjoying the socialization of the "19th hole". I believe Topgolf is having an identity crisis...we were stuck amidst two different birthday parties for 13 year old boys. My immediate neighbors, a couple who could really smash the ball, kept looking at each other with sympathetic WTF glances. For the love of all that is holy, PUT ALL THE BIRTHDAY PARTIES ON THE SAME FLOOR. Put all the patrons who expect a Chuck E. Cheese experience together. I almost died when staff members paraded past our bay, singing HBD loudly, delivering some kind of dessert. Had I wrongly parked my car at the neighborhood Chilis??? After two holes at St. Andrews, we decided to order two appetizers and another round; the drinks came quick enough, but after 30 minutes, there was no sign of the food; our server had no memory of our request and put a "rush" on them, which was another 25 minutes for a hummus platter (very good--the pick of the menu) and mac n' cheese bites, which were just cheese balls and decidedly "meh". I want to come back and actually play more golf (now that I have the hang of the computer simulation) and enjoy more of the menu, but I'll be honest, I'll be making all the Karen demands of avoiding birthday parties with screaming youts. If I were the event planner at Topgolf, I'd design the online booking to suss out the type of patron making reservations, so all the party people can be put on the same floors in adjacent bays. Put the folks wanting to actually play golf on other floors--and so on and so on. I always hear people talk about this place but since I've never been good at golfing I never wanted to come. However this is fun regardless, and on this day I watched a video and learned how to hit the ball. The servers were acting like they didn't want to be there so that made it a little bit wack because it was hard to get drinks. But the staff at the desk when you walk in are absolutely exceptional they were so friendly so helpful answered all my questions gave me all the details I needed to know and was just phenomenal. Been to a few different top golf for corporate events and wanted to go on a fun date. They try to make booking easy with a slick app, but it actually makes things a lot harder. I booked a bay on Saturday at 3:30PM. Looked to see if there are different times available (e.g. 3PM), but the app won't let you saying you already have time booked. Great, let me cancel my time to look, and see, worse comes to worse I can rebook it. Nope, 5 seconds later and the original time I booked can't be booked again and now the timeslots are even worse (this was at 4AM in the morning so no one else is booking). Call top golf - all reservations booked through app. We can't help you and we don't care about customer service... everything routed to a central call center. Long story short - typical corporate cost cutting measures, terrible app design, and low level of service. read more

Lots of FUN! Will return! My party of 3 went on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm. The wait was 2 hours! Most likely because it's the holiday season and celebrating since there were many corporate groups there. Once you check-in, you can get a text message to confirm you've checked in and are in queue for a bay. When I returned 2 hours later, I still hadn't received a text and Tracey was fantastic at taking care of my group and setting us up in a bay since we'd waited so long. She took the time to explain to us, first-timers to Topgolf, how game play and food service worked. She even checked in with us at the end of the night to see how everything went. The food menu has typical bar food - had the buffalo wings that were good. Enjoyed the blackberry spritzer. Our server was friendly and attentive. It took a solid 1.5 hours to finish 2.5 rounds of the basic target game; and that's without any breaks in play. You're paying for game play time so someone was always at the tee if others were eating/drinking. If you want to save money, go on a Tuesday while they have 50% off the hourly fee. Keep in mind that it's a tiered payment system. Morning is cheapest, then it gets more expensive with afternoon, and evening is most expensive at $62/hour (regular rate). And, if you've never been there, there's a $5 per person membership fee, one-time purchase. Although you can play with up to 6 people in one bay at a time, I think it's better to have a max of 4 people. For the game round, you can hit 20 balls per person before you reset the game. It's computerized so you can see the direction and speed of the ball you hit. You can hit a couple of balls and then tap the screen to a different player to track that player's play. Your game play can be saved if you use the Topgolf app and check-in to your bay. Dress for the weather! You're hitting the ball outside! But, the overhead heaters keep you quite toasty/warm while sitting at the table in the bay. So, I was fine drinking my Strawberries & Cream Soda full of ice on a night that was about 40 degrees. read more

Went back to Topgolf on a weekend and the experience was much better! RESY: Reservations open up 14 days in advance so plan accordingly! I strongly recommend making reservations on weekends especially if you are with a large group. GROUPS: A group of 10 took up two bays and luckily we were able to get bays side by side! SERVICE: Our server was great and took care of us pretty well - we were celebrating birthdays and I guess so was everyone else! A group of staff came around to the bays to wish happy birthday to everyone. FOOD: I didn't get to try other foods but the tater tots were very delicious! After my first visit and review, the manager reached out to hear more about the situation and our experience. It was great seeing the effort being made. Fabulous birthday party for 8 year old! We had my son's 8th birthday party here. We reserved 4 bays and they gave us the last 2 rooms on the end which was perfect because it was like we had our own private corner. Everyone loved the party platters. The chicken tender/ quesadilla platter was perfect for a kid's party and there was plenty of food for everyone. The party hostess was awesome. She explained everything and was always available to bring us drinks, golf clubs, plates , whatever we needed. Kids from age 2-8 had a great time playing golf. All the guests were very happy and kept commenting to my husband and I that they loved the party and that the venue was amazing!
