It's described as an up scale sport bar, which I don't quite understand. I'd say it's probably just a way to increase prices on food. The food was OK overall. It satisfied the itch. We started off with the pretzel, which was obviously not anything homemade or special. Probably came in a big box of frozen pretzels and they just threw it in a microwave to warm it up. The rest of the food was pretty good. The wings, burger and beer were all good. The best part was the unexpected live band. We didn't realize they'd have live music, but it was a treat.

Take a look at their "Health Score" from September 10th and previous dates. Do you see ALL OF THOSE VIOLATIONS??? Those were all related to rodents. Ask me how I know. Oh, because I was THERE, and I SAW an actual mouse there in March, and the Manager, Quinn P. DID NOT CARE. They have had continued to fail health inspections ever since, as you can plainly see. At least they were finally forced to close their doors for a day, and, oh, I DON'T KNOW...maybe...EXTERMINATE PROPERLY? I had an extensive review up about it, including Quinn and his completely nonchalant response, along with several follow up reviews as I saw the continued health inspection failures. Feel free to take a look at what the violations were FOR, below, lucky for you, it's all public record! So it's my pleasure to share with you! https://www.cityofboston.gov/isd/health/mfc/History.aspx?args=IjYxoXMODXM= Check out all the inspections done before 8/8, they are ALL REGARDING RODENTS. Apparently they appear to have FINALLY bothered to clean up the issue, but not until SEVEN MONTHS of pressure and inspections from the Health Inspectors. Maybe we should think about going back? Maybe.

We met our daughter and her friend that works in the area here for lunch. The place us set up nice, every modern and clean. The staff was very welcoming and we were taken care of quickly. The server made suggestions and answered our questions about the menu. The ticket times were really good and the food was delicious. The fried pickles were as good as Kyle said they were. The portion sizes were good and we plan to come here again to try some of the other menu offerings.

I already gave Boston Ale House a five star review nine months ago, but my boyfriend and I had such a wonderful experience here last night that I am compelled to give them another five star review if Yelp will allow that. This sports bar has a laid back, yet upscale vibe with TVs scattered around so you can watch the game(s) while enjoying your meal. Our waitress, Madison provided exceptional service. She patiently answered our questions about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS!!! We both ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes, asparagus and onion strings which I highly recommend. The steak tips were cooked to perfection. Even though we both ordered ours well done, they were still moist and tender. The mashed potatoes were creamy with just the right amount of salt. We also got a side dish of the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Shallots and Bacon which was cooked in a mouthwatering delicious sauce. I've never had such amazing Brussel sprouts anywhere else. We will definitely be coming back here more often and plan to make Boston Ale House part of our regular restaurant rotation. Thank you for making our Saturday evening so pleasant!

Stir fry vegetables. With Frozen chicken

I just purchased a take out order for $104. we order 1 bones in chicKen, 2 vegetable stir fry, 1 order of potato skins and 1 order of fish and chips. The chicken was warm not freshly cooked and the chicken skin is so hard to chew (old chicKen). The potato skins were lukewarm and either over cooked or cooked frozen. The potato flesh is brown. The vegetable stir fry came with chicken that had the burnt strips on them, so those were frozen and dry. i tried to eat them but choked. I tried calling back several times but voicemail came on. Very frustrating and disappointing. Usually the food is good. I enjoyed other dishes before. Tonight was not a good night for them! Not going back!

This place is a big, fun tavern with classic American/bar food. The staff is attentive and provide good service. I love coming here when I want to grab a bite and watch a sports game on one of their many big screens. The bar is usually full of people there for the same reason I just described. This place is big enough to sit away from the bar if you want a more intimate experience with a group of people or just one other person. I believe they also have trivia nights and for those nights, I recommend making a reservation.

The service is great. That's all I have to say I saw them in the back packing up a Togo box with no gloves pushing the food down.

We were seated outside and our waitress was kind and attentive to us. We didn't experience slow service, and it was quick ordering with her. She was on it. We got a pretty big spread of food (honey bbq tenders, nachos, lobster roll, steak and cheese wontons, and margarita pizza). All of it was very average. The flavors were very average and the quality of the food was nothing special. Wish it was more Seaport quality. It's a bummer since not a single plate was piping hot when it got to our table. Everything was either room temperate or cold. Still a great spot to hang out in the sun outside!

It's like someone mashed together an amusement park, a zoo, and a full-blown circus, then replaced the cotton candy with alcohol and the safety rails with chaos. Every floor felt like a different dimension--one minute you're vibing, the next you're dodging a human traffic jam like it's bumper cars. But the real main event? Colleen. First floor. Absolute legend. Watching her work was like witnessing a headliner performance before the headliner. She wasn't bartending--she was conducting a symphony of pure mayhem. Drinks flying out of her hands like fireworks, orders remembered with supernatural precision, cracking jokes, keeping the energy electric--it was like if a ringmaster, a magician, and a quarterback all fused into one person behind the bar. I showed up stone-cold sober. Like, "responsible adult grabbing a pre-show drink" sober. What happened next was less of a night out and more of a controlled demolition. Somewhere between Colleen's perfectly poured chaos and the multi-floor madness, time stopped making sense. I'm pretty sure I blacked out on one floor and woke up on another like I was fast-traveling in a video game. At one point I may have been part of the circus. Not watching it--part of it. By the time I left, "walking" was no longer an option. I exited the building in a full crawl, like I had just survived a natural disaster. Limbs questionable, dignity gone, spirit intact. 10/10. No notes. Would absolutely risk it all again.

Jake n JOES was perfect to host this at because it is a New England sports bar with plenty of TVs, a perfect game day menu, and a lively atmosphere to enjoy a game with sports decor surrounding. I'm glad they had this Celtics collab. The event was fun, they had free merch at a table handed out by Celtics cheerleaders and Lucky the Leprechaun. We got there towards the end but scored some merch. We did wait for a table since it was a full house for this, but luckily we scored one with a TV in view. My friends and I got dinner, opted out of drinks this round. I got the chicken quesadilla with a side of spanish rice. The quesadilla was pretty good, but the rice was a little undercooked. They also charged extra for a side of sauce which has never happened before so that was a bummer. I wouldn't have got one if I'd known. Oh well. We then split the cookie sundae which was yummy. Cookie was undercooked and a little raw but it was okay. Still tasted okay, food is always good but nothing to write home about. I like it though. The atmosphere and the shared energy of Boston sports fans being able to come together and enjoy a game makes up for the food being above average. I'll still come back and enjoy a game here.
