I have been to the Yardhouse for drinks a couple of times. Was looking forward to trying their truffle fries. Service was slow, waitress never checked on us to fill our water glass during our long wait. Food was delivered by another waitress. Fries cold. Have to assume that food was sitting for a while. read more

The food we got was fine, unfortunately it wasn't we ordered. Eating in is never a problem but I've had issues with takeout. Repeatedly. The woman at the front desk taking our order was preoccupied. read more

Second time here and the second time the food has been later than quoted and poorer quality than should be possible - don't come here for takeout unless you want a cold burger because "the fries weren't done" read more

Onion tower is amazing! Bar staff very friendly but they don't like waiting to long for beer orders! Can get busy but it has pretty good food for decent prices! And huge beer selection! read more

Love the vegetarian and beer options. They have messed up our order a few times, but are always great about correcting it

We eat here every year that we visit Dedham. The cheddar burger is at the top of my burger list. Juicy and flavorful. You won't be disappointed. The fries are yummy also. read more

This place used to be great but has gone downhill recently. Bad service, bad music and even the food is bad now. How hard is it to cook a burger? I wished it wasn't so but Yardhouse @ legacy is over. Might give the fenway location a try. read more

Came here after work on a Friday night at 6:00 and the place was jamming. I had not been to Legacy Place previously and picked this place due to the reviews and menu. The wait for 2 for dinner was about 30 minutes. Ordered a drink at the bar beforehand which was tough considering the bar was jam packed...I really didn't think it would be so busy so early. The place is loud which can be good or bad, in our case we did not mind. Once we got to our table it took a little bit for someone to come by but once he did he was attentive. Ordered the sea bass and my girlfriend ordered the salmon...the portions were decent (although the prices are not cheap). Overall we had a good night and would return for that delicious sea bass since it is not something you can find at many restaurants! read more

Waitress was horrible and rude! Avoided tending to our table. We ordered appetizers and main course meals. My friend's burger was over cooked with a cold bun. My vegetarian gardein meal was over cooked. Overall I was so disappointed by my experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I came here with a friend on 9/28/2016 for dinner. I have an autoimmune disease and cannot eat gluten, which always makes dining out a little tricky. I told the waitress about my issue and she immediately went to the back to check if they could make the entree I wanted gluten-free. I was surprised when the manager came over, not only assure me that the dish would be completely gluten free, but to explain to me how they were going to cook certain foods to ensure no cross-contamination. I can't explain how much I appreciate the extra effort put in by the staff/cooks to make my dining experience worry-free.Not to mention, the food was delicious! I will be back for sure read more

Had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was delicious! The onion rings and their bone in wings are also delicious. Tons of alcoholic beverages and beer on tap to choose from. Generally a long wait on weekends. Waiters were pretty friendly and accommodating. read more

I agree with the general tone of the reviews thus far: Great selection of beer. I tried several and they were all fresh. Our server was also helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. However... quite expensive, and the lack of pricing on the menu is very frustrating. It may not be the case, but it really does feel like a deliberate, manipulative strategy. Furthermore, I asked for a small taste of a beer, and was VERY surprised to see a charge for it on our bill. In almost every brewpub/ale house I've been too, the establishment encourages small sampling, and provides those small samples free in order to encourage customers to branch out. I understand charging for their "six-pack" sampler (six slightly larger tastes, arranged in a flight), but my party spent about $75, so it seemed a little cheesy to charge for a half-ounce taste. We enjoyed the food, but I agree that it is fairly expensive. read more

Half price happy hour apps plus an amazing tap beer selection equals bliss. Above average pub fare and great service. We went on the earlier end and were seated right away. We weren't rushed, and were treated quite well. I recommend the Watermelon Wheat beer and the ahi tuna appetizer. We'll definitely be back. read more

This place was a nice treat yourself to a nice day out..We went at 4pm, sat on the patio, 1 beer wait for a patio seat, inside was wide open,we were not rushed though our meal, by the time we left the place was packed..SO GO EARLY TO FULLY ENJOY YOURSELF, My husband luvs his beer and enjoyed many different flavors. The bill came to $150 including tip for 5 people who all drank beers, a meal, and we had an app. So $30 a person seemed like an average night out for us. I would def go back in the afternoon again. Great patio to people watch. read more

I love this chain ever since my first experience on the west coast. Both CA and HI locations. I've been waiting for them to make it out east. Went last Friday night. Yes the wait was long, but I have been waiting over 6 years for one to open up here. The food is COMFORT FOOD. The beer flows plentiful. For all those who have given the food a so so review, give this new location a chance to get familiar with the HUGE menu. And the Staff needs time to learn the beers too. If you have have a chance to visit an established location, you won't be dissappointed. My suggestions: Nachos appetizer, Parmesan encrusted Chicken or any of the HOUSE SPECIALTIES! Not cheap, but you'll have plenty to take home for lunch the next day. read more

Great atmosphere. We were near the window and when the sun started setting a shade came down so there was no glare. Perfect service. Great place to go before or after movies. read more

Excellent food. Excellent beer selection. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the Boston area. The only complaint I have about The Yard House is how crowded it always is. That is not a bad problem to have, but if you want to have dinner there, be prepared to wait for a bit. read more

Talk about OVERPRICED??? This place is extremely overpriced! $8 for a draft beer?? Give me a break. This place was more like a extremely loud sports bar. The food was very so so, but not worth the price. Many other restaurants in Legacy Place with equally good beers at half the price. Do not go around dinner time as this place does get crowded and you cannot even hold a conversation with someone next to you without having to yell. Not sure what their liquor policy is but there appeared to many drunk patrons pushing and shoving. We left before a fight broke out. We will NOT be back. read more

Well, I have nothing but good things to say about the Yardhouse in Dedham! Me and my husband took our two children there Saturday night and of course, it was Super Busy! We ended up having to wait 40 minutes.. luckily for us, we could go check out some of the local shops while we waited. After that, we got the best table in the house for a family of four and they gave the kids a great little booklet to work on while we ordered. Our waitress was FABULOUS.. service was impeccable..so fast, so kind.. just great peeps overall!! We would be happy to wait another 40 minutes to get such great service! Food (and drinks) were fab as well!! If you get a chance, I HIGHLY recommend Yardhouse at Legacy Place!! Job well done!!! These people know how to run a business!!! read more

I really like the menu and the beer selection is great but the service, especially at the bar is lacking

My husband loves it here bc of the extensive beer collection- its always fun to try something new. The walnut pear salad is fabulous!! I am a fan of their burgers as well- they've always been cooked to perfection. The ONLY downside is the 2 hour wait to get a table!! read more

Definitely a clean place. including the restrooms! The food is always good. There is a never-ending variety of beers to select from, but they also have some fun seasonal mixed drinks. Not really a place for kids - very loud and lousy acoustics. read more

It's an okay place, great for the alcohol and meeting up with friends, but not exactly accommodating for gluten free. Basically, the gluten free menu is just the normal menu minus the main items of the dishes: i.e. the spinach dip with pita minus the pita (oh, yeah, we can throw in some carrots and celery for you). The food is decent, servers were really helpful and attentive. Just not great if you want a full meal and you have food allergies. read more

The beer selection is fantastic! The rogue hazelnut brown ale is my favorite but please don't go in and order a bud..it's an insult! The part that sucks is the wait is always too long. I find myself standing by the bar (bartenders are great) and having a liquid dinner rather than waiting. The down side of the liquid dinner is that I fall asleep at the movie theater. Money saved on dinner = Money lost on movie. read more

Went here again last night. My boyfriend and I have been here twice and once to the Fenway location. I MUCH prefer this one in Dedham. The staff is more friendly & the crowd is less of the annoying frat boy variety that pours into the Fenway one before & after games. I wish I could remember our server's name, because he was GREAT! I'm a waitress and I always appreciate good service. He was right on top of drinks and spacing our courses out, and everything came out perfectly. My boyfriend is obsessed with the grilled artichoke, we always get some edamame & the onion rings have to be top of my list as far as apps go. They also change the menu up quite a bit which is nice. He had the porcini crusted halibut last night and it was soo good (and I don't even like mushrooms). I had the gorgonzola & pear flatbread and a salad, both of which were delicious. The wait here can get out of control, so call ahead and when it's nice out, try to get an outside table, so worth it! read more

So many different beers for my husband to try and yummy cocktails for me! The burgers are outstanding and so is the turkey cobb which I can't seem to stop ordering. I look forward to returning again soon. read more

Hamburger tasted like rubber; server was aloof and rude! I will not go back.

Great food, endless selection of beer and drinks, and excellent service. Can't say enough about how well this place is managed. Large crowds even at off peak hours speak to that. Be prepared for a lengthy wait Fridays and Saturdays, but it's worth it. read more

A fun place to have drinks with friends if you don't mind crowds and noise. But a great beer selection.

Went there for the first time yesterday with a few friends who are regulars. I had very high expectations based on what they had described. The ambience was great and we had to wait about 30 mins for the table (not too bad!). The bar was awesome with a lot of variety of beers on tap (hubby's heaven!!) and mojitos were amazing! The appetizers were great as well. It all went downhill around dinner as the food was super salty and over fried!! But the manager was super nice and got the meals made again (much better). She also comp'ed us for the appetizers. But after waiting for 30 mins our hunger had pretty much died :) Overall I would certainly come back for drinks and apps! Not too sure about dinner. read more

Best service I have ever experienced at a bar/restaurant. Bartenders are very knowlegeble and on top of thier game. It was sat night and packed took no longer than 2 minutes to get a drink each time. These guys know how to run a restauarnt. read more

Food is good, a bit pricy, and noisy. Overall the experience is ok. I highly recommend making a reservation. It is nearly impossible to get in right when you want. The place is busy. read more

The service at this restaurant is atrocious. After being sat down it took 20 minutes for someone to come over. We ordered drinks, took 30 minutes. I noticed the place was maybe at 30% capacity. When I asked are waitress in a polite way why the wait was so long. She told me "We're really busy today baby". Baby? what way is that to address a customer, let alone the fact that im sitting across from my girlfriend. I used to be a regular here and come quite often, after waiting 50 minutes to get a beer at a non busy time, I will think long and hard before coming back. read more

Love the half price appetizers before 6! We had the chicken nachos (delicious, fresh, and big portion), the chicken lettuce wraps and a delicious ahi tuna app. Good drinks too! read more

I arrived at 6:30 to meet my family. I was told a 1 hour and 15 minbute wait. At 8:30 we finally say andd by 10:00 we still had no food. Our manager was nice and the service was ok once we sat. Jarad, another floor manager came over with no solicitation from us. He asked if everything was ok and I said, "well I wasn't going to say anythig but now that you have brought it up, we have been here sincce 6:30 and still have not received our food and it is after 10:00." He grew rude and defensive and said, "You knew it was a 1 hour wait when you got here and steak takes a long time to cook." I tried to calm him down (Not my job), and told him that I was just answering his queston. The other manager came over and apologized and gave us a round of drinks and desert. We liked the food but will NOT be going back with so many other options out there! read more

As many people have said on here yard house is not for the food! They have a great selection for beer but the food is nothing special! Some of our friends really wanted to go here on a Saturday night so my boyfriend and I agreed (knowing the wait would be ridiculous!) the wait was an hour but we probably waited close to 2... After 2 hours the service was average and my food was not tasty... place is definitely not worth a 2 hour wait.... read more

This place was pretty crowded when we went. We ended up waiting a bit longer than the predicted time, but the host apologized when we were seated. The beer list is pretty extensive and you can get pretty much anything you're looking for. The food is pretty basic, nothing over the top. The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful. read more

I have been to this location enough to say you can expect a frustrating experience every time. This is a beer joint. Period. The service is pretty slow and not very attentive. Food takes roughly 25 minutes no matter what you get and it's a 50/50 chance it's hot. Some bartenders are less friendly than others which always confuses me when customers are treated like intruders. There are other much better restaurants in the complex if you are looking for anything above and beyond beer, but let's be honest no one goes somewhere to try 1,400 different beers. Skip it. For some reason the wait for dinner time is always 30-45 minutes minimum because people can't get past the hype. read more

First time here in a few weeks (yes weeks) but the first time here that I can honestly say, everything was GREAT. Busy Saturday night, but got a seat at the bar. Ordered apps, dinners, a single beer and a flight. LOVED the traditional flight and my friend loved her belgian flight. Food was great, beers were great, vibe was great, but best of all, our SERVICE was great. Danielle was the best bartender my friend and I have experienced in a long time. Witty, pleasant, knowledgeable, NORMAL, always there, yet not annoying. The kind of girl you'd want to hang out with. THANK YOU, Danielle, you made our experience. Signed, "the lesbians" :) AWESOME place for a beer and decent food, if you can handle a crowd and a potentially a wait. Sometimes hit or miss, depending on service, but tonight a total HIT. read more

Yard House in Dedham SUCKS! Our server sucked big time! Barely came around!!! There was 6 of us and we went on Sat 3/7 and I believe we sat at table 52 (I think that's what the hostess said). There was a booth but they gave that to a party of 4! Wtf?!?! We ordered apps... Cauliflower app, clam chowders, lobster and artichoke dip and sweet potato fries! Cauliflower app had a sticker tag still on it! Did they wash the cauliflowers before preparing it? Clam chowder was cold and had a hair in it! Artichoke dip wasn't creamy! It was chewy and thick!?!?! Sweet potato fries was good however it was cold! Seemed like it sat in the kitchen for awhile!!! For dinner, we ordered a bacon cheeseburger but they didn't add bacon!!! Again wtf?!?! It was supposed to be medium well but came out medium rare and bloody! I ordered the jambalaya with no crawfish and asked for extra shrimp (would have paid for the extra shrimp) but they only gave me ONE shrimp! WTF?!?! My friend ordered tacos and had one bite because she wasn't feeling too well. Her plan was to wrap her meal up and take it to go. While she was in the bathroom, our waitress who didn't listen to us (we told her to please leave our friends dish) took our friend's food and dumped it! When our waitress came back, we asked her what happened to our friend's food and she didn't say anything. No apology... Just a blank look!!! We asked for a manager and Megan was very apologetic and comped our dinner. The waitress was LUCKY we still gave her a $30 tip!!! She didn't deserve a dime! Our other friends ordered salad and that was fine. How could you mess up on salads right??? read more
