Fiance and I tried this place since we were in the Dublin area after hanging with friends; and it did not disappoint! Honestly I don't know how the Chipotle next door even stays in business because this place is super good. The two of us split a small lentil soup, a build your own bowl (hummus base, gyro meat, sides of rice and babaganoush), and a chicken shawarma burrito. Pros: - everything felt covid-safe for takeout - all staff were wearing gloves and masks, they had hand sanitizer available, people stood socially distanced for the most part. There were some tables inside that people sat at while they waited for food that aren't cleaned, but sit at your own risk. - EXCELLENT FOOD - the chicken shawarma was a bit on the spicy side for me but it was still delicious, the lentil soup was exactly how I felt like it should taste, and the gyro bowl was great! Hummus and babaganoush were both EXCELLENT - and fiance's shawarma came with 2 pitas so it was great to dip in hummus, and to put the dips on the burrito too (honestly date someone just so you can share food, right?) - Excellent portions, you get what you pay for - I brought leftovers from the bowl to work the next day for lunch and added my own rice to the leftovers - it held up great and was still amazing the next day at work. - Outdoor seating available right outside, you can bleed into the Chipotle tables if needed. - Easy parking in the lot - Pretty quick service, I think our food was ready in 5-10 mins - Menu is pretty self-explanatory, easy to follow Cons: - None that I can really think of. 10/10 would come back here, it was tasty. read more

I have eaten here a few times now so I feel this is a pretty legit 5 stars I'm giving. I have tried the Back Home Style chicken shawarma roll up. It is different but has a wonderful garlic sauce that comes with it. They flat top grill it so it has a good crunch to it. My usual is a Gyro Pita. The gyro meat is so good. The pita is filled to the max. Ask for the pickles. They are amazing. Also, if you like a kick, get it "spicy". Even you like it hot, get it "extra spicy"! Today, I had a bowl. I wanted more meat than pita. I got half and half meat and I added spicy humus and Dolmas. It comes with a side of sauce (I chose Tazikis) and a pita. It was so delicious. I love how friendly the service is and how quick the food orders come out. If you are looking for some quick Mediterranean food that also tastes good, stop by and enjoy your meal outside. I was invited to try this place and it did not disappoint. Since it was for an event we got to try everything on the menu and I truly enjoyed all the dishes. Mediterranean food has flavor that I prefer in food while also being relatively healthy. The owner and staff were so gracious it reminded me of eating at someone's home. I have been dinning and getting takeouts from Yafa Hummus about once a month for the past 2 years: my food was consistently delicious, and customer service always polite and quick to respond. So, I know i can rely on Yafa Hummus for my "Mediterranean cravings". Today was no different. I stopped by to get takeouts for my boys and me: Gyro bowl with spicy hummus, falafel bowl with spicy hummus and Gyro pita with side of fries. Everything tested really good, but I have to give a shout for their falafels: it freshly prepared and it crunchy on outside, beautiful consistency on inside ( fried to perfection), also falafel mix contains a lot of greens-- the best combination for the mix. Amazingly good food! I am kind of picky about my falafel. I don't like it too hard, too dry, or too greasy. The falafel here was moist on the inside and perfectly fried on the outside. It's the best falafel I've found in the area. The hummus is divine, it's smooth and delicious. The dolma was good especially when I dipped it into the vegan tahini sauce. The kale salad was just OK. This is probably the best hummus of ever tasted in my entire hummus eating life. The Shawarma was OK nothing to write negative about but it did not impress me as much as the humus. It is creamy smooth texture, with just the perfect amount of acidity. My wife had picked the ball which was nice and with plenty of the options. I went for a Shawarma wrap. While picking up the food I noticed some people had ordered the back home Shawarma wrap item and it looked really good but I did not taste it. Tiniest chicken shawarma wrap I've ever had. Rip off for the price. $12. I've had chicken shawarmas in multiple countries and multiple places around the bay and came here for the first time expecting a normal sized wrap. Ordered two and walked away, looked in the container and realized they must've only given one order cause it was so tiny. They confirmed it was two orders. Was so surprised and felt ripped off. Also noticed they shove the rest of wrapper into a pocket at the bottom of the wrap making it even smaller, deceiving. (See pictures) Seemed more like a snack wrap and would pay $7 for it. This place has a lot of issues with food 1. Baba Ghanoush was bad and slimy 2. Pitas were not fresh and soft 3. Falafels have no taste 4. Everything is shiny and new, it's very clean, and the employees are very nice. The real reason for my visit was try them out to make sure it was good before I placed a catering order for work for 80+ people. They did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Falafel Wrap: This was the best falafel I've had in this area. It was cooked perfectly, not over-cooked and hard like some other places in the area. Chicken Shawarma Wrap: The chicken was perfectly seasoned and not dry at all. All ingredients were fresh. Needless to say, I called back later that day to place my large catering order. This is the closest back home shawarma I ever had in Bay Area. It has right ingredients and right amount of meat to meet my expectation. We tried all 3 variety of shawarma wraps and each one was better than one another Falafel, pita bread and salads were all nice Hammus was little spicy but may be adjusted with our request I guess Service was excellent and wait time was less. We ordered two chicken shawarmas, a small size babaganoush, one side of falafels, and side of fries. I am giving them one star because the place was clean and the fries was very tasty. However, the chicken shawarms are not made from lavash bread, instead they are made with large size tortillas and very tasteless. It's like having a burrito with shawarma meat. I was very disappointed. The babaganoush was bitter and I had to purchase two pita breads separately. I ended up throwing out the babaganoush. This is the only place that I saw that serves babaganoush without rice or bread. They are extremely stingy because they will give you 2 ketchups at a time, even though we had a side of fries.
