This place is really really good, really good. I'm supposed to be retired from Yelp reviewing, but I feel like keeping this place a secret would be wrong of me so here you go. PROS: Maybe the best hummus ever. Fantastic falafels. Great customer service, in particular Evan and Waleed (and I think Paris is another young man's name) really go out of their way make the trip worthwhile. Everything I've had is great, which makes narrowing down to a "favorite" difficult. But get the baklava ice cream. However, the place isn't perfect. CONS: They close at 9pm. Weeeak. This place should be open until midnight. The closest location to me is in Dublin, which makes it a very long drive for me. Worth it? Yes. They makes their meats, sauces, and desserts from scratch. And they don't skimp (ehh, maybe a little more salad mix on the Greek salad base, if I'm being completely honest). I order extra meat for my salad, and today, they outdid themselves with my to-go order. What I ordered, they generously supplied, and then threw in some extra chicken. Sooo bummed! I was super excited to go back after my first time!! The food was amazing. And I had a 2 for 1 coupon. Since the cases of covid are rising again I don't eat out often again so ANYWAY...I came in was looking at the menu. Best customer service ever.Evan was a cashier and he made some great suggestions for my order. He was so friendly and hyped up the food and it was delicious. But only thing I didn't like was the baklava. I really like how you can pick out your base which could include a salad or rice I mean there's so much variety in my bowl. If I come back to Dublin- I will definitely come back. Also the staff was going to help me find my phone which I just happen to drop in a big puddle . I recall when Yafa Hummus came to this location. And I figured this might just be another Shwarma place...another option in the long and varied list of establishments popping up in the Tri-valley. However, friends took me here and I was pleased. The specialty here, front and center is the hummus. It comes in a wide variety and definitely is the star of the show here. Like many of the other establishments, you can make a bowl or a plate, however, I decided to make a bowl featuring hummus. I was not disappointed nor was I left hungry. Portions here are ample and the quality is good. And I'm very pleased with the selections here as they are varied and delicious. And the baklava choices are much better than their competitors. We've been here twice and the second time it looks like the containers have changed, somewhat smaller portions. FYI - although the middle meat turner holds steak, steak is not listed on the menu, only falafel, chicken, and gyro meat. I really like the workers, they're all so polite and nice. Regardless of how friendly the staff is, the meat is overly dry. It would be nice if they shaved the meat straight off the roasting spit instead of pre-trimming the meat and then reheating it on the griddle, which really seems to dry out the meat. It's a shame to not order meat when you see these beautiful meat spits when you walk in, but considering how dry the meat has been both times, I may only order falafel in the future. Pitas are good, kale slaw is good, hummus is a bit salty but delicious, meat... a bit overdone and disappointing. read more

This place fell into the same category like a few other "mediterranean" eateries I've been to...For some reason they lack flavor. And, I wanted to like this place. We ordered a chicken wrap and gyro. The size for both was the first shock. The wrap was small for $10 and was just ok. Nothing to write home about. The gyro had some meat on it and tomatoes with a little bit of sauce. It felt like it was missing something. Again, there was flavor, but it didn't jump out at you at all. Overall, the meal was ho-hum. A high point was that the staff was friendly and our food was ready before we knew it. My opinion, Prices are too expensive for what you get. This place made me long for Yalla. read more

The owner hails from Jordan and brings a taste of the Middle East in this fast-casual restaurant. The customizable bowls came with a choice of base, protein, and sides--I got the kale slaw, made of lightly dressed kale, red cabbage, and carrots, along with the gyro, falafel, classic hummus, and mixed beans (a seasoned mixture of kidney beans, black beans, corn, and onion). All of this came with pita bread on the side, along with a selection of sauces, and I tried the chunky tzatziki and the spicy chili sauce! The standouts to me from the bowl were the hummus, which was nice and creamy without being too thick, and the falafel, which were freshly fried and crispy! Aside from the bowl, I also got the "Back Home Style" wrap, made of lavash bread filled with chicken shawarma, garlic sauce, and pickles. Another local business in the area that caught my eye of late and their bogo coupon finally convinced me to stop by and try it out and to help out another local business during Covid. Upon entering, it's a very nice and clean eating spot and pretty bright too in a good way! My cashier and food maker was very friendly and prompt in taking my order and making my food. Since this a new place, I opted to order their chicken shawarma and beef gyro just to see how the food was. Both offerings were very good overall imo in taste and value. The proportion was actually pretty good too and for the gyro I asked for it to be spicy and while I did feel a tingle, it wasn't that hot to me so spice lovers you might have to maybe ask for alittle more or a little dipping cup maybe. I was sort of surprised not to see fries being offered or like a meal deal of sorts..but still the food itself was still pretty fulfilling to me. It's been a while since I've dined anywhere new considering we're in the middle of a pandemic but, Yafa Hummus opened up nearby my home and I decided to try them out. I'm picky about gyro meat and gyro sandwiches, I've tried many and they lacked in one way or another, but, the gyro pita sandwiches here are so good! Super fresh ingredients, they're not shy with the filling and the tzatziki here is amazing, in fact, all the sauces are. I've also tried the bowls here, I usually get half gyro and half shwarma with rice, Mediterranean salad and baba ghanoush. And omg... you have to try the baba ghanoush! It's my favorite side there, I've never had it and now go there just for that. Meats are prepared perfectly, bowls are huge, I usually save about half and the salad is fresh (super important, no one likes soggy salad and cucumbers, and ughh mushy tomatoes). The bowls come with pita for your baba ghanoush or hummus ( I steer clear of hummus due to its side effects, lol but the few times I've tasted it, I've liked it). I like that sauces are on the side and you can request all of them if you wanted, did I mention they're all amazing? Especially the chili, tahini, and tzatziki :) Service is super fast, and the staff has always been super friendly. This is now one of my go to spots for Mediterranean food! read more
