This is the third Sultan's Kebab location we have been to. It is our understanding that each Sultan's Kebab is owned by a different family member(?), and they certainly all have a little bit of differences in menu offerings and taste. We came for a weekend dinner. The decor and mood has definitely a modern feel and vibe. There is plenty of interior and outdoor patio dining. Service is typical of others. Pretty straightforward and nothing overly notable. Food arrived fairly quick. We ordered our usual, the Sultan's burger. This was probably the worst of all three locations we've been to. There was very little flavor and the fries were not crisped enough. We also chose two other unique dishes we have not seen before at the other locations. The Pide with half chicken and half ground lamb/beef is essentially a pizza. While the chicken meat was was moist and full of flavor, the ground lamb and beef was disappointing as it had a very herby taste to it that we did not like particularly. The Lahmacun was essentially a flatbread with similar ground lamb and beef. Again, this was not really to our liking. Given this food experience, we will definitely not return to this location and choose instead to go to our favorites elsewhere.

Great casual spot in downtown for mediterranean, park in the small attatched lot, on the street, or at the big lot a block away. Order at the front and they'll give you a number and bring your food out to wherever you've chosen to sit. Big portions, and always delicious. I usually get a schwarma plate and it comes with rice, salad, meat, and pita bread. Sit inside or in their covered patio. Great for groups of all sizes.

Under the same ownership of Sultan's Kebab and Falafel in Danville, I knew the food was going to be great! Located on the corner of 1st St & Maple in Livermore, there was ample parking on the side. This location is bigger and spacious than the Danville location, with a touch of Christmas lights for the holidays. Also has more offerings too. Ordered a combination plate, wrap, lamb casserole and a Chz & Pastirma Pide (flatbread pizza). For dessert, had Kunefe and a variety of Turkish Delights. Everything was made to order and food was fresh and delicious! The guys at behind the counter were very helpful in explaining some dishes, even suggest to delay the Kunefe it would served warm. What I also like about this place is that they have bottomless self-serve tea, which we took advantage of to command the cold weather. Highly Recommend if ever in the Livermore Area!

I LOVE coming to Sultan's Kebab! It's conveniently located across from the movie theater and in downtown. I always order the combo shish kebab plate with chicken and beef. It comes with a good amount of food and I always leave stuffed! The salad dressing is to die for. The meat is cooked and seasoned to perfection. The pita with hummus combo is elite. My FAVORITE item is always the rice. It's buttery and just always hits the spot. The ambiance and service are always lovely. Definitely always a happy camper when I go here! Can't recommend Sultan's enough!!!

This one was a big surprise ! We decided to go in after looking online for Turkish cuisine place and were very pleased ! The place is huge . We got the lachmajun (excellent and crispy ) and the pide (very nice portion and yummy) . I also got Turkish coffee which I very much enjoyed . They will be opening another location In Campbell and we will for sure visiting

I wanna start off by saying, I really don't like Thai, Indian, German, or Turkish food. HOWEVER, this food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and pleasant, and I highly enjoyed the ambiance with a mixture of music choices, from American to Turkish. My Turkish friend ordered the Iskender Kabab and allowed me to try some, and it was sooo good!! I ordered some Pita with Hummus and it's the best I've ever had. For dessert she ordered some Kunefe (very interesting dessert) and I had a cinnamon milk roll, and tried some dubai chocolate for the first time!! I will be taking my bf here in the future.

We came on a cold day so sat inside for the first time in a booth, and it was nice! Food was amazing, the portion sizes are always very generous and the lamb shank is SO GOOD when you just want some warm soupy meaty meal. The lamb meat literally falls off the bones. Service is good at the cash register.

Still a great experience every time we visit. I've been loving the chicken kabob plate lately: the chicken is tender, the rice has almonds, and the hummus is amazing!

I went here 3 different times, I live in San Jose so I make the drive out for the delicious food. I like the interior and the vibes, the service is great. The food is amazing, the kabobs were juicy and cooked perfectly, the salad is refreshing to cleanse your palate, and the rice and hummus just pairs so nicely with the kabobs. All the dishes on their menu are worth the try and I can't wait until they open their Campbell location.

Great spot for delicious Turkish/ Mediterranean food. I really enjoyed the shawarma salad, Lahmacun, and Turkish delight. Large outdoor seating space for eating outside on a warm evening. Easy parking in either in a parking lot, or on second street behind the restaurant. Efficient and rapid service. Great spot.

I've been coming here for years and I've always had a great experience with the place. This time I got the falafel plate and the chicken Shawarma plate. The plate has so much meat and it's a great value for the price. The inside eating area and outside eating area is very clean. The outside eating area also has heaters for those cold days. Service area, top knowledge and they help with questions you may have about the menu.

Review #874 Posted on 4.16.25 We came here after bowling for a bite on Saturday the 12th. This spot is on the corner of 1st Street right across the street from the movie theater. The place was packed, and this was around 10:40 pm. They have a ton of options to choose from. We ended up splitting the garlic fries and a chicken swarma. The garlic fries had this like orange colored dipping sauce, honestly I don't know what it was, but it was smacking. The swarma was fresh, and really tasty. There's tons of places to sit outdoors or inside. Outdoors was still warm enough, and had big tables together for bigger parties. They have hookah here too. We'll definitely come back for sure.

Very unassuming but darn good Mediterranean food. We shared a chicken salad and a lamb shawarma plate. The salad and humus was Incredible The meals are huge. We took home enough fur lunch the next day. I love the atmosphere and ambiance of this place.

This place (obviously) has great reviews so I decided to go. And it certainly meets the hype The staff was very friendly--I let them know it's my first time there so I needed a bit of time to look over the menu--and they were very helpful letting me know the options. I got the Friday I'm In Love and it was amazing. Great size, absolutely packed with meat, amazing flavor. This was a 10/10. The garlic spread was delicious, the slaw was seasoned very well, and everything was very fresh and flavorful. Dutch crunch also had great texture. My only possible complaint was that the meat wasn't very evenly distributed as you can see in the pic, but that's a very minor complaint. To reiterate, this was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Unfortunately I'm not very close to Livermore, but anytime I'm close by in the future, I absolutely want to stop by again. I highly, highly recommend this place for a sandwich!

What first seemed like just another stop near the outlets turned into a hidden culinary gem I can't believe I had missed all this time. I walked in curious, simply wanting to see what was new, but from the very first moment, I knew this place was different. The warm atmosphere, the inviting aroma of freshly prepared dishes, and the subtle hum of happy conversations created a space that felt both vibrant and comforting. The food? Absolutely memorable. Every dish tasted thoughtfully crafted, with fresh ingredients that spoke for themselves. You can taste the quality nothing feels rushed or ordinary. The flavors are rich yet balanced, authentic yet approachable. And the portions are generous, easily perfect for two people to share without feeling overwhelmed. What truly elevated the experience was the hospitality. Our host, Ali, welcomed me with such genuine warmth that I felt instantly at ease. We were started off with a huge round flatbread (which ironically was not lavash) paired with a tasty condiment made of chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and vinegar. A highlight dish for me was the Appetizer Combination Platter, which came with four dolmas topped with pomegranate dressing, creamy hummus, tabbouleh, and babaghanoush (grilled eggplant with caramelized onion), all of which went together nicely with the flatbread. From the entrees, the Lavash Plate for two came with a skewer each of filet mignon, chicken, and koubideh (ground beef), each of which was juicy and nicely grilled but tasted underseasoned. The platter also came with sumac onions, grilled tomato, and grilled peppers, along with sides of saffron rice and Greek salad. Next, the Pomegranate Chicken was a roasted chicken quarter in a sweet and tangy pomegranate sauce, served with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and carrots. The most unique part of this dish was the pomegranate sauce, which gave a nice caramelization and flavor to the tender chicken. Finally, the Ghormeh Sabzi was a stew of lean beef chunks in a mixture of chopped herbs (scallions, parsley, chives) and red kidney beans. The stew had a bitter flavor from the herbs and a slight sour flavor from dried lime, but overall, the dish was bland, underseasoned, and a bit of a let down. Overall, the food here was mixed--some dishes (the appetizer combo and pomegranate chicken) were tasty, while others (the kebabs and the ghormeh sabzi) were just underseasoned and underwhelming in flavor.
