Chopped cheese sub

Stopped in here 2 days in a row after reading Yelp reviews and trying the chopped cheese sub - fantastic! On my second visit the friendly owner gave me a lamb taco to try for free and it did not disappoint - very yummy! For fast, quality lunch food give this place a try. Order at the counter, watch them prepare your meal and eat in (tables in the back) or take it to go!

Fruity pebble pancakes

INCREDIBLE!!! Sal and his brother Mohammed are the best of the best. I've had everything on their menu and I have no complaints. It's the best ever my top favorites are the falafel chicken over rice, chopped cheese, their tacos anyway you get them insane and actually their pancakes for breakfast are absolute fire and yesterday he had these magnificent fruity pebbles pancakes?

A friend brought me to Ya Hala and wow! What a find! A family owned spot, located near St. Peter's, Ya Hala offers an expansive menu most notable for the famous NYC chopped cheeses! They have a great variety, I ended up ordering a chicken chopped cheese which I didn't even know what a thing. It was DELICIOUS! Flavor was 10/10. Their French fries are solid, nothing special but a good side for the sandwiches. Great service, fair pricing, and incredible food. Give this place a shot when you're in the area!

Best gyros and rice platters in town! Sal is so friendly and really puts his heart and soul into making your meal fresh off the grill. It gets busy around lunch so order ahead and be patient. It's a city deli type of vibe. Reminds me of being back in Queens! Definitely give em a try! Oh yeah, they have the chopped cheese here and it's official! Breakfast also!

This place is an immense addition to the areas lunch scene! I was a huge fan of the Greek restaurants that were here in years past, Anton's and Nikos, and since they closed there hasn't been a place to get a halfway decent gyro. Ya Halal brings a fantastic NYC style restaurant where they can seemingly make whatever fantastic combination of foods you want. I ordered a variety of food to try and everything was excellent. I ordered a classic gyro with tzatziki and tomatoes and it is EASILY, the best gyro in the area. Amazing sauce, crispy homemade gyro meat that was perfectly seasoned and other fresh ingredients. Going full on NYC I tried the chopped cheese which was straight out of the Big Apple. Everything melted together, LTO, grilled peppers cheese and sauces cooked to order right in front of you. The owner let me try their chicken gyro and grilled pastrami. If I'm being honest, the chicken gyro may have been my favorite thing of all. The owner and staff were all super friendly and really just want to provide each customer with exactly what they want and fully customize every meal. Give this place a shot and make sure to grab extra napkins you'll need them!

BEST.DIVE.IN.AREA!…read more Local resident here. I remember when it was under it's former name, "Everydays". Please do not let the internal appearance fool you. The customers and staff are welcoming. There is outdoor seating for warmer months. Lets talk about burgers. To.die.for. Burgers are huge, the bun is monogrammed. They can customize any way you wish. And tasty!!! Splurge on the fries with (beef) gravy and plentiful. We have also ordered wings as an appetizer - crispy, tasty with just enough sauce. Mild is VERY mild ( not complaining! ) Your feet will stick to the floor and the food will stick to your ribs. Local or Visitor - please patron and enjoy great food at reasonable price.

The atmosphere is worn and dingy but the warmth and welcoming of the people are well worth the visit. We have driven by this place so many times while visiting Albany and thought no way I would go in there but we were looking for lunch and the reviews were so great we had to try them and I'm glad we did. We had the cheese Quesadilla and Mexican fries. Both were excellent. I really want to try the build a burger but unfortunately today is our last day in town . I would highly recommend a visit because of the warmth and food. Don't let the outside scare you.

This place came up with great reviews, albeit only a couple so far, and we decided to check it out. We drove to the location, which had limited street parking, but we were able to find a spot using my parallel parking skills, then we headed inside. It was a small place, with 2 tables that each sat 4. The TV was on, and we chatted with the guy on the counter who shared a menu with us. In the end we settled for a traditional cheese and pepperoni pizza. No one was using the tables, and we decided to eat in rather than head back to our hotel. We chatted and waited for our pizza, which was done quick and was delicious! Everything you could want from a thin new york style pizza. Good amount of cheese, charred pepperoni, not overcooked or burnt, the crust was soft and delicious. The service was awesome. Every worker we spoke to was nice and personable, without being annoying, over the top or in the way. We were offered silverware and plates, and enjoyed our pizza, before needing a box despite it being so good. I would definitely consider heading back here the next time i'm in Albany, great food AND great service at a reasonable price, what more could you want?

We ordered two beers, including Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, which she said comes with or without maraschino cherries. Of course I had to try it with cherries and it was great! For lunch, my boyfriend and I ordered the Cheesesteak with peppers and Chipotle mayo. You can customize it to your liking by choosing two toppings and a sauce on it, which was awesome. I ordered the quesadilla with pulled pork. Both arrived piping hot and were fantastic! Both dishes had tons of meat on them and tasted great. We're looking forward to returning for dinner as well as breakfast, which they just launched. Highly recommend this gem in Cohoes!

To explain, the ribs were excellent. They were tender, flavorful, and had a ton of meat on the bones. In similar fashion, the brisket was pretty tasty. To breakdown, the brisket had nice flavor with a good amount of fat around the edges. However, the middle of the brisket was a bit overcooked. It was still enjoyable though. After that, I tried the fried pickles which were delicious. The pickles were crispy with a savory and salty taste. These were simply great fried pickles. As a final point, Signal 30 is a really good BBQ restaurant and I highly recommend the ribs and fried pickles.
