    Chicken Doner Wrap

Good food, nice chef. Hole-in-the-wall place, but clean and pleasant. Go for the food, not the ambiance. Recommend for a quick inexpensive lunch!

New venue in town. Where once we had no choices, we now have three! SO and I decided to give our newest addition on an evening I didn't feel like cooking. Menu has a lot to offer that is fresh and delicious. You choose the base, the protein and then what you'd like to top your dish. You can get a plate with rice or a wrap stuffed with your choices. I had selected a pita wrap with chucks of marinated chicken. Veggies and white (tzatziki sauce) completed my sandwich. SO got a platter with basically similar add-ons but had gyro meats. Staff were very quick to create the meals. Parking is adequate. My only beef is the lighting. While I like seeing my food, lights were very bright. Will keep this in our rotation.

Very reasonable prices, fresh ingredients, and large portions. The gentleman working was very friendly and helpful.

Shawarma Wrap with Chicken. (I couldn't resist myself and took a bite before this picture)

This place deserves more attention! The service, food, and presentation was excellent. I bought a shawarma wrap and it was delicious. I picked the vegetable toppings, meat, and sauce, and all of them combined were immaculate! I personally believe the shawarma here is more healthy and whole than the shawarma at other places. At other places the shawarma is too salty and oily, here at Marash Grill they properly cook the meat and combine mouthwatering sauces and vegetables. I 100% recommend trying out this place!

Great food and service. Went with two other friends at 9pm on a Tuesday night and were quickly served. We ordered three bowls, one with falafel, and they said it would be a few minutes since they make the falafel on the spot in the back. Food was flavorful and large portions for $11 each. Beats Chipotle, this is my new favorite Greek/Middle Eastern spot! The inside was clean and felt like a great place to dine - we would have stayed to eat inside if it was not so late in the evening. The owner even gave us a free extra portion of Tzatziki for us to try. 10/10 will be coming back very soon.

Their build-your-own menu was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. We loved the hummus, tzatziki, and grilled chicken.

Traveling within about 5 minutes on the way to visit a good friend, and it happened to be right around lunch time, the opportunity finally came. It's a casual place, lots of 2 and 4 top tables, but what caught my eye when we went in was the cooler full of amazing side options. Then you look up and there's a beautiful oven and a dough station. This is looking great. We sat and ordered lamb kebab and doner kebab. A couple minutes later, a large (~11x17?) wooden tray appeared with a piping hot lavash bread and a plate of dill yogurt sauce. If the meal had stopped there, I would have been a happy camper. We had just had a few pieces when the kebab arrived, each with a pepper, tomato, some red cabbage, and onion. Both meats were authentic and delicious. My favorite way to eat my doner was with a bit of the bread, a bit of the dill sauce, some onion and cabbage, and a bunch of meat - a mini gyro, if you will. We took away about 1/3 of the generous portions and ordered a large mixed plate (all 10 of the sides) and baklava to take to our friend. It's a bit of a drive for us, but any time we're anywhere close, we're going to be back for sit down (if it's mealtime) or takeaway if it's not. I highly recommend you do the same.

The place feels much more modern and inviting now. Our family especially enjoys the beyti kebab, the güveç, and their pide. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but since their pide is very good, I imagine the pizza would also be solid. For me though, the real highlight at Alibaba is the mezze. In Turkish cuisine, grilled meats and kebabs are almost always enjoyed with a variety of mezze. They might technically be sides, but they're a big part of the whole experience. These days there are several Turkish kebab places in the area, but none of them offer a wide selection of fresh, house-made mezze like Alibaba does. At many places you're lucky if you find one or two options, often just a basic ezme. At Alibaba you'll find around ten different mezze and each one tastes distinct and freshly made. Every time I tell myself I'll just take a little... and somehow I end up filling a big mezze plate. Honestly, even when we grill at home, our motivation is picking up mezze from Alibaba to go with it. I'm not sure if it gets the credit it deserves, but don't skip the mezze here -- you'd be missing out. In fact, start with the mezze and figure out the rest later :))

All of their proteins have enough distinct flavor that they actually taste different and there is enough topping variety to keep it interesting from one visit to the next. Simone's isn't generic bowl slop nor questionable quality Chipotle. Meatballs, beets, and spicy tahini would be some of my recommended favorites. My family can't wait for the Glenmont store to open!

Mediterranean food done fast, fresh, and with plenty of options. The best part is the customization. Tons of fresh toppings, flavorful proteins, and some excellent dips and sauces that let you build exactly what you're craving. Everything looked fresh and the ingredients tasted like they were prepared with care. Service was friendly and efficient. The line moved quickly, orders were put together correctly, and it was easy to get in and out without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is casual and clean, making it a great option for lunch, a quick dinner, or a healthy alternative to traditional fast food. The only downside is the price. It's a little more expensive than some of the fast-casual chains, but the quality and freshness help justify the cost. Pizza Beast Score: 4/5 "Fresh ingredients, great Mediterranean flavors, excellent dips, and quick service. A little pricey, but the quality makes it worth the stop."
