Lamb shish over rice
Amalex B.

Great food would definitely recommend Pretty good customer service upfront made in a timely fashion greatly seasoned had it two days in a row

Lahmajoun

This is my second time eating there and the food was delicious again! Had the lahmajoon last time, and grilled lamb sheesh this time. Both are repeats. It's great that they also cater to less adventurous palates with a variety of pizza choices. I love the location, near Trader Joe's which I always visit when I'm in town. The service is very friendly. I ate outdoors, and they brought the food out to the table.

Misleading. It's a pizza place. Not a middle eastern restaurant. False advertising. Shame. We were excited

Sausage links actually snap when you cut them. Rye toast perfectly buttered. Exactly what you would expect from diner coffee that Starbucks or Dunkin's or Tim Horton's would die for. Can't miss. There are standard breakfast and lunch items for the office workers, but of course we went straight for the Egyptian dishes. Had the Koshari which is "the national dish of Egypt" (the very friendly proprietors kept reminding me that the food was better "because we are Egyptian" and I am not going to argue) and the sampler platter. Koshari is kind of an elevated garbage plate, lots of good things mixed together, heavy on the carbs with a spicy tomato sauce, a meal by itself. The sampler plate delivers a huge amount of food for currently $12. Everything has a little something extra that makes it special; the falafel is flavored with onion and herbs and is perfectly fried to a crisp shell with a moist interior; the stuff grape leaves are steamed before serving and have some minty accents; even the pitas get brushed with oil and spices, toasted and cut into bite size pieces before they are tucked away in the container. There is a lunch room for the office workers across the hall if you care to eat in while the food is piping hot, but it nicely survived my drive back to Saratoga. Come here during the limited hours (they're only open during breakfast and lunch on business days) and prepare for a treat.

The place was redone with a cozy dining room and the order counter towards the back. You order and pay at the counter first, then take a seat and your food is brought out to you. The menu offerings include kabobs, salad bowls, sandwiches, Persian side dishes, daily special entrees and cooler drinks (Pepsi products). The pricing is moderate, most $12-$22. I stopped by Neda for dinner recently. At the counter, I ordered the Kofteh ($16 plus tax) served with rice and salad, which happened to be a daily special offering. Be aware that they will add a 3 percent credit card surcharge on top of the total (including tax and tip) and they really should post signage at the register about the surcharge. Anyways, I took a seat in the dining area and my food was brought out to me all at once with special sauces including their spicy sauce (green). The Kofteh was comprised of 3 tender beef meatballs (grainy texture) smothered in a savory orange sauce with yellow split peas, topped with potato sticks. The side of rice was a good portion filling up much of the square plate. The side salad had chopped romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes. red onions, and seasonings. After I was done, I was able to head out quickly and on my way.

All of their proteins have enough distinct flavor that they actually taste different and there is enough topping variety to keep it interesting from one visit to the next. There's a good variety of stores as well as places for a quick bite all in one area. Did I mention lotsa parking? Now about Simone's Kitchen before I get side tracked.... At lunchtime it was super busy but very organized. The staff here appear good under pressure and the service is top notch. As I placed my order, the individuals behind the counter were friendly as well as attentive and very helpful. I can be picky, and always ask for extra greens whenever possible. I also like a generous amount of hummus and tahini when I get a Mediterranean bowl. Their chicken shawarma bowl, Greek meatball bowl and create your own bowl were all outstanding. You pretty much have the option of customizing just about anything you order, and they are happy to do it for you. The cleanliness factor here does not go unnoticed and I appreciate seeing the fresh produce and prepping and chopping that happens in front of you. There's also a good amount of drinks and pastries which I will try on my next visit. Their menu has endless possibilities and I will work my way through it haha. I almost forgot to mention how refreshing their iced cardamom tea was, wow! The food freshness here was big for me. I love it when I find a place that is tasty and healthful so I can go often and be guilt free. I will be back soon, probably next week!

We all ordered grilled chicken BYO wraps, and they were so good that even my picky son wanted a second one. The toppings were fresh with a great variety. The white sauce was delicious, and the hot sauce wasn't too spicy--something everyone can enjoy. The place is much bigger inside than it looks and feels very clean and spacious. There used to be a pizza place here that didn't feel very clean, but now it's completely different--you can tell a lot of effort went into the renovation. Overall, it's a place we can comfortably enjoy as a family. They've been open about 7 months, and I hope they continue to get the support they deserve.

Food is ready quickly, though grilled items will take a few minutes more. For my first visit here, I ordered the Chicken Doner sub. I requested all the extras, which included the white yogurt sauce, a little of the spicy red sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and I believe cucumbers. It had great aroma and taste. The gentleman behind the counter (the owner maybe?) was very friendly and helpful with regard to ordering and preparing my sub. There's lots of tables inside of various sizes and heights, and plenty of parking outside. The worst part is waiting in anticipation in my car for those darn traffic lights on Route 9 and Old Loudon Rd. to turn green so I can get there!
