We recently had Xtreme Rodent Control to take care of our rodent problem in our house. We used 2 other companies before but were not too happy with their service. Alisa was great. She was on time with all her appointments. The first visit she rodent proof the house. She set 10 traps in the crawl space and another 10 traps in the attic. She came back a week later to check the traps. Walla got 3 rats in the crawl space with one which was one of the largest she had trapped. None was trapped in the attic. She came back the second week. There was none in the crawl space. This time one was trapped in the attic. She will come back again in 3 weeks to make sure that there is no more rodent in the house. The first company I used before did not set up any trap, while the second one had 2 in the attic and 2 in the crawl space. They did not even come back again to check the traps. The charge was more than reasonable and has a 6 month warranty. We can call her if we suspect any new rodent problem and encounter any bad smell. Alisa and her crew are great! I interviewed a half dozen companies before finding Alisa on Nextdoor from a recommendation from a neighbor. She was the ONLY contractor who was willing to do a comprehensive job of dealing with rats in my attic. She did a thorough inspection, trapped and inspected weekly, and patched any openings/entry points she could find. We have a tiled roof with curved tiles and rat-proofing it is almost impossible. All the other contractors either would only treat on the outside of the roof, or only the inside of the roof, or wouldn't patch, or they really just wanted to sell me a new roof or clean out and reinsulate my attic. Very frustrating, until I found Alisa! She is also a very good communicator and lets me know in advance if she will be a bit late. Alisa is the best contractor after several came in for inspection for rodent control. She is thorough in the inspection and gave a reasonable quote. Others are more interested in selling me insulators. She is on time and she was able to find all the openings inside the house where mouse can come in and locate all openings in the roof and put everything in writing where, how and when she is going to fix in the quote on the spot. She did not pressure me to commit right then and she is ok for me to reply after I talk with other contractors. No other contractor did that detail and gave honest assessment and not try to oversell. She did solid permanent blocking in all the holes inside the house and in the roof. And she placed traps in the attic and will come back weekly to inspect them till they are clear. I think we're finally rodent free. None in the garage, Alisa sealed a side door with metal flashing, something the previous pest company did not do, even if they assured me the door was "solid." The problem areas in the house that we heard activity have are quiet, too.
