I found Sara on Yelp and chose her because she is someone who not only helps you to get things organized and neat but she also sets up systems that are very easy to maintain. When I hired Sara, I was overloaded with client files and a host of paper work. Sara patiently and professionally helped me to get everything organized. There were several times when I got frustrated with all the "stuff" but Sara kept being professional, polite and very pleasant throughout the process. I organized with Sara a while ago and when she started a new service called Right Hand Gal, I wanted to try it. I had a backlog of returns to make, random errands and grocery shopping to do and I definitely didn't want to haul a toddler and baby around to do them! I would never think of a personal assistant for myself, it seemed like something only a celebrity would have! I just had some mundane chores to get done...and I wanted a break! But, I was assured that this was just the thing that Riley (the Right Hand Gal!) would do. I was easily able to schedule an appointment. When the time came, Riley arrived and went over some preliminary paperwork about what all Right Hand Gal entailed and what was offered. Then, we went over what I needed done. Throughout the whole experience Riley was friendly, very organized and reassuring about getting it done. I was getting pretty excited about it all that I even asked her to pick up my favorite iced tea drink while she was out! Now I really felt like a celebrity! In all, I had her make returns at several stores, go to the post office to mail some things and get stamps, drop off at the goodwill, pick up my beverage, pick up groceries at the grocery store, and wash all of my makeup brushes. She got all of that done in record time. I felt like it was worth the cost, because aside from saving me the time, it definitely cut down on the stress and doing it all with kids in tow and got it all done in one shot. I didn't have to think about it anymore! I'd definitely recommended this service to a new and/or busy mom. I took Sara's calendar class with a friend of mine. The class was simple and informative and has radically changed how I approach my day and the tasks I need to accomplish. Sara told me I was her first paying customer!!! I wish I could say that Sara cured me from being a hoarder, but I'm not there yet. My daughters and I could not thank Sara enough for what she our bedroom organization...Sara painstakingly went through drawers and drawers of clothes and toys, showed my daughters (9 and 7) how to organize them neatly in each drawer and explained how organization should work. Ok people this amazing woman is a life changer!!! I made the best decision of my life by taking her calendar class this January. I am a mom of 2 kids almost 3 now and own my own business. I hate stuff. I am at a time in my life when I want to pare down all the stuff I have. I have tried for years and years on my own and could not do it. I work full time, I have had the joy of caring for my 91 yr old aunt and I help in animal rescue. Stuff takes a backseat. But when I have a chance to relax, I want to enjoy my surroundings. So I called Sara. So far we have done my craft room and bedroom closet. We cleaned out my closet and the final outcome is amazing. But the best is Sara herself. I need her here to help me get rid of stuff but she doesn't make you get rid of anything. I got to keep sentimental things and old favorites. But she was honest and observant. If a piece of clothing was out of date and fashion backward, she would put that out and I knew it was right. The three hours zoomed by and I can't stop staring at the five big bags that are going to a women's shelter tomorrow. I can't wait until Sara returns next month. My review is for all the organized people out there who are too busy/overwhelmed to stay on top of your organizing but don't want to hire someone to help you organize because you already "know what to do" but just need to do it! I am generally an organized person and didn't see the need for a professional organizer when I could do it myself. But when my husband found and hired Sara to help him get control of his in home office, I instantly saw her value. I was home and witnessed Sara's magic (in both her ideas/style and her personality). I was jealous of his office transformation and hired her to help me get our garage under control and teach me her calendaring system. She was amazing and worth every single penny! I still use systems she helped me put into place and I feel much more on top of my life and to do list when I use her approach to calendaring. Sara was instrumental in helping me get not only my house organized by my life organized. I called Sara desperate for help with my cluttered house. We organized closets, cupboards, office drawers, laundry room, mud room and more. I hired Sara for only a couple of rooms but realized I needed her back to help with our garage and storage unit. She never made me feel like I had to get rid of anything. There were so many times that I tried on my own to purge and never could (though I knew I needed to). Having Sara there made me WANT to part with items that I knew I didn't need. I haven't missed one thing that I donated. (I believe after 3 days we had 14 bags to donate and I lost count on how much trash was thrown away). Again, the point wasn't to have me get rid of anything, I just ended up wanting to and it felt so good. She helped me find a designated spot for everything that we went through. She taught me systems for organizing and bill paying that are so easy to stick with. I also highly recommend taking her calendaring class. I had lists upon lists of "to-do's" which brought me so much anxiety. After her calendaring class I now schedule time each and every day for those to-do's and never leave open ended tasks on a list. This has significantly allowed me to feel like I have actually accomplished things by days end. She taught me that if it doesn't get done today, then just move it to tomorrow. I have successfully removed items and tasks that had been sitting on lists for months!! Having an organizer come into your home may make you feel vulnerable and embarrassed...or so I thought. Sara NEVER made me feel ashamed for my disorganization! She is honest, so kind, sincere, hardworking and motivating.
