I hired Clear Home Solutions to help me declutter. Sabrina efficiently helped me clear through the room, packed up my keep items, took the items to donate and gave me my receipts and discarded the trash. She was a godsend. I initially spoke with Vanessa and Elizabeth, and they were very helpful as well. I am very happy with my experience and would highly reccomend. read more

I hired Clear Home Solutions to help clear out a friend's home after she died. They efficiently and intelligently sorted her possessions into what was designated for friends and family, what could be sold for money worth having, what could be donated and what was garbage. It took only two days and they did an excellent job. read more

Tina, Karen, Vanessa and the CHS team were excellent. They cleared out my parent's house in an efficient manner. I live out of state and the need for regular and thorough communication was important. Tina's communication style was perfect - clear, concise and timely. Perhaps most importantly, they are exceptionally honest people - looking out for their client's best interests. The service is well worth it, and I recommend their services to anyone. read more

The CHS team (Tina, Karen, and Laurie) came to my family's aid at a very difficult time. We needed to clear out my elderly parents' home very quickly and efficiently. Before we hired CHS, I worked every day to retrieve financial documents, photographs, and a few keepsakes but hardly made a dent because I was exhausted and grieving. Tina, Karen, and Laurie finished the job quickly, efficiently, and carefully. They also had a profound sensitivity to my experience and communicated clearly every step of the way. Also, very little was taken to landfill, they were able to coordinate donations for various nonprofits! Hire CHS. The service they provide is worth every penny. read more

Clear Home Solutions worked miracles for me. I had to transfer my sister's entire apartment from Sunrise Beverly Hills Assisted Living to Silverado memory care via phone and email, since I couldn't travel from Boston to L.A. Vanessa worked quickly to assign two wonderful women, Elizabeth and Stephanie. They were thoughtful at every turn, treating my sister's belongings with so much delicacy and care. They sent me photos so that I could make decisions and kept going even after the job was done. Elizabeth drove my sister's Spectrum cable boxes to drop them off the day after they were essentially done with the rest of the job. And they sent me everything I asked for, all beautifully packed. They even helped set up her room at Silverado. I cannot recommend Clear Home Solutions highly enough! And their rates were extremely reasonable. If you need anything moved, call Clear Home Solutions! You won't be sorry. read more

Our experience with CHS was more than expected the thought of moving and what is involved was totally done by CHS. Elizabeth helped us plan, organize and donate stuff we no longer need. Clear Home Solutions did a fantastic job assisting me to clear out a family members condo in order to put it on the market. This 3-bedroom condo was completely full of furniture, furnishings and everything in between. They were able to sort the items for sale, donation or junk hauling and coordinated the logistics for all of those. I live out of the area so their involvement was invaluable. They kept me apprised of the status and worked very efficiently. I would highly recommend their services. read more

I am a longtime client of CHS, and a big fan of Marty and her Team of incredible, kind and thoughtful organizational professionals. Just recently, her Team -- Tina, Elizabeth, Sandra, Karen, Evan and Alex -- helped me consolidate several giant Family storage spaces-- winnow, organize, rebox, and relocate, etc. It was a big job, and these wonderful folks helped me and my wife through it with wit, grace and tireless energy. We're so grateful! Many thanks to Marty and to Audrey for helping set it all up on the daily. Couldn't recommend CHS more heartily! read more

Clear Home Solutions was a fantastic organization to work with for my mother's relocation. They partnered with us to make her move less stressful and honored her home and belongings like they were their own. Nothing was ever too much of an obstacle for them and our move manager, Elizabeth and her colleague Sandra, did everything they could to make my mom feel cared for and supported while they managed the packing, moving process, and donation and hauling away of the household items she didn't move with her. They charge for what they do so you don't have any surprises. The administration team is professional, caring, and sends invoices weekly. If you need help with moving a loved one or you are looking for help for your own senior relocation, I highly recommend Clear Home Solutions. read more

Worst experience EVER! The only good thing was Shane. He actually cared about me and my stuff. Marty only showed up to do a walk through but sent her minions to do the work. First day went ok, second day she sent someone else w Shane and the third day she sent Shane plus a totally inept woman who didn't care about my belongings at all, more like a bull in a china shop. She also broke a very valuable piece of equipment. Moved stuff around without any hope of me figuring out where anything was after they left. Marty overcharged for the project and it was a worthless process. Now I have to find someone else to help undo the damage. Waste of time and money! read more

I worked with Marty and Audrey who made a genuine effort to listen and understand my needs very well from the beginning. They then put together a team of fantastic caring individuals (Evan, Debra, and Al) who were solid down-to-earth people who were solely focused on my goal on the day of the clean-up! They were efficient at making decisions, elevated the right points to discuss, and just kept the train moving forward! They certainly exceeded any commitment they made both in letter and spirit and I would not hesitate to work with the same crew on any future projects. They are an authentic and honest team! read more

I had to move my Mom from her home of 40+ years while she was recovering in the hospital, to the rescue were Marty, Audrey and Sandra! Sandra came to the old and new homes, measured everything and sent me the floor plan for the new unit that afternoon. Sandra even purchased the new bed (none of the old ones fit well) and all the bedding. Mom is so happy with having her things arranged so lovingly in her new place, thanks CHS! read more

I got Clear Home's number from a friend and couldn't be happier. I had to clean out my Mom's house and get it ready to sell. There were over 50 years of stuff she collected. Clear Homes came in and helped clean it out. They helped me make decisions on what to keep, sell, or get rid of. They arranged for an online auction and trash removal. They represented me at the auction and auction pick-up. When the house was empty they left it clean. Again, I couldn't be happier. I only wish I could give them six stars. read more

I had the good fortune to meet Marty by a fluke. She showed up in a search for "Senior Movers/Re locators association." My mom had just died at 75 and I had a whole house to pack up and move from LA to San Diego and then move it all over again last year! Packing up and going thru everything was going to take months and months if I did it own my own, that's when I stumbled upon Clear Home Solutions! It was also overwhelming when I looked at the big picture for me to do this on my own. I read everything on the website and set up an appointment to meet with Marty the same day. She came to the townhouse and we kind of did a walk thru. I also discovered my mother was a "hoarder." What came out of that house was beyond belief! Granted, she did a lot of entertaining, but does anyone REALLY need 8 - 10 sets of dishes and assorted crystal stem where for each set? After meeting with Marty, we set the wheels in motion to get this job started!. I think we started on a Monday. Kate showed up with all her supplies and a helper and they just got down to work. I was spending one week in LA and one week in San Diego for 6 months. I am lucky that I can work from home so I could monitor the progress and was available to answer questions when they were packing it all up. Kate seemed like the veteran team leader and directed the work of others they would send with her. Emotionally, Some days were okay and other's were awful. I remember the day when they packed up all 3 sets of wedding china and it got to me and I started crying. I didn't have them come back the next day so I could absorb everything that was happening. My mom had been dead about 6 weeks and all those feeling were still so fresh and raw; the packing days were difficult. Unfortunately, none of the women in my family could fit in my mom's clothes and shoes- she was so tiny - too bad since she had some really nice stuff!. I had 8 boxes full of just scarves! It was amazing how much they could do in 4 hour work chunks. Half days was about all I could handle at the time as I had many other things going on with the Trust and dealing with other family members. When all was said and done, it took about 6 months before the house was ready to be listed to sell and everything cleaned out. It was only on the market for 1 day and we had multiple offers that exceeded the asking price. That was one thing that went really smoothly - all cash offer with a 45 day escrow. I would have been lost without the help of Marty and her team at CHS! I would highly recommend using them again if the need arises read more

I have used Clear Home Solutions for 2 of my clients prior to their move. CLS is professional, reliable, flexible and work hard to complete jobs. I can't say enough good things and I barely know how to begin my praise for this company. Exactly one week ago I was sitting on the side of the road, nauseated and in tears, imagining the amount of work cut out for me as I neared starting to pack up the home in which my elderly parents have lived for 16 years. My father has dementia and my mother is tiny and overwhelms very easily. Not an easy task. Once I came up with the idea to look for help, I found Clear Home Solutions and messaged them. By the next morning they had replied and a day later, Marty was in my parents' home with me to assess the job. Cut to: this evening. I'm enjoying a glass of wine and watching TV after three days (12 hours in total) of working with crews to sort and pack the absurd amount of "stuff" my parents have accumulated over the last several years. Marty estimated exactly the right amount of time and the correct number of people needed to get the job done. The prices were EXTREMELY fair and the office was very responsive when I asked for updates on my current invoice totals. Not only did the crews sent to the house work quickly, carefully, and efficiently, but they looked and behaved professionally, were so kind and patient, and knew how to handle interference from my father who has a very difficult personality in addition to his dementia. There is obviously serious training that goes on before employees are allowed to work in the field, and it shows. I honestly wish I could have any member from this crew live with my husband and me and manage our entire lives! THANK YOU to Marty, Cathy, Cathy, Shane, Melinda, Jessa, Gayle, and Nick. You are all awesome and I have the utmost respect for what you do and how you do it. read more

This was my second time using Clear Home Solutions and once again they did not disappoint. Their team of efficient, friendly and hard working. I expected it to take 2 days to organize my garage but they got it done in one and it exceeded my expectations. Their prices are more than reasonable, especially considering how efficiently they work. They also arranged for donation pickup and trash haul away. I highly recommend this company!!! read more

I was able to see first hand how much this company cares for their clients! Our company was called in (Steri-Clean) to assist in sorting/dehoarding a clients home. Marty and her staff did a wonderful job clearing out the house that had been in our family since the early 60s (and had the accumulated stuff to prove it). They worked with our realtor so that furniture needed for staging the house was left in place. The rest was sorted for donation or disposal so that the house looked great when it went on the market. read more

My Father died, in his home, on March 30,2018. He had a 5 bedroom, 2 story house and he was a hoarder. I recently had bypass surgery but I thought, with the help of my friends, I can do this myself. We tried to clear it out but every time we made some headway, my Schizophrenic brother would break in, vandalize the house and topple all the progress we had made. A friend of mine, who used to work at CHS referred me to Marty and my only regret is that I didn't call her sooner. She came over to meet me at my Dad's and was very friendly and warm. I got an estimate and assigned a crew and off we went. The crew, headed by Shane (THE BEST!) showed up on time day after day and helped me sort and pack and pick through the trash to find so many buried and hidden treasures. Every time they found something of value they responded with delight like they just hit the lottery. They were all so organized and empathetic, friendly, professional and just a joy to be around. Their boundless energy was the boost I needed. They are so professional that when my schizophrenic brother broke into the garage with an ax and then returned while they were in there cleaning, they did not run but kept a calm demeanor and kept working until the police arrived. Marty was so concerned that she came over, herself, to help out. At the end, I really hated to see them go! Carol ( another gem, who now works in the office) and Shane were very comforting to me during this difficult process and I cannot thank them enough. A few weeks later, Carol called to let me know that there was an error with the accounting and that they owed me money!!! They could have easily never reported this but they are such an honest company. The cherry on top was coming home last week to find a package in the mail from CHS. They sent me a beautiful leather bound organizer with a hand written thank you card!!! So much class. Marty and her crew really do care about their customers. It's not just about packing and boxing. They did so many little things to help out in a time of stress and grief that I appreciate. They really cared how I was weathering the whole journey. I highly recommend them. They saved my health and my sanity and got the job done right. (and quickly!) I can't say enough positive things about this company. I'm really grateful for their help. read more

First off, let me say that, when I went to CHS' page just now, in my curiosity I could not resist reading the other reviews on here. The negative ones in particular gave me a great laugh! ........Yeah lady I'm sure an employee of this company was out to steal your beads--totally!! One should really take reviews (or angry rants) that make slanderous, character-attacking accusations with a grain of salt--or maybe a pound! I don't usually "yelp" as much as I should, but I wanted to take a few minutes to express some thoughts about my experience with CHS--because for all the incredible help they gave through their time working with me--this is the least I can do for them in return! During my move last summer, I worked with several different CHS workers, and somehow they were ALL just as caring, understanding, knowledgeable and hardworking as the next. The integrity and work ethic of this company is top notch! I could keep going on and on--because I really cannot say enough good things about the people at CHS and my experience with them--but I won't. I will just finish by saying that their team skillfully and compassionately helped me navigate a grueling, stressful and difficult situation in my life, and I will forever be grateful for them!!! read more

What a great experience! That overwhelmed, paralyzed feeling I lived with began to lift from our first meeting with Marty Stevens-Heebner when she came to give us an estimate. "We can take care of that for you" are some of the most beautiful words I've ever heard. Such a relief! Discards were taken to the trash, donations were delivered to a vendor who sent us itemized receipts for our taxes, and our closets and cabinets were organized for the way we live our lives. The CHS "Dream Teams" (as I call them) were very kind and patient, but also very respectful of my time and pocketbook. I also had the best experiences with the office staff who answered my questions and scheduled appointments with efficiency and grace. The same calm, efficient, kind manner met us at every point of contact. Thank you, CHS, for making our call for help such a positive, life-changing experience. read more

ENGAGE THIS COMPANY!! Without the least bit of hesitation, I can highly recommend Marty and her team. She's like a sister to me and my family. I can't speak highly enough about this company, about the employees, and about the owner. I know that everyone can have a bad day, but I don't believe everything I read from reviews. I only know that every day is better when Marty and her team are helping me and my family. I have used Clear Home Solutions on two separate occasions, and many of my family members have used them as well. A high-end cruise, at $300 per person a day, has competition from the service I got from this company. You get what you pay for!! Sometimes things are more expensive than you want to pay for, and that's okay. I am sure that you can find less expensive services, but you never find MORE quality in this one. Like many of my friends and colleagues in their late 50's, my LA parents became difficult to manage at home. My father had metastatic cancer, and after he died, my mother's dementia became unmanageable in 2014. Mom lived at home with help during the last few years, but it was time to move her out, and we needed help. I don't live in Los Angeles, and my life is quite full, like many other professionals, performers, parents and adult children of failing elders. My sister and I were searching for not just anyone to help, with a great referral, we found an angel in Marty Stevens-Heebner. I may not be an expert in human behavior, but I studied psychology and biology with Nobel Prize winners at UCLA, and at USC. I have lived in the US and in other countries, and have been on 5 continents. I have run a service- based business for over 20 years. I served in the United States Navy, and have worked with national and international experts in many fields. I am proud of my parents and of my children, and endeavor to treat everyone with respect and kindness. I am well-versed in medicine and in the law, and appreciate attention to detail. In a compassionate and calm manner, without hesitation, she jumped right in and help mom move into assisted living. Because of her memory difficulties, and mom's fear of a new environment, Marty and her team repainted the new room, and arranged the home furniture in a two day whirlwind, so that mom could walk into a familiar environment from day one. She was so happy until further degradation of her memory in February 2017. She needed a move into memory care because of increasing care requirements. That's when the magic happened again. In a flash, Marty jumped into action. How reassuring to know that I could help orchestrate the move from two states away, without concern for mom's personal property or for her safety. The move went without a hitch, THANK YOU, Marty!!! DO NOT be dissuaded by those who have personality conflicts, because this is a great company. Feel free to contact me if you have other questions. read more

From start to finish Marty and her team were fantastic. They were kind, professional, organized, efficient and patient. I had the difficult task of moving my parents, both in their 90s, to an assisted living facility. They have been married almost 65 years and it seems they had kept every item they have acquired throughout their lifetimes. Needless to say the task was daunting but CHS made it both possible and bearable. I will never move anywhere without them, whether it is a move for my loved ones or myself. It was a big move so we met several different members of the team, who were all great. Our main project manager was Paula, who is my hero and the other person who was with us consistently was Shane. He too was spectacular. If I could exponentially increase the amount of stars above, I would do so! read more

Clear Home Solutions was recommended as the solution to relocating my mother from her apartment to a senior living apartment. Marty's team of professional, moving coordination, packers - pack, un-pack, place everything back in its place; including hanging all the pictures, and making my mother's bed! Marty's team took care of it all! Marty found the Moving company, coordinated the Movers, and direct the entire crew upon arrival to my mother's new apartment. Without their professional assistance, knowledge, and above care for my mother during this stressful time, I really could not have done this move without them. I would NEVER make another move without them, EVER! read more

I had a wonderful experience with Clear Home Solutions. Marty, the owner, was respectful, sensitive and thoughtful, while also being incredibly quick and efficient in combing through my many possessions, and helping me determine what was worth saving and what was better off being given away or recycled. She also did an amazing job of organizing and re-organizing what was left, so that the space was not only much neater and nicer to look at, but my belongings were also more effectively stored, with the things I need most frequently accessible and easy to find. She gave me a whole new way to look at my home: I now think about accessibility, efficiency and purpose whenever I make a decision about where something should go or whether it is even worth keeping. I use this same approach in purchases as well. In this way, her visit will pay off for me for years to come. It's also such a relief to have my things neat and organized! It's something I'd wanted to do for years but put off again and again -- and Marty helped me deal with all of it in record time. Bringing CHS in to help me was definitely a good investment and I've wholeheartedly recommended them to several friends, who were just as pleased. read more

Let me preface my review by saying that the workers and team members except for the CEO-owner of the company are fabulous. Ms. Stevens should thank her lucky stars that she was able to find such pleasant employees not only as organizers but as individuals. Because I do not want to give Marty Heebner-Stevens any more energy than I already have, I will not elaborate on the all that went on. A. Marty told me that I was lucky that she did not charge me for the time she came to site (when contractors contract a job, part of the job is to show up on site, and they do not charge). B. Watch out for that "personalized estimate" (NOT! its templates). My 6,000-9,000 dollar assessment of the job at hand ended up costing me 15,000 with the job not completed because I refused to give her any more money. C. Screaming at the client and hanging up the phone on them is part of her package. It doesn't make for great customer relations. D. There is no continuity in scheduling one day one organizer another day a brand new employee to her company. Sometimes didn't even know if they were coming until Tuesday morning of the following week. The icing on the cake is at the top of her contract she states "It's important to us that you feel in control of this project." WRONG! Ms. Stevens is the only one allowed to be in control of everything. I have been treated nicer and with more respect by a gas station attendant with whom i may be spending $30 to pump my gas than I was with the CEO of Clear Home Solutions with whom I spent $15,000.00. You may be thinking "but did the job get done?" The answer is NO! Even if for the point of conjecture the job was done as laid out in the estimate and promised NOBODY has the right to berate and insult another person so unethically. I don't need to pay for abuse I can lock myself in a room and injure and hurt myself all day and night long and not spend $15,000.00 for it She may be a senior move manager but knows nothing about dealing with people with ADD, ADHD, or OCD and if she does ...Shame on her. read more

Wonderful experience! I will definetly recommend them to anyone I know who needs help with any sort of moving/organizational needs, especially if seniors are involved. I was anticipating a nightmare, but they made our move incredibly painless. No complaints here! Thank you for everything! read more

Marty and her crew are miracle workers. My home was a disaster. But then Marty and colleagues swooped in and threw out the bad, organized the good, and my life has never been the same. What they do is absolutely REMARKABLE! And it's not just that they are experts in organizing. They teach you how to maintain it -- forever. Furthermore, this is a good-natured, energetic crew. They're happy, upbeat, passionate about what they're doing and their enthusiasm is infectious. They make it easy and even fun as you laugh over all the junk you're uncovering. I have no words to describe how efficient and competent they are. Marty and crew have changed my life and so much for the better. I LOVE being neat and organized and it could never have happened without them. They are the absolute best and I couldn't recommend them more highly!!! read more

It has taken me quite some time to write this review. I have had organizers since this negative experience from a different company which have been wonderful with people who worked with integrity. The person who worked with me from Clear Home Solutions would disappear for at least 30 minutes or more saying she had to put money in the meter. She would not answer text or phone during this time. I repeatedly told her she could park in the garage. She declined. When she would finally reply to my text she would say she was having lunch or moving the car. I was billed for the time she was missing in action. I had a filing system set up. She took it apart and made it impossible for me to find things. There was no reason to change my system putting things in places that seemed more appropriate for her when I only needed her to help me file as I had been ill and things were piled up. Once she took my system apart I could not find important documents. She would not reply to questions regarding where she had put the documents after she left. The experience was a nightmare. I finally ended my association with the company after a day of sorting through findings and stones only to watch the organizer slide in order to hide some stones under her crossed legs. When I immediately asked her where they were she ordered me out of the room on the pretense of telling me to look for them somewhere else. Really, you are telling me to leave the room in order to find what you just hid under you? I declined and watched as she "miraculously found them" in between her crossed legs. After this, she left to " check her meter" and disappeared for some time that I was charged for. Several months later I was informed that I was charged for time that they had "forgotten to charge me for". There were two different accounts to charge and they repeatedly refused to charge as I asked telling me they would charge one account one time instead of breaking up the billing in the same day we would work as I needed them to be billed. Beware. read more

Coming from New Mexico, I must tell you, that I was in real trouble, regarding how I was going to deal with my Aunt's estate, until I met Marty Stevens-Heebner! Marty came to me, at my Aunt's apartment, which she had lived in for 50 years! She spent a good hour with me, going over what had to be done, what I wanted to keep, how to handle the rest of my Aunt's belongings, most of which I wanted, but didn't have room for. Also, she thoroughly went over the costs involved. I knew it would be expensive, because I needed the crew to be slow and methodical, & they were. Further, Marty & her team were in constant contact with me, so that I was aware of the progress. What a wonderful reward, for me! Special memories & memoirs of my Uncle's WWII service. Special pictures of ancestors! Special papers, etc.. All that's left of my Mother's & Aunt's family. I could not stay in California to do this, nor did I have the energy, drive & knowledge to get it done correctly & legally. I could go on, because these wonderful people did such a valued service for me that I can never thank them enough! I will recommend them to everyone! In fact I wish I could get them to come & help me in New Mexico! Thank you, again, to all of you! read more
